Is it possible we start 0-8?

McCoy will go off a few times this season and win is a game or two just by being untackle-able -
What areas of the team has Beane actually improved?
fridge replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I prefer Beane over McDermott actually. This is a gross over exaggeration, but I think McDermott believes he can force feed conservative football on his opponents and he thinks he’s clever when he burns timeouts after seeing what formation the offense is in on crucial third downs. Beane seems to me to be part of a newer generation of league executives that truly leaves no stone left unturned. I haven’t agreed with all of his moves, but he’s active and nothing that he has done so far leaves me to believe he’s going to just sit tight with a sub par offensive line. There was a lot of deadweight left over from the previous regime, and he’s impressed in getting rid of it this far. -
Calling Shananigans On the JA hate

He might not be the best QB in the roster right now. It’s close. Anyone that doesn’t think he’s the most talented is an idiot though. -
Hey man, those threads aren’t gonna start themselves.

I’ve yet to encounter anyone blaming Josh Allen. -

Peterman Cumulative Preseason Stats

I think you grossly overstate the arm strength knock and cherry pick anyone that agrees with it. The guy has an NFL arm. It might be on the lower spectrum, but you write about it like he’s incapable, which is both wrong and annoying to see repeated dozens of times a day by you. -

We heard you loud and clear. Fortunately, you’re not in the Bills’ staff. -
I don't watch ESPN or NFL Network and mostly just follow Bills news about 20-30 minutes per week. I find that the NFL has morphed into soap opera/wrestling, and for whatever reason fans eat it up. I can't stand the politicization of everything, the over production of the story lines, the worshipping of big markets, and the inconsistent referees/rules.

When did Jags fans become so anti-Bills?
fridge replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, he’s right. Jacksonville is counting the suburbs in their population. If western New York did the same it’s a whole different ball game. -
Sean McDermott is the most annoying kind of person.
fridge replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually do find McDermott incredibly annoying, but not for the reason that the OP stated. I also think it's possible to respect their last season and the future of the team while simultaneously thinking our head coach is a bit of a goober. -

And that's coming from someone that lives there! -
At some point in the not too distant future, Andrew Luck will stop being the most overrated QB in the NFL and the consensus will simply be that he had a bad career.

Why even bother posting more than twitter links if you’re incapable of having a nuanced conversation? Every thread I click on you’re calling people out that disagree with you and all you ever do is parrot your opinion. If you’re going to tag me and call me out, how about actually discussing it rather than just post one sentence remarks of no substance.

I certainly wouldn’t say with bravado that Peterman’s game is full of holes. I think he has a great grasp of the game pre-snap and he is undeniably a hard worker with a good attitude. If he were able to be our backup for a few years I would be more than happy with that.

One thing I think we can all agree on... Initially McCoy was better off just paying her some "hush money" and cutting his losses when they broke up. Is he wrong to want to be able to just walk away from this relationship? No, but let's be real here... she just suddenly become a crazy person. I do think it would be cool if McCoy made this his hill to die on and found a way to drag her through a lengthy court process and never settle with her.

I can't wrap my head around this at all. You feel this way because of the Chargers half of football or something else?

How many WR's are the Bills going to keep?

A lot of people that are putting Reilly on their list are going to be let down. -

That was a bad INT by Chad Kelly. It was nice to see him go through the progressions but that was just a bad pass. -
I can honestly say that I've never once seen anyone bring up throw velocity in a serious QB argument until this thread. Nathan Peterman has an NFL arm. It's on the lower spectrum, sure, but it's good enough or he wouldn't be here. As long as he focuses on his strengths, like pre-snap reads and getting the ball out quickly, he'll do just fine. It does seem like some Bills fans are genuinely rooting against him or at the very least cannot get past their confirmation bias. Right now, all three QB's should give you hope. For the first time in many years, there's not a QB like Yates, Kolb, Cassell, etc. in our camp.

Is there really a need to hop on a message board and post about some kid playing “radio”? He probably makes a nickel over minimum wage. Just turn it off. If you can’t find other entertainment than the AM radio in 2018, the problem might be you.
