Leonard Fournette suspended one game
3rdand12 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh my. you have a good heart though Go Bills -
I don't know about Bills Runs defense. When you let Poyer and Milano and Edmunds cover a b gaps? we have issues. if you let the front four take care of that, less so. Milano is so quick to the ball, you just never want him shedding blockers if you can help it. hell of a baller and playmaker though. huge asset to the team ! Going to be a pleasure to watch Edmunds and Milano grow as players and pros. good things.. good things.. man

Would you take Marcell Dareus back?

f no -
I do not watch college ball anymore. so my perspective coming in is just filtering what i read. But Josh Allen . By appearance and over the season one has to develop a perspective. I felt it before the injury, but Sunday? He nailed it to the Goal post You just know. this is the right guy to get up and cheer wildly for. This is what we needed all these years. He is hell bent on winning by leading. and that is the purest definition of why i/we should follow this guy over the cliffs of Gibraltar. Kid just inspires the Team. easy to see. now lets get him some players to work with ! Go Bills !

Edmunds...he deserves some love too
3rdand12 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
fair point. and mentioning moving him ? If they found another LB'r who was better for between the tackles ? I guess he would adapt and succeed. But not sure if you move the Defensive QB after entrusting him with all McD has so soon no really a nice and pleasant way to back off that commitment is there ?. You build around him perhaps.. For his errors ? He is doing many things better and more naturally. Give him an offseason another camp. I envision a pretty high ceiling with this "Kid" : ) -

I do not quite agree with you guys, and thats OK ; ) I think he learns from his mistakes and is settling in. He does over pursue a gap or pick the wrong leverage or shoulder to get to the ball in the run game. I would like to see him back another yard. His burst is almost too fast and he needs to keep his head up longer. as i said, love the Kid. Milano is a fine asset and ball hawk, but closer to a box safety still. Fast a heck and good hitter but gets moved around when lineman get second level hunting : ) what with the Stanford(sp)Julian (sp) ?? kid? Some where in between the two types ? seems like a good mix and match of LBs with Alexander playing above and beyond his age -

as did Poyer with Fournette. I am sure they learned some things Sunday : ) 49 mad that great play stopping the first down on the screen. He was l1st down marker aware , and then used his leverage to keep himself and the player from first down ! Each game he looks a bit more dialed in imho. not bad in the redzone either ! Love the Kid. got some jawing going too : ) -
Kelvin Benjamin has checked out. Just bench him.
3rdand12 replied to LTF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
on the other side of the coin ? Beane was desperate to get a big target in place. picking up a WR midseason is sketchy to begin with. so most folks had sincere expectations of this guy. Bills likely were hoping to create a match up issue. Well if you cannot catch the ball.... so he has lost any value he might have had. Thing is , his knees ar likely shot. and why he is so slow. Maybe he knows he is done physically already. Hope the Bills do. Let the Youth get into the game. It is Beanes money not mine. Bring Benjamin for red zone situation to draw a defender or two.. -
Is that the werewolf disease ? hey Gugny ! Don't beat yourself up : ( You can always take test again : )

I'll take them ! Might help my perspective experience is a Teacher perhaps ? : )

for a part of a game , i was wondering who the hell 80 was and why was he lining up outside? He is still learning it seems. but he is another heavier wide receiver playing TE. bring back O'Leary ! and line him up tight !! and who is behind Croom ? Logan Thomas ? improve the position with depth, then you can sort the wheat from the chaff

A wise HC will find his Mirror strength. Sean knows Defense. He is putting his money on Brian Daboll right now. The first OC was a penny in a fountain type of coach. a Wise Coach will trust his Mirror Coach. Concepts translate details do not. and the Offense is changing it's face after all. late is better than never Go Daboll If ya aint learnin' ya aint trying hard enough

i am loathe to jump into argument for the sake of argument. like i said the Bills f'd up the situation with Offense, compounded by what they put in place for Allen to potentially be working with. to define the reasons why ? seems to me a waste of effort. too many points to argue. lets hope Foster develops off what we saw Daboll call. I love someone who can track a deep ball ( awareness). and now that Allen is starting ? I am stoked to watch sunday
-
Bills have shown weaknesses a plenty building an Offense. Been forever actually. or in hindsight as well. If Bills were thinking of starting Allen ? they should have been thinking deep balls. even if his reading presnap was less developed. If they were thinking : ) if starting Peterman was the plan ? maybe it was all about timing routes . no matter how you look at the method and preseason approach, ? It was wrong. especially at WR.

TBD Secret Language re. Buffalo Bills
3rdand12 replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh dear no. I never curse over the phone ! -
there is a definite bias always running as an undercurrent here. Folks act like it is their money and the financial advisor screwed them ha ha. Bad contract in different era, Whaley desperate to get weapons for EJM was the cause for some poor decision making But Clay has been a decent target when on the field. and obviously been playing in pain for a couple seasons. Need to develop some youth to overtake his role sooner than later though
-
I think they can improve the position. and should. Clay has value , but he did not live up to the Whaley contract by any stretch of the imagination. I cannot fault Clay specifically. i like him. he gets open and can move the chains. He has value But it might disappoint him what that # now is. I would keep him. if he accepted a reasonable new contract and his legs(knees) are up for another season or two. ( i think they may not be though )

Thank you, an excellent desk reference indeed FE = fire everyone -
I woulda started Barkley this weekend. Not because he is Then answer, but because he just came off a decent win. You can always pull him after the third int on Sunday and put Josh in for the needed spark the Team will need in the second half ! : ) I want to see Allen play and progress. which he has and will continue to do. He will get his reps one way or another. Will consider him the future QB for Bills and Bills Fandom until proven otherwise .and will cheer him like crazy : ) Go Josh !!

Given the Keys to Draft How Would U Drive The Car ?
3rdand12 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
fast fast fast. -
do you have ANY idea how much maintenance is on a ferrari? and the motor maintenance is based upon mileage. you just don't drive them much. do you have a thing against that fine automobile? The AMC Pacer. Rare and quite functional when you can find one. they have a certain value in the right situation I avoid conundrums like i avoided the Plague and the Black Death and the 1919 pandemic flu. looks like you and I , and Benjamin Franklin agree about beer though : )
