I think the goal for McD is situational football. Rotation and versatility are the D lines strengths, Bills have a nice tool box to make use of. as long as the LBs are disciplined in gap assignment and passing lanes awareness Bills should be a fairly complete defense. some of it's parts , if you will.

I have gained respect for Feliciano, the more reps he is getting. and of course how he plays the game. but mentioning Bodine? it is easy to see the difference. our back up center is quite acceptable so far. Long might be nearly as serviceable with the solid line Bills have. Morse is seeming more like a bit of sausage gravy to me than an absolute need and yes i was thrilled with his aquisition

one thing that might be under rated, Bills really covered the bases this offseason with O line. Just impressive in mho. working Felciano and Long at Center shows they knew the risks with Morse and... likely knew Bodine was "iffy" . lol

The reason i mentioned it , was that , so far he has been described as running all the routes and getting separations etc. I thought he was just an outside speed guy. But it sounds like he might be more complete than he was used previously ? But yes the sum of the parts and a decent OC, and a young QB learning to find the mismatches. should be fun !
