I have a hard time blaming hackett, simply because there are all sorts of changes a good QB can make at the line, or audible into a completely different formation all together, EJ does not have the experience to do that, and the OC can't possibly see that from the sideline in the moment. I was neither on, nor was I off the EJ bandwagon, but his accuracy looks a lot like Tebow's accuracy, and that guy is no longer even near a practice squad. I'm not seeing anything different from what's available online from EJs college days, so I'm not sure there is much to be done about his game... he just doesn't look like a pro level QB.

Why I think Marrone should be fired...
Homey D. Clown replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I couldn't have said it better... it seems all of the EJ apologists want to blame hackett, the game plan, and every other facet of the game, when, in fact, it was EJ himself who couldn't hit the ground if he was dropped out of a plane. At one point it was so bad, he nearly got Woods killed again for the 2nd week in a row. Please with some logic how an offensive play that was called results in a poorly thrown checkdown? -
Bills Bench the Wrong Guy
Homey D. Clown replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This HAS to be a troll thread. The offensive play calling was just fine, after re-watching the game, for, well, Freddie Jackson highlights, EJ was beyond terrible. He was so bad on so many plays, it looked like he was doing a Tim Tebow impersonation, and on one pass, he nearly got Woods killed AGAIN, and AFTER he got Goodwin knocked out. All I have to say about this idiotic thread is: Please, you MUST be trolling. -
we drafted EJ because he is a big, strong QB, right?

yeah, I won't criticize the kid for that one, the coaches all have drilled it into him to not take the big hit... -

Aikman 1-15 in his first year.
Homey D. Clown replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just stop. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see that EJ doesn't look reall good right now, and trying to use stats is pointless at best. EJ's accuracy, his REAL accuracy is poor on a good day so far. If you took out dump-off passes from his stats, he's a 30% accurate QB. So quit with the nonsense about aikman going 1-15... you could see he could hit receivers downfield without nearly killing them on every pass back then... -

He never bid on the team with the intention to actually win, I think everyone with any common sense could tell that. He simply bid on the team to get his name, and maybe some pics of his incredibly stupid hair on the internet. -
Oh my goodness, you mean people had the nerve to post some things they didn't like about a Bills loss? And on a Bills forum no less???!!??? The absolute GALL!!! ATTENTION Everyone!!!! ATTENTION everyone!!! - If you have any opinions that don't relay love, adoration, and inspiring optimism for EJ, CJ, the defense, coaches, or any other player with a J in his name, then you are no longer allowed to post your comments in a free and open forum. You will be chastised by those board members who think they are better than you because you have the ability to see things as they are. They feel somehow more evolved and intelligent than you because you aren't all giddy with a loss, and will blast you by telling you to get over it, as they look down their noses. I will be handing out rose colored glasses, and passing out the "Bills are awesome no matter what they do" Cool-Aid at the forum's front door. I will be a posting a "Get Well Soon, We love you EJ, Sammy, Hackett, and Defense" thread where you can send your love and adoration to the team appropriately. You can apologize to the elitists on your own, I made the cool-aid.

Handling the rush wasn't what worried me in this game, and I am not blaming the loss on him, he's technically still a rookie, but when he had time to throw, and when he was rushed, his mechanics looked downright terrible, and his accuracy was very poor. If it wasn't a dump-off, it was very inaccurate. Don't read me his completion percentage, more than 75% of his throws have been check downs, and dump offs, if he can't somehow become more accurate, this team will be no better than all 14 seasons past. I am still neither on, nor am I off the EJ wagon, but he absolutely needs to be more accurate, and the 2-0 start didn't put the glaze on his play for me, and this loss hasn't wiped it off either. When the team faces an opponent that will score some points, he needs to be the one that can respond, and I'm sorry to all those who love to bash people that aren't all giddy about EJ Manuel, but it's just not looking real promising right now. I am more than concerned with his ability to be a factor in a game, and as much as people around here don't like to hear it, he needs to play at a level where he can win games all by himself once in a while, and right now, he can't.

Did he hand you a hockey helmet and point you towards the short bus? -
I won't read it simply because I don't like him. There's a guy in my office that, for the most part is a giant self absorbed douchebag, and occasionally he'll say some things in meetings that I actually agree with, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a douche, or that if I didn't have to sit in the meeting would even listen to his pompous voice. So a douche wrote an article in a news paper that had some facts in it, and maybe a little personal perspective, and it didn't rub you wrong, but overall his usual garbage hasn't made it into this one, we should all applaud him and marvel at his wonderful view? Sorry, I don't care about his perspective because he's a hack, and I could care less about his perspective... since you were making a point to call out people for not wanting to read something written by Jerry.

I've said it in every, single, sullivan thread penned before, so I'll say it again: Sullivan is a useless shitbag who needs to be fired, so once you come to terms with his "springer-like" amateur fodder, you'll realize that when you see his name attached to the article, you'll simply just not read it. How he remains employed at the Buffalo News is one of those all time mysteries, even Nasa scientists concede it's harder to comprehend than the "Big Bang" theory(not the TV show you nerds)

The better he plays, and continues to mature, the more I will like him. Right now, he's playing adequate, but I'm not doing back flips over his performance just yet. I do however like where his confidence is, and I've never been happier with his dedication to improving himself. The Bills won the game, and EJ looked "ok" doing it, but by no means was that a corner turning performance. time will tell, but I'm not on, or off the EJ wagon, I'm quietly hopeful he becomes a great QB, and would be very happy with above average if that meant a playoff or superbowl win.

One game at a time, and with blinders on. Who cares what anyone else says or thinks about this team. as long as you stay focused and do your job, the wins will come. I could care less if we made the playoffs and ESPN had us ranked 20th.

Finally, after seeing the sale of the team unfold, and watching with bated breath, I can finally let out a massive sigh of relief, take a moment and reflect on what Mr. Ralph Wilson Jr. actually had put together for Buffalo one last time. There is no doubt I was a harsh critic of the man for not selling the team while he was still around to an owner who would do the right thing, in a way, ensuring the team's future in Buffalo, but it appears that the plan he put in place did that very thing. I can now understand why he never sold his team; It was HIS team, he built it, and we were all pretty lucky to share it with him. He stood for integrity among the much greedier owners that are now littered across the country in this league, and while we all may not have agreed with how he managed his team, he always took us along for the ride, good, or bad. he loved the game of football, but it seems now after his passing that he really loved the fans and city of Buffalo even more. So, while we embrace the passing of the torch to the team's new owner, I just wanted to take a minute to say Thank You Mr. Wilson, Thank You for loving us when it seems that most of the country couldn't care less. Rest in Peace.

I don't care if they name it Pampers Stadium, as long as they never play another game in toronto. ever. We're one of the very few teams not to have sold the naming rights to our stadium, and I'm sure that chapped a lot of the other 31 Owner's asses. That meant they had to share more money with Wilson. It used to be Rich Stadium, and it actually always has been to me, I still cal it Rich Stadium for some reason. So who cares in the grand scheme of things

No. His devious plan to move the team and just his goofy pics with the Patriots owner alone should keep him banned. -
And meanwhile, ex-Bills around the league

This was a cool post, don't take my responses as any attack on you, I just don't see most if not all of these players as week-old leftovers. Marshawn has a good game every now and then, but seriously, I don't think we lost anything when we have Freddie. I would have loved to see Freddie from day one instead of drafting a player like Marshawn in 2007. -
YES!! Blue pants are bruttally ugly, and only serve as a reminder of how bad the team was in the 70s. Can't. Stand. Blue. Pants. on this team... the all white Unis look classic, clean and represent the team very well with all the subtle stripes N stuff. Blue pants = loser team.
