  1. Living in tennessee, i can tell you very bluntly, hell no. the guy vanished from the playing field, and was easy to remove from games. to his credit he has a whole lot of quit in him though. we have enough under-producing WRs on the team. Pass.
  2. I don't see why not, he is very promising if he's there, but I doubt he will be. Just because EJ was drafted last year doe snot mean the Bills are all set, not by a long shot. Even if you draft Bortles, and both QBs develop into quality NFL caliber players, is that not a good position to be in?
  3. he looked exactly as I remembered him here in Buffalo last night. Dancing behind the line and losing 2-3 yards every other carry. Sorry people, Marshawn is just a passenger on the seattle superbowl bus. I am so tired of all the whiney threads about how we lost this chump, when in reality, we've had the distinct pleasure of watching Fred Jackson the last several years. Holy son of a motherless goat how can people not just move on already.
  4. the position Ralph Wilson has put the city of Bufflao in by not trying to sell the team to someone that would be dedicated to keeping the team here, I would be more supprised that our team didn't move than anyone else. I know it's really hopeful that other teams seem like a possibility, but nothing makes me feel comfortable anymore, and I really despise ralph wilson for not making some sort of concession about the future of this team. There WILL be a team in LA, this is not about what the fans will support, it's about selling advertising in one of the largest TV markets in the nation. Once you see it for what it is, you'll be able to see why more than one team will play there. Roger Goodell and the NFL could care less about you the measley fan. It's not negativity here, just the truth hidden in plain sight. Do you think that selling LESS tickets to a smaller stadium in toronto had anything to do with expanding the fanbase in any way, shape or form? Please tell me people really don't buy into that steaming pile of **** that russ brandon has been brainwashing you with, it's about canada's largest TV market. That's the bottom line. Kid yourself if you want, bash me if it makes you feel like a tough guy, but the truth is there right in front of you. It makes it harder and harder to enjoy games when the greed has gotten to this level.
  5. Maybe they should consider playing at least one superbowl game a year in toronto, since they can't sell out the game in the winter months... It's just not a viable market.... right Russ?
  6. I thought he looked moronic, and an embarrassment to the NFL as a whole. A real classless Douche. And not just a single Douche, but a whole bag of 'em.
  7. 60 pages for a guy who will more than likely be bagging groceries in 2 years time.... good grief!
  8. stupid show, stupid idea, and i hope it gets cancelled before that mess ever makes it to the Bills.
  9. The 2nd coming of Jerry Rice.... err The bills Front office's biggest mistake in 2013... err.... no... I mean Da'Rick Rogers... yeah that's it, his stats from the game: 0 Catches, 0 yards. time to close thread, this nonsense has gone on long enough.
  10. No, we give him full credit for running a franchise at just above .400 winning percentage after 53 complete seasons. and to the O.P. - We got 2 draft picks for an average running back that seems to run into more people than any running back I have ever seen. Enough of the marshawn lynch nonsense, he only looks good because they have a very good offensive line and a very good QB. When he was here, he averaged just less than 4 YPC, was a moron, and in all honesty, was nowhere near a better player than Fred Jackson. I don't care what he does for the rest of his career, I think Fred jackson alone should be the answer to your question, we got Fred Jackson to watch the last few years instead of that idiot, and Fred has played at a near league MVP at times, where Marsha has had a fancy run here and there. so to sum up: We got to enjoy Fred Jackson instead of a brainless thug.
  11. Based on what I have seen, Spiller needs to spend time learning to run routes, or watching old film of Thurman Thomas to get a feel for where he needs to be in the passing game to become more effective. I love the idea, and think he is capable of doing it, he's just not quite there yet.
  12. very true, and most would say that they held all the cards, since even an unproven Rivers would have brought draft picks.... this is really a win- win.
  13. You can regionalize the team without giving away home field advantage. If russ Brandon was such a marketing genius(he's not), then he could figure out a better way to bring people to the games. maybe he should... I don't know..... try to put a better product on the field, then maybe sell some luxury boxes to toronto based businesses, or HEY! I know! Sell the stadium naming rights like every other frickin franchise, which generates more money than what they're being paid to give away home games. the reality of this abomination was to test toronto's viability of supporting the NFL so that when Ralph passes it would be easier to move the team there. that's the bottom line. I have also posted that very thing... I contested that they folpped the next week because of that stupid game.
  14. And just like San Diego, I'd like to see the Bills draft another QB if someone worthy falls to #9. That's not giving up on EJ, that's drafting for the possibility he isn't the answer. almost every other position in all of pro sports are like that and QB should be no different. San Diego was then in position do get some draft picks since Drew had value. A smart GM should see that as opportunity.
  15. Looks like we'll have the worst special Teams unit for at least another year...
  16. it never gets old bashing Aaron Maybin, man his rap song was stupid...
  17. this thread really isn't about Da'Rick Rogers at all. It's really a thread about how bad the front office is, and while I think normally this team misses on a lot of talent in years past, I think it's safe to say that any scrub receiver could do what Rogers has done so far, which isn't much by the way, due to Andrew Luck being the QB. Lets also note that the team has a better offense, so the law of averages just about guarantee he'd look better in Indy. now it's time to /thread.
  18. i enjoyed your usage of the word douchebag very much.
  19. Living in Nashville I am privy to the local sports chat, and they don't see Andy as the second coming of Jesus Christ like most people on this board who think it was a massive blunder to lose him. In fact, they thought he played well below average most of the time and got shoved around a lot. so I think it's time to let this free agent loss fade away, it wasn't entirely bad.
  20. I don't have any confidence that russ brandon will make the right decision in the end... since he's such a marketing genius, and the best idea he could come up with was this abomination of a series, rather than sell stadium naming rights, advertising to large Canadian corporations that do business in the states, or even sell a luxury box or two to those said businesses, I doubt he will end this misery.
  21. I was at the #1 coldest game of all time on that list. My friend's Dad lent us his stadium bags.... anyone who ever shpped at AM&As during the 60's knows what stadium bags are...
  22. I heard somewhere that Kay Stephensen wanted back into the NFL...
  23. I hate the blue pants...
  24. I did feel like the pre-draft guessing was lazy, given the fact they almost could care less on who we picked, but I actually watched as much footage as I could get my hands on before the draft, even watching 4-5 complete games played by Barkley and nassib, just to see for myself, then once the bills drafted EJ, watched as much footage I could find on him as well, and my eyeball test told me that Nassib looked way more NFL game ready, while EJ looked like the superior physical talent, making deeper throws with much less effort, but I still didn't think any of them were 1st rounders by a long shot. As for other comments about Coughlin not playing him, or even evaluating him, that's a little nonsensical, given they have a 2 time SuperBowl champion on the roster, that's kind of a no brainer. And as for the Bills passing on hime the rest of the draft, I just don't think the front office wanted to spend more than one pick on a position when the team had so many open holes to fill everywhere else.
