  1. As long as I've been a fan of this team, I've never pined after other team's douchey players at any time.
  2. At first I was all set to shout at you for posting a troll thread, but the question is valid, and this wasn't a fanboy attempt to stir the shitpot. so, to honestly answer your question, no. There's not a QB in the league that could have performed well in the games where this offensive line looked like they were the walking dead, and I can't think of a game the Bill lost that tyrod could have improved the outcome. some might say the Houston game, but I contend that it was Tyrod that held this team back last year, not the reason they won 9 games. His lack of pocket skills and inability to push the ball down the field got him shipped off to that dumpster fire in clevelend where he quickly lost the starting job, just like he should have. Now, where your statement is categorically false is the "carbon copy" statement. Not only does the defense have a completely new look and feel to it with a lot of newer stronger talent, but the offense alone lost 3 of their best linemen, and the WR position had only 1 full time receiver return. Zay Jones was an intermittent starter. Totally different roster at key positions on offense. 5-6 wins with Tyrod at QB this year, with Allen learning as he goes, or with any luck that Barkley keeps performing the way her did, 6-8 wins. they were not a real playoff team last year, lets not kid ourselves, Tyrod was downright terrible in sustaining drives all year. Happy he was sent off.
  3. ok, that's just funny.
  4. I haven't been one who's lost sight of the process McDermott is driving towards. The defense alone is proof of that. The offense, and Benjamin specifically have been apocalypticly bad. After losing most of what was good about the offensive line during the offseason, my hopes and expectations were very low, but at no point did I think McDermott and Beane were to blame, that was a natural disaster type hit to take.
  5. What do you mean, "find a way". That will happen regardless. If anyone thinks there's another win on that schedule, please send me what you';re on. I've never seen a more inept offensive line, wide receiver group, and offensive coordinator on all my life. Such a sad thing to see the defense we have wasted on such a group of Bums, especially Benjamin, he's flat-out garbage, of the sun-baked and hot variety.
  6. Sullivan was and still is a "jerry Springer" hack with no real ability to provide anything more than pot-stirring garbage. The only thing that was atrocious was how long it took for him to be fired.
  7. Wait... you're telling me a journeyman sub 500 QB at the age of 35 isn't planning a long term career in Buffalo? did anyone pass this news-breaker off the the Buffalo News for a deep dive cover story?
  8. What can I ca, that's my Bills "Blue Pants" font. Ohh no, now I'm obsessing over how much I hate the blue pants. must find whiskey.
  9. He's the only option they have, it's that simple. But, there's no doubt he was the clear-cut best QB through the off-season, and it's head scratching to see how badly he's played in live action. McDermott will find another option I have no doubt in that, but when he does that is the bigger question. Off topic a bit, but I don't care how much Josh struggles, I still think he's going to prove me wrong and turn out great. Keep playing him if he's healthy.
  10. I can't say this enough. People who follow this team are sick of the losing. People around here are sick of the losing.
  11. The chiefs defense is embarrassing, but then again the Chiefs are winning games. I'd rather have wins, but our defense is downright awesome to watch. I am going to have to disagree with your sentiment that most of the yardage against the Chiefs is during garbage time, unless garbage time starts in the 1st quarter. All I can part with is; enjoy the post season, we'll be watching your team
  12. I never thought for a second that 25 years would pass without another superbowl appearance. That actually made my head hurt.
  13. Not surprised they signed anyone, they give up stupid amounts of yardage and are pretty depleted.
  14. No, we got rid of Tyrod because he is a very limited passer. Josh was a developmental passer that needed to be thrown into the starting role, nobody knows yet where his ceiling is. To expect exponentially better from a rookie is just silly.
  15. There were definitely outstanding moments during the game, and outstanding players and schemes, but the game itself was not. It was, however, very satisfying. I have nothing to complain about other than a weak passing game and a few receivers that seem to be mailing it in. I'm not sure at this point what to think of this team, but I really do like the head coach and Josh Allen, they both have guts. Will I pick them over Houston? This is the first week I really don't know.
  16. I think he's getting a little gun-shy due to a lack of receiver separation and the familiarity of what he's seeing from the defense. Seriously don't think he's hurt, given his mobility throughout the game.
  17. ahhh...(bolded in red) no, I meant carry on by calling out the "quick to criticize" constituent around here... no doubt we're all a little frayed from all the losing.
  18. Nowhere did I say I want people to have patience. I simply don't agree with the crucification of a QB or a coach as it happens so quickly around here.
  19. I'm not trying to pick a fight with you, but this team's struggles are probably more disheartening than any other year. We've been waiting for 2 decades to see an improvement, and this year has ripped the guts out of this fanbase, especially when the team really does have a very good head coach. If you were calling out the people who are instantly ripping the coaching staff already, or that Josh Allen isn't good , then I retract my poke at you, and say, carry on my friend.
  20. I almost disagreed with you, until I stopped being lazy and read your second paragraph. It's so hard to imagine a worse scenario for Beldsoe to succeed with the moves they pulled. Drafting a solid tackle with the picks they had could have made all the difference.
  21. After 20 years of soul crushing, vomit inducing seasons, can you really blame anyone? If you remove the Jim Kelly seasons, this team is statistically worse than the Washington Generals. I'll accept your post as a statement of fact.
  22. False. Aaron Maybin will forever be the biggest bust in sports history. The fact that he had a putrid rap song made about how great he was cannot be beaten.
  23. 31 - 6 Titans. It's not that they are that good, it's that the Bills are that bad.
  24. Welcome to the forum, I live in Tennessee now as a transplant from Buffalo, so I know a bit about how your team is doing. If you're travelling to the game remember one thing.... no.... two things. 1. It's Duffs wings first, every other wing place second, THEN Anchor bar. 2. Consider this a bye week where you get a free W in the win column. Do me a huge favor though, please tell Jared and the GM to move on to discussing the Ravens, there's really no point in murdering local listener's ears on pointless strategy against this Bills team. it's simple, show up and just apply a little pressure on the offensive line and 60 minutes later leave with the W.
