They need one or two.and that skillset to be filled can be found later. What player and position changes the game day one for the Bills ? That is who you shoot for early in round 1.

I have had that opinion. The one that suggests McD was waiting for His GM to come on board and set the team up for the next Generation. trying to hit the homerun. Think that is basically true. Whether i am any kind of correct is another story. Messing up on your 1st round QB (ala EJM ) is something worse than waiting for a pretty decent QB draft class this past draft, Time will tell i suppose and how Allen shakes out. yes maybe he could have been better prepared. or Whaley would have gotten the credit, and harder to move on from him ?

sounds about right. The other method is to knock him around after the release and piss him off. he gets pissed at his players . Defenses ( front seven generally ) need to defend passing lanes against him diligently. is my humbled opinion..

If you were a Daboll and wanted to give his Playbook a jumpstart ; ) Where and what players would you consider the best investment this season. O line not withstanding : ) I was thinking UDFA TEs or sixth rounders depending on what FA found Us for ball catchers .

you're hired ! mathematically it works for me. Can likely move back up if need something too good to miss on. But , I would want more considering there might be leverage. the thing i cannot do is measure the BPA level and look at "need" picks , and consider what the Bills see of value there as compared to what the see from the first ten picks look like. am sure some here can give us and educated opinion. as i mentioned the math works well enough. But they best have some players they really like and can get to if they trade out. Hard to give up drafting in the top ten !!

I struggle to see Clay still on the team. I feel his injuries are just too much to overcome. He might be considering retiring ? need to pick up one FA TE who can start and one to challenge via draft perhaps. and hope that someone moves decisively ahead of Thomas and can push Croom for #3. wishful i suppose : )

I nearly expect it. But he need to be ready to move , for the sake of the Team. Ps i am a Teller fan in the right offense. so moving Dion to RT might be what Bills want to challenge him with. OTAs and preseason etc should be fun for Dawkins : ) I bet they move him around no love for Mills getting ejected....

But i like the way College scouting is trending up, This offseason should be fun. as a Bills fan? that's when hope blossoms and is kind of exciting for me.

some of you folks seem grumpy. Every Coach and GM have friends, and certainly use that connectivity to develop the Team in any fashion possible. Especially a first time HC. after a season of two McBeane might be more able to chase their wish list better. I feel Daboll was one of those. and now he is influencing what the shape of the Offense is becoming. just my opinion of course. and i thought they were overly biased with Carolina players, but i understood why. and why Thomas Davis might fit. But KB was a major error and set my faith back on Beanes a notch PS I am very on board with this hire. Do like the youth feature with Farwell , and not very distanced from playing time either. Great perspective to have on both counts : )

I think you might be too harsh. would give him another season. he started out rough and improved , albeit incrementally. and you may be correct. I am of the opinion Bills are looking for a ! and # 2 capable via both or either FA and the draft. Ideally they grab two bonafide starters who will start day one . But you might be quite correct : )

I am going to take notice how he does when not under Marrone. Good to see him get a break and wish him well. not sure he will be the best fit for Rodgers though
