  1. I am fine with letting the season run. perhaps find a way to shake Murphy loose more often. what they are doing has not gotten ANY of our D ends to the QB. McD and Frazier seem too dependant on using the" back seven".
  2. surely they move guys around.. Each games asks for different points of attack or defense. But to your point. i do not see them flipping murphy and hughes or Johnson and Lawson enough. being predictable is fine when you dominate. sometimes i miss Jim Schwartz , and was reminded of that last week
  3. whom are the LBs though. need a thumper.
  4. that is true. and why each week is a new game. Teams watch tape, go after perceived weakness. Weakness exposed, coaches watch tape and try to fix said weakness etc
  5. This is a great point and yet if you had never discovered them ? you would not have that joy, and gone blissfully along in life. and now you have found joy! you are pissed. this is much deeper than a quick glance reveals. LOS is pretty f'g good compared to decades of getting our QBs killed and or traumatized while getting killed
  6. we remain a disappointment to the Gods. so we're kinda screwed. especially BillsFans everybit of this
  7. I feel this is the answer to the question not asked. But as some folks like to relate any players current value to draft position Ed is a bust. lol I have faith he will get his stride sooner than later. have seen some excellent play from him already as he continues to gain gameday exp. love this kid. if he takes snaps over the tackle or plays the snap standing ala LB ? i do not mind. he might be that good, in time. good post formerly Allen !
  8. That is just freaking awesome. no wonder they drafted him ! Now how best to use him is the trick. decent point by OP. McD love him some flexibility and game day match ups. This is one one of my favorite posts about why we should all love Ed. Patience please.. : )
  9. angry thread lol who knows what McD was saying ? he might. no question it is a fair statement nonetheless , room to improve there. for me? i did not see anything worth trading for. no magic pony to be had. Keep grinding and building the hard way, and do your best to find some gems in the draft while scouring the waiver wire for upgrades shaking loose. a good trade is very hard to come by. imo
  10. there is a chance. But Peko would need to be nursing some injury or something.. not McD style. one bad game doth not a player defineth lol
  11. just another brick in the wall. another irreversible setback sinking deeper yet into the abyss of morass that is Bills fandom Woe indeed are we . the oppressive suffering continues yet anon... where are the tears emoji ?
  12. Thank you.' so many gut reactions here. it was about skillset. not emotional leanings . good lord Peko was logical. Taylor will get his shot in time i feel. against what? context please! but yes i like this kid too
  13. You have to think he was a bit off, just because. All the fellows play banged up during the season and fans forget that sometimes. expecting 100 % is not always possible. but to my point , is 85% of Milano better than the next up in a situational game ? Bills have done a decent job of creating sincere depth within the team. But more work to be done. respect the effort. gotta keep grinding that roster Beanes : ) The Bills DL rotation is more situational than spelling a tired player. Harrison is a good example as compared to Star as compared to Oliver and then Jordan and now the raw youngster Peko. Harry was showing his game. Perhaps Bills miss him more than one might have thought we would ?
  14. I was trying to refer to the depth good sir !
  15. i do not think he is all that. not the answer. but i have been wrong before : )
  16. They have played better. Milano was out (big drop off ) and Edmunds has been flailing for some reason. Putting 57 on the line so much befuddles me. over a tackle even. on a run down much work to be done. Coaches called a bad game against Philly They know it the players know it. But i am saying it was one game against a SB team. Learning curves hurt
  17. solar or lunar they really should have dressed Sweeney last two weeks lol but kinda serious
  18. exactly. Eagles took us to school. nuff said Bills have work to do. Couple years ago they overhauled the Defense and that has shown improvement markedly eh ? did not break the bank either Last year Beanes overhauled the Offense. spent a bit more but definitely better * This coming year is fine tuning the details and moving on from what has not worked. another decent offseason will be telling . * Two players !! Allen is holding back the Offense. no one can question he is still raw in so many ways , can they ? and is he the answer ? ! Edmunds. still streaky and gets fooled. Not sure he is what Bills need at MLB. but let me be sure to tell you, I am very hopeful that both will continue to improve , as they both certainly have. But they also both make enough mistakes at key positions to perhaps call them game changers. Go Bills !
  19. lets at least start with Foster running full speed with shopping cart lol
  20. Got to have a Star type Tech in this defense, He got plenty of reps ( ? ) seemingly last week . So McD saw something. he could leverage. Star is hardly a liability, but he certainly is situational player with strengths and limitations . we agree generally : ) i do think they will look to draft a 1 tech or NT of some sort to anchor down that line of scrimmage in the middle. Phillips and Phillips are not that guy. If Star is starting next year i won't rant. thanks808 !
  21. I agree about how he has played his role. do not care about his contract btw. last week he was getting pushed and moved aside. every player has a rough outing. If Offenses are keying on him then thats a success really. but i just did not see a good game from him last week overall. I was trying to watch the runs in between tackles and Edmund development, so i ended up watching D line as while : )
  22. and this is what we hope to see from him and his role week in week out. he is not an automatic double team when he is ? Thats when D line wins the matchups
  23. i watched him via TV. i do have concerns. he did not hold his ground well. Miami game was the first one i stayed focused on him. This might be his last year playing for Buffalo. and i have been a defender nope theoretically correct. and what he was hired to do.. but watching last week i saw a fellow who could not get leverage. allow me admit i cannot see what he does all the time. not one for film study anymore
  24. see Ryan Fitzpatrick. he plays the horizontal game generally speaking. and how he gained success under Chan. we only have one burner burning right now. But Allen would do well to hit him in the hands. who was the CB for us that discovered he needed contact lenses.... its always somethin' getting up under a cowboys saddle and chaffing 'em.
