  1. You forget we traded Willis "stud muffin" McGahee for two third round and 7th Rnd pick to them in 2007 I'd say we "sort of" did o.k. in that one
  2. I agree about the "don't break the bank" part. As I stated, his trade value has plummeted recently. So, if the Bills can get him for , say , Lynch or a 4th round pick......it might be worth the risk. Again, IF management meets with him and determines he is a.) Not crazy b.) Willing to sign a REASONABLE contract extension (whatever reasonable means these days) I don't think Gaither has to be a leader. The line has Wood and Levitre. In Gaither's defense, he DOES play hurt.
  3. Are you suggesting the Bills try to trade Lynch for Gaither? I don't think you are but just in case On that subject, the Ravens, unfortunately, do not need Lynch since they have Ray Rice ( I still remember the FIRST play in last year's Ravens-Cheatriots game!). Still, it might be an interesting trade to consider even from the Raven's point of view. A young, former 1st round RB who made the pro bowl a couple of years ago. A change of scenery might do BOTH players some good. As to Marshawn, IMO, the idea of trading him for a 4th rounder is crazy to me. It would be rewarding terrible behavior for little compensation. This is a rare opportunity to make a point for management by fining him if he fails to show up for mandatory practices (still to be determined), costing Lynch tons of money while the Bills can still be sitting fine at the RB position. In other words, the Bills CAN afford to make an example of Lynch. Usually the holdout player has the team by the short hairs (see: Jason Peters). Not so in Lynch's case. As to Gaither, his value has plummeted in terms of possible asking price making it a buyer's market. He will still demand a large salary though. I wouldn't trade for him unless I met with him and got some feel for where he was mentally/emotionally and to get him to agree to a new deal which satisfies both sides (Gaither and the Bills) prior to any trade. This has been a strangely active trade-filled offseason. Maybe the Bills will strike a deal themselves. -RnJ
  4. Jay! The RichNJoisy 4 ticket set will be paid for by JEFF GALL. He will be sending you a check tomorrow morning and he will include instructions on where to send the tickets. If you have any questions etc etc..PM me. Thanks!
  5. FYI : Jay has been doing this for LOTS of people who regularly inhabit this Board. He is absolutely reliable. The funny part of this is that it is HE (Jay) who is more at risk since he takes people at their word that they want to buy tickets. yes, if a person reneges he would still have the tickets but who wants all that hassle? Anyway, Jay is a gem. Use him.
  6. Jay I'm back again. Put me down for four (4). I will get the check in the mail tomorrow morning Thanks
  7. Right now, I only need one (1) too. So, put me down for one, Jay.

  10. according to kffl.com via scout.com...... 11. You're Cute. I take it your day job is Bills ticket sales? Whatever. Go Bills!
  12. I agree with this. Schefter has been pretty spot on in a profession that excels at mere speculation. Now if you want to find a sports reporter who truly hates Buffalo, stop and end with Mortenson. Schefter is o.k., though.
  13. Rocky! When do you Walk? Can I send you a check again this time? Can you PM me your address? Good luck! -Rich & Lisa
  14. Trent Williams and Okung will both be gone by pick 5 put it in the books.
  15. The best deal I can remember was with Tampa when they traded up to grab the top tackle....I forget his name but he ended up a bust - the Bills got Travis Henry with the extra pick and nabbed Nate Clements with the Tampa pick. so it HAS worked before.......
  16. My own prediction is the same EXCEPT if Bulaga is there. It will be an interesting/exciting 10 minutes tonight if Dan Williams (very likely), Jimmy Clausen (likely) and Bulaga (unlikely) are all that for the Bills pick. Any of them are fine with me - I would take the OT however,
  17. This one is simply nutty. Not only does Trent Williams fall to us, but we then skip him. He then falls to 14?

  20. This is what I was wondering. Also, at vet min he could be a decent mentor/backup for a new young Clausen QB
  21. NFL | Bulger wants another opportunity to start Comment (0) Tweet! Share on Facebook Tue, 20 Apr 2010 07:49:15 -0400 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Tribune, reports free-agent QB Marc Bulger (Rams) will first look to see if he can find another starting job in the NFL before signing with a team as a backup quarterback. ******** Does anyone here think Marc has anything left in his tank? He wants a chance to start? Buffalo sounds like the place. The friggin' job is wide open right now isn't it? Would it hurt to sign him at vet minimum plus bonus incentives if he wins the job?
  22. "We actually have 28 divisional games in those last three weeks, as opposed to 15 for the 2009 season, and all 16 of the final Week 17 games will be divisional games," Goodell said on "Mike & Mike in the Morning."
  23. Adam Schefter, of ESPN, reports via Twitter NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said during a radio interview that all Week 17 games in the 2010 season will be divisional matchups.
  24. yes I have found his 1st mock to be o.k. and the second way off and the final one is his "real" prediction
