  1. Fair enough.... But I still think Tarvaris Jackson was never going to improve the situation in any way. I don't have an answer beyond the additional bad QB decisions though, so keeping the guy couldn't possibly have made things worse...
  2. or it tells you a tale of a team playing from behind.
  3. I honestly wasn't. You can just tell there's just way to little experience on the offensive side of the ball for this team to win more than 6 games this year, and if you look back, I originally projected 5. I cited lack of depth on offense, no experience at the key positions, and new schemes on both sides of the ball. That's really not a stretch prediction though when you look at what's been unfolding this year...
  4. Hard to argue with this, but given the fact the kid has not really seen much NFL action, I am sure he'll see his reads were probably there more often than not, and game speed overwhelmed him. I agree with you though he should have owned his mistakes, rather than sluff them off.
  5. Please tell me this is a typo. How on earth was that a bad decision? seriously, with logic, please explain that to me so I can understand how cutting a never has been QB was a bad move.
  6. i have always hated the blue pants. one of the worst uniform combinations of all time, with the exception of any combination of the Titans and Jaguars. those 2 teams are aweful no matter what combination they put together. Blue pants = 70's losers.
  7. I have been screaming for Easley for weeks now, the guy is all over the field on special teams, and he looked very solid in preseason.
  8. I also caught him on WGR this morning, and I think he's exactly what this team has needed for years. I really like the guy and hope he builds a winning tradition around here for many years to come.
  9. Nothing against having eternal optimism, but 7 wins would be a victory for this team right now, they are going to have a legitimate shot next year, but right now it's not realistic to think this team can make the playoffs when they don't have anyone at QB right now. EJ will grow, he will win some cool victories the rest of the way, but the reality is that he is a rookie, the receiving corps are just too fragile right now, and the defense is doing all it can just to keep games close. I won't be disappointed about this season, I have seen a real shift in attitude and i love the coaching staff, but playoffs just aren't realistic.
  10. I've been a Bills fan for more than 35 years, and unfortunately I did have something else to do, so I couldn't watch, but followed the game on my mobile app. I could care less what other people say, and I think you need to calm it down a bit. It is a sport, it is a pasttime, but after 13 years of some of the most gut wrenching losses, coupled with some seriously humiliating defeats, how could you not "understand this" ? you clearly missed my point, as I was describing how I felt this game would go, and predictably, it did. If you look at my entire post, I was quite accurate in the point I was trying to make, and we didn't have enough fire power to keep up with the saints, and the game got away from them. Saw it coming, predicted it, then it happened. To your point, I don't only watch the games I think they can win, I watch as many as I can, and go to away games as often as possible, so true to your word you couldn't possibly understand in any way shape or form. What I posted was an expression, and was said figuratively. Lets not fly off the handle and go judging someone else's loyalty.
  11. This game is going to be hard to watch, simply because it really has the potential to be a massacre, or an agonizing loss. We simply aren't healthy enough on the offensive side of the ball to really be competitive. I hope I am wrong, but my gut tells me this is one of those games I need to read about monday morning, rather than live through.
  12. What's more interesting is that Brady Quinn is so colossally bad that he's not even an option. I thought that kid was going to be good too.
  13. This past week at the Bill backers bar here in Nashville, you could actually see the difference on the field. After Miami came back to take the lead, even the fans didn't have the same sense of panic, like "here we go again". Everyone a quiet confidence that the team would pull it out. Then, Freddie had the best gut check run of all time for the franchise, and you just knew these aren't the same old Bills. Now that's not to say I think we're going to go into New Orleans and bang out a win no problem, but I like their chances this year over any other team this franchise has fielded in the last decade.
  14. You forgot Bruce Mathison.... How DARE YOU!!!!
  15. They also picked up a very capable, and pro bowl caliber QB in Alex Smith. They also now have a healthy Jamal Charles, so while I love what Andy Reid has done for the Chiefs, C.B makes a very good point. That team had some of the worst head coaches in the last couple of years, making Dick Jauron look like a smarty pants.
  16. I really thought JP Losman was going to develop. Now he did develop... into a turnover machine, but that wasn't what I had envisioned after the '06 3000 yard season.
  17. Kansas City isn't blowing anyone out right now, but I am all but locking in a loss to new Orleans. There's just no consistency right now on offense, if there was, the Miami game would have been a 31 -10 ish victory.
  18. Russ Brandon will be the sole reason for the demise of the Bills as a franchise in Buffalo. When I see a less than half full stadium in Miami, a very large market team, I had to wonder why on earth don't they have to play games in toronto... because Russ the Maroon Brandon isn't running them.
  19. I'd ease into it by streaming the WGR broadcast, then if we win, sprinkle in some tablet game feeds...
  20. Now it's never OK in my mind to hit a woman, but in this video, a scuffle occurs, the Jets fan gets pushed back, then charged at and attacked by the Pats girl. He pushes her off him, then punches her in the face. do you just stand there and let yourself get mauled by the girl? I'm not saying what he did was OK, but I have seen some women get pretty violent in crowd fights because they generally know they won't be retaliated against. at some point something has to be done about game day violence, it's getting out of hand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=5DtJ6A0LDA0
  21. you missed my point... we didn't dominate Miami.
  22. HAHAHA!!! or too much Foot-age!!!
  23. You need to start watching more games then... it's different for everyone.
  24. they're not going to trade him, simply because there's not enough footage on him this year.
