Why I hate Bills playing Thursday Night.....
Homey D. Clown replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
for selfish reasons I agree with you. While it's great to see the team on thursday or Monday, it messes with my internal Bills fix clock. I hate waiting for monday night games especially... messes with my weekend rithym. -
It was a tough choice but AB announces his biggest regret…
Homey D. Clown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
hmmm... ok, where to start. I would normally blame CTE injuries to mental deficiencies like this, but in his case a healthy dose of CTE might actually do him some good. Hey AB... you should have seen me post this live... it was like Moses parting the waters.... -
Considering my 3 QBs in order of who I wanted the Bills to draft were:: 1. Josh Rosen 2. Josh Allen 3. Mason Rudolph I'd say I was fairly disappointed they didn't draft Rosen, as I thought he was going to just be laser sharp, but then shifted my attention to Allen. He actually began winning me over slowly with his draft stage interview. I thought, "OK kid, you're a Bill now, prove me wrong". Anyone who saw that pass(including me that day, hoped there was much more in the tank). I just didn't get my hopes too high, as the 20 years of garbage football has beaten the living $h1t out of my optimism. Props to anyone who saw it that day too. Ohh... and lastly, "pre-season Peterson" had me very hesitant to get excited about anything I saw in pre-season...

Roquan Smith has requested a trade
Homey D. Clown replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I haven't seen him play a single down so I can't comment about his value, but I particularly dislike when people take to social media to blither on about how bad they have it in the NFL. Don't care, don't want. -
I can't disagree with you there. between the Titans and the panthers, I don't know whose regular game jerseys are worse, so in thise case, it's an improvement.

whoop-de-doo another team with a black alternate uniform... how original. Let's see... bengals, cardinals, steelers, falcons, saints, jets, lions, eagles, 49ers... I'm sure somewhere another team has done it.

What season as a fan do you wish 2022 avenges for you?
Homey D. Clown replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
All of them. seriously. Other than the seasons that ended in titles before I was born, all of them. These hasn't been a season that didn't end in apathetic disappointment, or soul crushing misery. Win a champoinship already, dammit. -
If you thought the doubters were gone...they're not.
Homey D. Clown replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really enjoyed watching Shannon destroy himn in that clip. -
I was there... will never get it out of my head. In our parts, we refer to it as "The Music City Mistake" As far as any decisions they made that day regarding the pooch kick, let's keep in mind there was 16 seconds on the clock, and clearly the Bills have found ways to lose games with much less time on the clock than that.

Tyreek Hill says Tua is more accurate than Mahomes
Homey D. Clown replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
What else is he going to say? even Tua knows he's full of crap. -
CB Depth, Pass rush pressure, lack of a dominating ground game. Just look at the KC playoff game. The defense had none of that, and the offense was pedestrian on the ground.

apparently you don't need the dish to get the ticket, you can get it from their streaming service now. I have decided a couple of years ago to just get NFL gamepass, go do stuff during the acrual game, then watch it right afterward. you can hide final scores on the NFL app and fact forward through all the BS for 99 bucks, or watch the condensed game.

Let’s give Antonio Brown some Million Dollar love.
Homey D. Clown replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, he's not wondering, he knows damn well why. -
Just saying... Jim Schwartz is out there looking for DC job
Homey D. Clown replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm going to go out on a limb here with you and agree that for whatever reason, this defense never looked like a #1 defense to me, especially against good teams. I know they looked great at times, just not when it really mattered the most. -
So it's the Washington Commanders now?
Homey D. Clown replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently you missed the part where I said "fine, I'll concede that one". I get called ethinic terms from the past that just don't offend me because, well, I am an adult. I think what everyone just can't handle is the context in which it's being used. Terms that were used 30 -40 years ago considered to be fine then many people get all bunched up about today. I not only choose not to, but have the intellectual awareness to understand context. apparently many do not. If you have been playing along with my other responses to others willing to have a civil discussion, you'd find that I am actually OK with the name change which was not immediately apparent in my first post. -
So it's the Washington Commanders now?
Homey D. Clown replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
How many people were surveyed in 2020? Where were their respective geographies? Were all the people surveyed located in California? I would really question the sample populous as a consensus of ALL native Americans must then feel this way. Sorry, but very pointed surveys to generate a foregone conclusion seems very un-scientific to me. However, if you read my comments, I conceded the name even though the very people I associate with who have an ethnic connection to all of this think it's absolutley preposterous. Go figure... not all people feel the same way. I don't think changing the name was all that bad given it's actual intent, and if some of the population, no matter how minute feel offended, then I agree it was prudent to change the name. what I am trying to say here, is that I actually agree with you based upon my first post, just not in as many words, but to remove a very cool logo along with it was like throwing out the baby with the bath water. If anyone finds a native American logo offensive need to have their heads examined. I will stand firm there. For example, as I said in a differnt post.. Mutual of Omaha changed their logo from a Native American to a lion, What the Actaul EFF for? Karens... that's why. That to me was an insult at its worst level. -
I watched the Bucs playoff game with a buddy of mine who is a huge Bucs fan and we both kinda felt like you could tell that was going to be his last game. He looked done. If you can watch that game on gamepass or something you'll see a look, or expression on his face that I'v enever seen before. It was like he was just worn out. Actually, the more I think of it, Jim Kelly had a similar look on his face after the loss to the Jags. It was obvious Jim was done and had nothing left in the tank.

Should Something Be Done To Fix The Pro Bowl?
Homey D. Clown replied to ndirish1978's topic in The Stadium Wall
making the playoffs has nothing to do with positional player excellence. It's really geared around individual player performance regardless of injury status, and for those reasons I don't think it's broken. Where I think it's broken is how they have made a joke out of the game with all these changes. I was far more inclined to watch it when it was after the superbowl, I don't know why that was for me, but I haven't watched it one time since they changed that alignment. -
Anyone who has known me on here for some time knows I am no homer with my opinions, and tend to lean on the cynical, but I am here to defend scoring both the touchdown and going for 2. 1. We've seen bigger leads disappear in our favor with less time on the clock in the past (see 77 second miracle), so if there's a chance, you bury that possibility. 2. the Bills have been struggling this year mightily on 2 point conversions, and you have a chance to practice one in live game action where more points means harder for the opposition to orchestrate their own miracle comeback, you take that opportunity every time in my book. All I saw there was a team making sure there was absolutely NO chance of a comeback.
