  1. 6'8" 325 lbs. KC 5th pick in 2009 was on Ravens practice squad. Looks like a RT. 25 years old. Scouting Report Assets Possesses great size. Has good instincts, reacts well and is a superb blocker thanks to a powerful lower body. Can fight his way against tough defenders. Flaws Needs to become a more complete lineman up front. Doesn't have the athleticism to counter the pass-rush nor the ability to create openings for the runners behind him. Career Potential Adequate rotation lineman with some starter tools. Awards
  2. The Stratton hit was the biggest. My other favorite .. I think it was McGee that hit Chad Ochostinko and knocked him out of the game and maybe the season. Ochostinko has not been the same since that hit.
  3. ending his streak is nothing to be proud of. Nowif you ended his streak of wins, td passes, etc that's fine but to end a streak by hurting the guy says nothing for us.
  4. Are you slammin Houston? Since the Flutie / Johnson soap opera and the Music City puke, we drafted two franchise QBs (JP & TE), signed two small name QB FA (Holcomb & Fitzy), and traded for one big name QBs (Bledsoe).. The result, no playoffs since god knows when and 3-10. And when we draft a DE/DT, LB and RT in the first three rounds next year we will all be looking at our shoes when we find out FItz isn't the answer.
  5. Actually I like that line.
  6. All of our D linemen and linebackers are learning their position this year.
  7. Deon stated that the bills will be running for the bus and the Jets will be guaranteed of one victory in their last three games. I hope we beat them, ruin their playoff chances and I don't care what draft pick it costs us.
  8. Donald Jones, David Martin, Arthur Moats, Alex Carrington -- new faces we will watch for quite a while. Lynch, Edwards, Green, Ellis -- old faces we won't have to watch anymore.
  9. That's a reach. But this is a situation where the coach should be suspended and the owner fined for the conduct of their team members. Put s stop to this low class crap real soon. Woody Hayes would at least do it himself and not have some low level flunkie take the rap for him.
  10. The jets organization never had any class. the only thing that comes to mind when I think of the Jets is Brian Cox and Mark Gastineau. And now I get mental pictures of Gastineau's tramp daughter.
  11. Somebody please explain to me what Evans brings to the game other than the oft-posted ridiculous comment that he gets double teamed and opens the game up for everyone else because that is not true. Evans sucks, and the sooner the team and the fans recognize that we can all get on with our lives. He is not a #1. He is not a #2. He is hard pressed to be called a #3. I'd much prefer Namaan.
  12. Notice any difference in the Bills offense without this overpaid wash-up in the game? I sure didn't.
  13. It felt like one of the coldest games I was ever at. It had snowed about a foot the night before, it was about 31 degrees at game time. There was an icy rain the entire game. The seats were packed with snow and you could not sit. I don't think I ever felt so cold even when compared to the jets game a few years later when my beer froze in the bottle I was drinking from. We lost tot he Browns forgot who won the Jets game.
  14. He claims it is not a steroid. It was probably a steroid masker but not a steroid. The guy probably can't understand how it found its way into his blood stream.
  15. Bradford is the answer in the NFC West
  16. Draft him and give him a year on the bench. He is Vince Young without the attitude. He is Mike Vick without the dogs, He is Russell without the weight. He is Leaf with a desire to play. He is exciting as all get out.
  17. unfortunately Lee plays half fast
  18. Normal Bills high draft picks are either (a) a bust, (b) they get hurt and miss a lot of games or © turn into average players while better players at that position are drafted later in the same round. Looks like CJ will be a normal high draft pick for us unfortunately. He will either get hurt a lot or he will not live up to expected potential. Horrible to pick #9 and only get a return guy.
  19. He is a big fast white man who hits a ton. Must be on roids.
  20. my thought exactly
  21. You can train a anyone to hold onto the ball, sometimes it takes a little while. Tiki Barber comes to mind as does Adrian Peterson. They lost the ball often for a couple of years, then coaching fixed it. Same can happen with Leodis. And Tiki and AP carried it all the time, Leodis is not an RB and only carries it a couple times a game. Give him another offseason with Gailey coaching him and we will see a big change. Too much talent to keep on the bench for returns. To my eye, he seems much more explosive than Spiller.
  22. Another thing when a team releases a player before the end of a contract (unless like Veke it was injury related) they don't pay out the contract (or do they ?) this whole deal has got me thinking i need to get some kind of job with the NFL if they fire you & still pay you that's a sweet deal !!! If you had a job in the NFL or for an NFL team you would be fired and thrown out on the street. This happened to all of the FO personnel that they teams let go recently because of the economic downturn. Thousands of workers were fired across the league to squeeze out a few more dollars. Those that were fired got minimal severance packages. But some useless slug like Randy Moss can turn in sub par after sub par performance, or Albert H can whine and cry and not try, or Lee Evans does not produce but these guys always get paid. Coaches need guaranteed contracts, IMO, or they would be hired and fired at a more alarming rate than they are.
  23. Yes, it is easier to find a Guard than any other position. Hopefully Urbik can be Woods long term replacement. Get Fairley or one of the stud DE's in Rd 1 and a top Olineman in RD 2.
  24. Only in size does he look like Johnson. In production he looks like Joique Bell.
  25. It is rumored that Goodell warned all teams to stay away from TW. Seems like he doesn't want to deal with potential publicity.
