  1. Hey man, I get it. It's annoying. HOWEVER -- there's a difference between a baseless accusation and one that has legs. If this were a baseless wild claim, then sure. You don't get to just ruin a man's life without evidence. That's not exactly the case here. I do agree that there is some skepticism in the way that Doe's lawyer has been handling this with the media. This is why I think it's wildly important to separate #1 and #2 in my post. As a football team, given the circumstance, this is a fairly simple solution that works on several levels. It's not setting a precedent. It's just solving a problem that has risen.
  2. Well it clearly doesn't matter. Imagine being worked up over this.
  3. There are two separate things at play here: 1. How the Buffalo Bills, a football team, should handle this 2. The legal implications (both criminal and civil) that Matt, the person, faces. #1 should be easy. Cut him. Will there be a wrongful termination lawsuit if he's innocent? Sure. Cost of doing business for a billionaire with a football team. A punter's potential lifetime salary that they would be suing for isn't going to cripple the organization. #2 is more complicated. So far the lawyers have done a horrible job discussing the case with the media. It also is completely irrelevant to how the team should handle this. If you believe that the kid deserves his day in court, you can still accept that the team should release him to avoid the problems.
  4. I don't think there's anything fishy going on, but why would the other teams need to be in on a fix? I think the league is of course rooting for a Pats vs Bucs superbowl because the storyline is easy to market and sell -- but let's be real here. The NFL is not actively trying to fix games like this. It's not worth the risk. They get plenty of viewers regardless of matchup.
  5. Blaming Josh Allen, after our 17 year drought, is unthinkable to me. You have to be 8 years old or literally blind to think he's a problem with this team.
  6. Why do you guys think they added another discretionary rule this season? Everyone has been complaining for years that the subjective calls need to be removed, and they randomly add in a taunting penalty? Think about it.
  7. That's the point.
  8. There is likely a bias towards the greats, and referees have placed Mahomes in that category. The only thing that bothers me is when drives stall and are extended by weak calls, and that goes both ways.
  9. Would you analyze a grown man dunking on children in a basketball game? Because that's what you just did.
  10. Why? Genuinely curious. It's drivel made for casual fans and to be put on at bus stations and waiting rooms.
  11. I'm of the opinion that trolling TSW is not a fair fight. Most of the people who post here can barely read. @4merper4mer you need to get a better hobby. Also, when exactly did you lose the password to the crayonz account?
  12. OP, please read this: https://www.thepunctuationguide.com/ellipses.html
  13. He's definitely a gamer. Dude gives it his all on every play and that's why early on he would lose his mind when the refs didn't call holding. At this point for him to get on the wall, I think he'd need to get a sack in the superbowl or something.
  14. Only you called it a gender issue. The fact that you find it immature when people express their emotions says everything I need to know about you.
  15. I like how Beane said, “you don’t luck your way to 15.5 sacks.” I’ve read that his competition wasn’t great and that he had an unfortunate pro day, but it really seems like we went with someone who has great instincts. Many of his sacks were trips and underrated moves, and lord knows we really could have used some of that at times last year. My bold prediction is that even though he seems more raw than AJ who we really eased in, we’ll see more of Greg and we’ll rush him inside on obvious pass plays to create mismatches with guards. He might have a lot to work on technically to become a starter and every down guy — but we run a rotational unit and he’ll fit right in.
  16. There are a few too many old school tough-guy losers here.
  17. It must be so hard for you to bottle up all your emotions like the tough, rugged man you are. You're a true warrior.
  18. So I looked up a list of all-time Clemson NFL players to see just how bad it was. I was thinking there's no way that there hasn't been some greats on there. I was wrong. It's bad. Like, real bad.
  19. Don’t be ridiculous. He is 100% better than Kelly if he wins the Super Bowl. I don’t even know what argument you have. This is just his third season! He just about shattered any record Kelly had and he’s got 10+ years to go. You can still love Jim Kelly and respect the fact that Allen is unquestionably on pace to be the best player this franchise has ever even dreamed of having.
  20. Yeah, no. If Allen wins the SB he’s the best Bills QB of all-time and you’re going to be very alone with your opinion to the contrary.
