  1. I think Peterman undeniably earned his start. He's the best QB on the Bills roster today. Will that be the case this time next year? Probably not -- but the dude put in the work, improved and gets the ball out quickly after the snap. I'm actually looking forward to this season.
  2. Remember when Mario Williams, the absolute bum who everyone thinks was terrible, recorded 13 sacks one season and followed it up with 14.5 sacks the next?
  3. Good luck with your podcast.
  4. This guy really has practice squad eligibility left? If so, and that's where we put him, I can't see the issue here at all.
  5. Are you a Bills fan? This is a serious question, by the way. I’ve never seen a username highlight something so negative like yours.
  6. I’m in shock that the “ . “ key on your keyboard still works. You mean this season, right? This is the Bills, I scratch my head ten times per game. Just last year we ran a designed screen pass to Tolbert on 2nd and 20.
  7. I get it, fans criticizing the team for swapping punters seems laughable, but... 1. Schmidt was the holder of a FG unit that was insanely good last year. Why throw this into the mix and potentially create scenerios where we lose a game because there’s no kicker + holder relationship 2. Schmidt was average at best...but also average at worst. He was average. He shanked a few in the season but was relatively consistent. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. 3. This new guy has never played in the NFL and didn’t come from a big school. This is an enormous risk. We have no idea how he will handle the pressure of a road game. I’m not just talking about punts. With the game on the line and a must make field goal late in the fourth, the crowd will be insane. It’s a lot of pressure, and if he’s the holder how can we trust him. 4. Have we even brought him in? It’s my understanding this guy hasn’t even punted in a preseason game. What are we scouting him from? Other teams’ training camp? College? All in all, this seems like a completely unnecessary risky move that you all laugh about now but potentially come back and bite us in the ass.
  8. Genius indeed. I wonder if there’s room on the roster for an onside kick specialist?!
  9. You seem like a reasonable person.
  10. Biscuit, it’s not worth it. Fans that actually believe EJ is the worst QB in the league are mouth breathers. We know how this goes. You and I thought our franchise pulled him too early and never helped develop him, and they see a bad half of football that we would have won if not for a joke of a defensive PI call. Before any of you morons jump on me, I don’t think EJ is a great QB. I wish he would’ve worked out and still think he’s a gamer, but he’s not nearly as bad as you superlative psychos think. It was always about the draft pick with you guys. Never mind that we traded down. Never mind that he ended up being the best QB in a horrible, horrible draft class.
  11. Can he play guard?
  12. He chooses what team to go to based on their QB needs, and it’s no mistake that he keeps finding himself on teams with issues there. You don’t see him headed to Green Bay to be a backup for a reason.
  13. A hockey 3rd is relative to a football 7th to be honest.
  14. I think if anything it means McCarron is at or below the standards of a backup QB. I think EJ’s stat line is what a backup should put up against scrubs. The difference is EJ is probably the second best QB on their roster (at worst it’s a coin flip between him and Cook), and McCarren is our third best. We’re setup in a decent position there, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we cut McCarron because he’ll just get in the way and he probably doesn’t want to be QB3 anyways.
  15. hey 0 yoiu're allowed to miss preseason games
  16. Is Logan Thomas definitely the emergency QB? Can anyone that went to camp confirm if he even took any reps throwing this offseason?
  17. No, I believe the question is, "who is the best RIGHT NOW?". Any idiot knows that "TBD" how their careers shake up, but that's not the question.
  18. Sorry for not knowing, but what is the source of the two firsts? That very well be their initial asking price, but there's no chance they'll end up getting that. I would think 2019 1st and mid-round 2020 is the most you're going to get for a hold-out player. Oakland simply doesn't have enough leverage to pull off two firsts.
  19. I don’t know for sure, but it feels like there’s a zero percent chance that they cut Clay.
  20. If you’re going to make this argument, at least point the Trent Murphy signing.
