if you look at the routes he ran sunday, you have to be impressed. We had and have nay saers about his skill set. But he sure looks darned good to me in many an aspect.

why get trashed. back half of the season and they have whats his name backing allen up. and he can play football too. Go for it, let Allen do his thing. so disruptive for defenses and then everyone gets open or has man coverage at least : ) not the long term answer for sure. But yes, to get us into the playoffs. and if he gets injured he will have the offseason to recover. Barkley can handle the game if Allen goes down. ouch

Derek Fine lol I was not thrilled with Kroft signing either. he was coming off another injury. Perhaps Bills were quite surprised to get Knox? and then the bonus in Sweeny (my boy ) The hate on Lee Smith is justifiable of course. But he does tear it up when blocking downfield.. risk reward. and he has caught he ball actually. who figured ? i am not high on Kroft, but he can change my mind down the stretch The only reason they brought in "bad knees" Clay. run that seam, get downfield. Great weapon as a play call

hmmmm... Teams are always tinkering. of course they play to win some hate to hear it, but Allen is still a WIP. and they had not yet let him loose. Working on that intermediate stuff ,and pocket presence with new O line has been a chore for him , you can tell. i said before , losing a deep pass to the defense can be like a punt or even better when Allen throws it !

He is Beast after catch. Love that part of his game !! : ) Yeldon got his reps while Devin was down. did an average job, and is nice out of the backfield for sure

excellent post I would like to get Sweeney on the field. Kroft was picked up before the draft if i recall. Not sure how i feel about him. But Knox ? Yes i see him getting better and better in all aspects of his game , and playing for the Bills long term ( hope)

They gave Josh more responsibilities at the line and allowed him to check in and out of plays. was about playing smart and with discipline likely. perhaps now his brain is seeing what he needs to see. He graduated defensive awareness 101B now he is going to take Offensive aggression 201A ? you are on point about Daboll and his Coaching, always a good post from you you are grumpy again aren't you ? : )

Good post. Lorenzo's quote is best Play to make plays, not limit mistakes. Hopefully the discipline is muscle memory for most players by now and loosing the reins from Coach does not mean a chugging contest lol. its just a set of words. i would have preferred "lets get after it " should be a fun game. expecting some risk taking from Josh and Daboll, some blitzing and some mistakes. excellent point. Neal played LB and works well as a box safety. he plays downhill. I like the kid a lot. seen him on the line blitzing and playing like a deep LB. situational football i guess. But as to run game? I like 33 on the field

due diligence. you look just in case an opposing team picks him up. that is part of scouting as well.

THIS THIS and THIS well done. i was thinking today about how to Coach a season. especially and O coordinator. he has been showing different looks week to week generally speaking. Being an overthinker ( not smarter thinker ) Suspect Daboll and McD were finding out how much Josh could process and trying to find some coherence in the O line and WRS , TEs RBs. Now we are on the back side of the season, Perhaps training Camp is over. and now it is time to rock and roll and put more cards on the table. Time for the run to the playoffs come hell or high water Go Bills !

I think this defines the fearless bit as directed towards Allen. McD i hope has coached his players to make that tackle if the pick occurs ! Allen can throw farther than the punter can punt lol
