  1. too bad you weren't born with 3 middle fingers, I'd send one each to Miami, one to Jerry Jones, and one to Bi-Tom Brad-ichick
  2. lets face it, selfish players just aren't very likable, so it wouldn't bother me if he blew chunks, and I make no apologies for feeling that way.
  3. We do have a great looking team on paper...
  4. This is a good thread, it's cool to see what people think across multiple decades... I'll go with my top 5 in order of what they meant to me: 5. Opening day game against the Jets 1986 - Jim Kelly's first game, and the expectations were so high the city was about to explode 4. 2000 revenge game against the Titans, I haven't been that amped up for a rematch in my life, I was at the Music City Mistake game 3. 1990 win over the Broncos... within 77 seconds that game changed completely, and I thought for sure it was a loss. 2. 51-3 dismantling of the Raiders 1. Bills - Oilers 1993 playoff game - self explanatory, greatest game I have ever watched. I'm sure not many will put a Bills loss on their lists, but that 1986 opener was electric, you couldn't calm your heart down just thinking about what Jim Kelly was going to do for that team.
  5. it's pretty easy to see this really isn't a debate, he was good, but more than likely done, and the team has bigger issues to address in other areas to take a flyer on...
  6. Scheduled on my DVR too, Thanks!!
  7. You should have posted that in your own Byrd thread...
  8. I am very confident we will be only as good as our record will indicate...
  9. Radical as it may seem, but when an NFL team finds out one of it's players has signed with this guy, I am suggesting they should bench said player if he is any good. You might as well get used to not having the guy on your team, and why not sooner than later? It would allow the next guy up some valuable playing experience, because he'll need it. as hard as it is to type this, I am quite confident Jairus Byrd's days as a Bill are in the past. He is now asking to be the highest paid safety in the league.... and that just seems a little extreme. I love the guy, but I never thought he was the best in the game, and I attribute that lofty view of his talents a direct result of his agent.
  10. the Music city Mistake - hands down. I was there and had to walk to my car with all those Titans douchebags in my face. And yes, it was a forward lateral....
  11. Byrd's agent is an extortion artist, and I think everyone needs to get used to the idea that you'll probably not see him play another down for Buffalo.
  12. You're new here it seems, but I like your thinking.... as a matter of fact, I have said that very thing on several occassions... 'Lil donte always seems late to the play, out of position, and generally looking lost. To the OP: Antoine Winfield Pat Williams all time top 2 And Poz... also should not be included in this... an average, to below average linebacker. this should be based on actual high caliber free agent departures, not big name departures.
  13. This time before training camp is as painful as watching the turf grow at RWS...
  14. That was a good read, I voted for Kenneth Davis and Peerless Price.
  15. He's an amazing player, probably one of the best 1st round selections in (recent) team history.
  16. He is such a clown....
  17. I voted 4-6 realistically, but I do see the potential to win 8 or 9 if the defense plays like I am hoping it does.
  18. Not being too picky here, but google some pics of OJ trying on the gloves and see how skinny he was. I think we all forget that during that trial, OJ had withered to a shell of himself while he was in custody.
  19. truer words have never been spoken my friend....
  20. Monday, October 12th 1981 Bills Vs. Dolphish was the first time I was allowed to stay up late to watch MNF with my Dad, then against the Washington redskins at home was my very first game, my Dad took me, we won 21-14, and from then on the Bills were a part of my life. I started clipping every Bills picture in the paper and taping them to my wall. I did that religiously till the helmet change.
  21. The guy promotes gun safety and is a licensed peace officer in Texas, this story is total garbage.....I think it's time for the media to back off they guy.
  22. nope. Been there in the past, and I'm not in my 20's anymore.
  23. Sounds about right to me.... 2- 10 simply because of the total restructure.
