Trade EJ Manual for Colt McCoy!
Homey D. Clown replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're delusional if you think EJ will do anything more than hold a clip board. -
Rex: "I got 2 crappy QBs that couldn't hit the ground if they fell out of a plane, what else am I supposed to do?" Marrone: "I like what you did there with the plane reference... nice..." Rex: "What? ... Ohh yeah... I meant that..."

Geno's passer rating was 0.0...

for a player to be washed up, they would have had to be good at some point in their careers. Micheal Vick's 52% lifetime completion percentage would suggest otherwise. -
No Pettine, Kiko, or Byrd ... No problem
Homey D. Clown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you see what you had in Byrd now that he's gone. An opportunistic player when it came to interceptions, but very possibly not such a great safety from a scheme perspective. It's funny how the team got instantly better when they dumped 'Lil donte, and now the Byrd is gone, they seem to be even better. Also, the blitz happy Pettine was a step in the right direction, but maybe what we had last year with him as as good as it was going to get. If anything this year, I love our defense this year, it has been a show to watch. -
Rex jumps in on Sammy's conference call

So what are you trying to say? -
Hackett is bad, like very bad
Homey D. Clown replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Someone please explain to me how you use a running back who fumbles frequently, gets injured often, and is in a slump right now better. Please tell me HOW. I'm tired of this **** getting posted every single week, month, year. Maybe CJ needs to learn how to be patient with his gaps, and be a more consistent runner. Blaming anyone else is mindlessly stupid. The Hackett hate is completely a waste of time to even discuss, if the team's offensive line was performing better, execution would also be up, and the hackett hate would cease... well, who am I kidding...this forum will hate just about anything at the drop of a dime. -
So are the all white uni's at home a thing now?
Homey D. Clown replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
love the all whites...The team looks like a first class franchise in all whites. I don't mind the blue jerseys... but the blue pants = miserable 70s loser teams. -
embarrassing thread.

yes. It won't happen, but yes.

I agree with this completely, anyone expecting Orton to be a pro bowl QB will always be disappointed, but there's no doubt he's far better than Manuel. He's not the long term answer, but until they draft a good QB, he's the best option on the team. I think people are not taking into account that the guy just walked in off the street a few days before the last preseason game and didn't play much at that. for someone brand new to this team and offense, he's thrown for 600 + yards and 4 TDs in just 2 games. He looks pretty confident, and seems to be pretty accurate when he has time.

That's probably the most concise and well thought out comment I have read on the stadium issue ever written on this board.... I agree completely too, but I need to go lie down for a while, I wasn't expecting logic on this board before my second cup of coffee! It really is my favorite place to watch a game, and I really think I'd say that even if I wasn't a Bills fan...

Maybe his Piss-Poor product on the field is just not that important to him, so he invests a lot of energy in side show freaks, and clown acts to keep the 38,000 attendees happy... He's just jealous in reality, just walk through the tunnels to your seats and tell me you don't feel like Jim Kelly in those NFL films making his way to the battle field, it sends chills down my spine just typing this. Ralph Wilson Stadium has always been the best venue from a fan perspective, I've been to more than a dozen other stadiums and they pale in comparison. The worst place I've seen a game? Dallas. It's like walking through a mall that just happens to have a game going on. lame beyond the term lame.

Yes he can, and outright, as long as both teams are within the same sports market. What is not allowed is owning major league sports teams in competing markets. so Terry could own the Vancouver Canuks and the Bills, but not, say, the Detroit Red Wings and the Bills, because of the NFL presence in the Detroit market. There's a good article on the details of this somewhere on the interwebz, I don't remember where I read it in detail, wish I had saved the link.

EJ and Spiller for Geno and a First Rounder
Homey D. Clown replied to rfk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would you trade a decent running back, and a QB for a Sh1ttier QB? Troll thread. -
1. Least Mode - Very fitting for a guy that seems to make one play a game that generates more man-love on this board that a pamela anderson sex tape. 2. Cap'n Checkdown 3. JP Lostman 3. Aaron Maybi-not 4. Fitz-Tragic - The amish Trebuchet(he does not have a rifle) 5. Buddy Nix Opening day Phrase, re-worded: "Show me the Maybe" 6. Skeletor - (Dick jauron) 7. Jairus Tyrd 8. Opponents nick-names: Miami Dolphags, New Jersey Jest, NE PayToilets, Titsburgh Feelers, Kansas City Chefs, Indianapolis Dolts, Cleveland Brown-Notes(or alternately the cleveland Steamers), Baltimore Maybin(the use of maybin as an adjective for insanely bad play), New Jersey Gnats, Green Bay Fudge-Packers, Washington Dead-Skins. They're not all great, but thats what gets thrown around when we play those teams in my deranged circle of friends...

Good analysis, I think that most of the hackett hate comes from the EJ fanbase. I think Hackett is a pretty good playcaller, and with better execution now at the QB position, over time this will be more apparent. CJ has been a vicitm of situational playcalling, and it appears that defenses are immediately ready for him when he's in there. Freddie is such a dual threat that things tend to open up more for him. When Spiller is in there, defenses know to shut doan all the running lanes. I just re-watched the Detroit game last night, and when spiller was in the game, they loaded the box with as many as 8 defenders, they know he is going to get it. How to fix that? For Spiller, he needs to be a better passing weapon, and through no fault of his own, be in the game for a higher percentage of total plays, but you'd have to take away plays from Freddie, and I'll tell you right now, I don't think there's a Bills fan on the planet that wants to see less of Fred Jackson.

Report: Jim Harbaugh will not be back in SF in 2015
Homey D. Clown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Transform him into what? Alex didn't have the same problems EJ currently possesses. I think EJ is a great kid, I really do, but this is no different than trying to fix JP Losman. You can't coach instincts, JP was a turnover machine, and EJ looks very much the same. I think this team would benefit from finally cutting ties with players when it becomes clear the talent isn't there to compete. -
Eric Wood fires back at Jerry Sullivan
Homey D. Clown replied to 5 Wide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some day people will stop giving a **** what a giant douche(sullivan) has to say about anything. Until then, this bag of **** will continue to have a job, when it's clear he shouldn't -
Troll thread. Are you, or are you not aware of the last 2 teams the Bills played happen to have the league's best front 4's? Or did you not factor that into your fact-less observation...

I hate to be a downer but ... Robert Woods ....
Homey D. Clown replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry, who are you watching? Woods is one of the better downfield blockers at the WR position.
