  1. Great News... Britt left Buffalo without a contract. Hopefully that doesn't change. We really dodged a bullet there... (not sarcasm) (at all) I think he sucks.
  2. Ummmm... the Jets signing Vick would be helpful, put down the Madden 2005. The guy is a garbabe QB that only performed well on playstation. Also, If the Bills sign Britt, the guy doesn't even make it out of training camp. He blows massive chunks of talentless chowder. I live here in Tennessee and can vouch. Knowshawn could run the ball BECAUSE defenses had to respect Manning, that's the only years in which he ran well. I strongly feel that he'll flop in Dolphag town. The sky is not falling here.
  3. with any luck they will sign him so we get to face a crappy, below average QB in our own division. Fingers crossed!!!
  4. Easley led all receivers in preseason with regards to catches and yards, how about letting the guy play a game or 2 at, ohhhh I dunno.... receiver. If he can't cut it, he has become a special teams leader, nothing wrong with that.
  5. +1 on this. There is no indication this team has a capable QB on it's roster right now. If it were any other position, WR, TE, LB to name a few, everyone else on this board would want one of the top 3 in round 1. But since it is expected by the extremists around here that we must accept that we have our franchise QB already, without seeing so much as a glimmer of proof, and we have to do so with roughly 10 games played in a rookie season.
  6. good teams sign good, relevant free agents.... bad teams do what the Bills do.
  7. Moderators please lock, this subject has been discussed ad-nauseum in 2011.
  8. sorry, but Pozlusny doesn't belong in your list. unless you want a tackling machine that only functions 9 yards down the field.
  9. I really can't wait for this team to have a franchise QB, only so that the FA QB threads would subside for just a few offseasons...
  10. I believe I already won this in my earlier post...
  11. This is how business is done when players aren't represented by a greedy mega douche-bag.
  12. Our numbers for 2013 are a total for 15 games brainiac. Add in a theoretical 8th home game to those numbers and you'll see where they really fall. It's not great, but at least it's better than what that report states.
  13. And russ was quoted as saying that the Bills will incorporate all sorts of media exposure for the Rogers group and increase visibility through a canada center, and more advertising. Hmmmm...... That philosophy just sounds strangely familiar to me, I wonder where i could have possibly heard that before........... No..... wait...... let me get it......... OHHHHHhhhhhhh yes..... that's right, silly me.... I posted such comments here over the last 6 years to the tune of somewhere around 47,316 times. I'm glad the marketing genius finally read one of them. look in my post history and you'll find probably half of what I post was a reply to that effect lol. That or defending my position on the crappi-ness of Micheal Vick, or how I'd take Freddy Jackson over LeastMode. I know this abomination isn't dead yet, and I'm sure they're just taking a break while they build some steam, but for now I will enjoy this one. I'll put my feet up on my foot stool, cross my legs, fold my hands behind my head and with as much smugness I can muster, repeatedly say "I told you So"
  14. No, I think Aaron Williams could very well fill Byrd's shoes, I think a lot of us around here are quietly hoping he does. We don't want to splash it around the board too much in fear of any negative recourse in saying so, or upsetting the football gods in a way that ruins Aaron's career, but we're thinking it...
  15. There is no "New Era" - 6-10 and the stupid toronto arrangement was our clue. Ralph selected Russ because he is his puppet, and wouldn't do anything to disrupt the continuity Ralph has had going for the last 15 years. Why change anything when one of the smallest markets in the NFL is in the top half of attendance year in and year out? It's a profitable business with little risk, even less investment by the owner, and we keep watching, like something might change. The Jim Kelly era was a fluke, and the franchise is moving closer and closer to dropping below .400 winning percentage all time and closing in on the league's worst overall winning percentage over the life of it's existence. I have been embarrassed to say I am a Bills fan for so long, I really don't care anymore what people say, I used to get so pissed about the superbowl jokes, now I just agree and walk away. I love this team, don't get me wrong, and I'll watch them right up until some billionaire schmuck moves them to "DoucheBag-ville" in california, and we have to watch the trucks roll out of town as good 'ol Ralphie-poo rams it to us one last time.
  16. Bills - $0.00 for 0 Years. He will not play another down in a Bills Uniform.
  17. Nope. He has accomplished nothing in his career, has performed at a sub-par level everywhere he has ever gone. If our offense needs to be built around a guy who can't hit open receivers, can't read defensive schemes, and generally has no ability to check down from the #1 read, then yes, you are correct, he would be a great QB for that mess.
  18. Next up... alex Carrington... he's also represented by that miserable douche. Bench him, and let him go elsewhere, I don't see any reason to waste time developing players that have an agent that doesn't put any value on anything other than his commission.
  19. Now I'm depressed... and I can't even bring myself to even read a Sabres article either... This really does have to be the worst era in Buffalo sports history.
  20. I would have voted for Ritchie, and a HELL NO on Martin.
  21. Nope. I heard that Dallas has hired a new cafeteria caterer, and NFL Network has 24/7 around the clock breaking coverage. From where I sit, it looks like they have also gotten ESPN to join them in their quest to wear Jerry Jones as a hat.
  22. No... It wouldn't be the same.... Byrd is a GOOD player. Least Mode has about 4 highlight style runs that people around here seem to get a stiffy over.
  23. no chance in hell. When the QB play was good, the team moved the ball very well. I don't see the reason for all the hate towards hackett. Don't forget, if Chan Gailey had a QB that was even marginally better than Fitzpatrick, he'd still be here.
  24. Then what the hell is wrong with the blind squirrel we all root for? He still hasn't found a nut for 14 years...
