  1. The KEY Game of the season is 10/02 vs the Bengals. Hopefully coaches, players and management understand that this game is for the rights to draft Andrew Luck and we perform appropriately and mail in a sub par effort. C'mon Dalton should be our cry that day.
  2. Things have been worse for the Bills but this is easily the Lost Decade. We need a slogan like "Bring professional football back to Buffalo!"
  3. A few good blockers and a passing game would help.
  4. Spiller was a top ten pick you have to play him to get him the experience that Jackson already has. You know with Freddy you have one dependable back. Spiller needs playing time. You have to give it to him. You have to play McKelvin too let them work their errors out on the field and gain experience This team is going nowhere for a long time so develop the young guys. Nobody ever learned much by watching. You need the game to slow down for them, to do that they need to be on the field.
  5. Does anyone believe we will get 5 or more wins? This team looks as big mess as any DJ laid on us. Look at the offense: QB average to below average RB Jackson is the only above average player on this offense WR Johnson is average, we will see how he responds to the #1 receiver slot, the rest would not make many NFL teams OTs way below average Gs below average C average TE below average We could pick up to 4 lineman after the last cutdown all of whom could start week one. I am having a difficult time believing we will get 3 wins. At least on defense we now have two legit players, Dareus and Williams, finally Moorman won't be the Best player on the team.
  6. he hasn't played his heart out in over three years. When Baltimore needs him to come through he will drop the big catch.
  7. 1-5 in AFC east is we get lucky.
  8. DJ will have the last laugh when Cleveland lands a wild card spot and we just miss out on Luck with three wins vs Bengals two.
  9. The truth will reveal itself soon enough. But our pass defense is overrated because our run defense is so bad. One has to believe that the pass rush is and will be better with Dareus and Merriman and the emergence of Moats, Batten and Carrington. I thought we would have heard more about Troupe and that the added weight and muscle moved him into starting contention but I haven't heard a word. Can anyone shed some light on his progress. But if we can't stop the power runners, we will get annihilated again this year because the offense doesn't look any better, except on third down with B Smith. Time of possession will average 36 to 24 minutes against us. You rarely win when your defense is on the field.
  10. The lack of ability in our offensive line is glaring. While Wood is solid, Levitre is not holding down his spot, Bell is still a work in project, the right side is a mess. We could enter the first week of the season with two starters that are castoff from other teams and plugged in at the last minute. With the defense getting manhandled by Chicago's power running game this team is looking more like a Dick Jauron team. What happens if Fitz goes down? I am not confident at all with what I am seeing. Taking the under in Vegas on the wins this season.
  11. I say that Leodis makes great strides this year. Aaron learns the game and the two are our starting CBs by year end. They would be our starters for the next 8 years but once their contract is up the Bills decide they cannot pay them going rate and just like all of our other good CBs they sign elsewhere. Clements, Greer, Winfield..... We are nothing more than a farm team.
  12. Which reputation is that? That he quit on this team the last three years ago or the rep from 5 years ago when he was trying to get signed to a big contract?
  13. He is rated around the 65th best receiver. His value is not what it was before he quit on the team. A third round pick and we are doing well. He will go to AZ and play well for three games then will dog it for the rest of his career. He is a quitter.
  14. Isn't the first time offense is just a warning? The players that use steroids also use masking agents, so if you fail once, the chance you have been using a lot are probably around 95%. As for what type of masking agent to use, just ask Lance Armstrong. This is also like saying OJ only murdered two people once, before and after that he didn't murder anyone.
  15. Does he have more than 5 children by different women and is he working his way up to a dozen? If not he is not the running back I want for the Bills.
  16. I agree, there was no way the Bills would have signed this guy after the money his old man stole from Ralph 25 years ago.
  17. Buffalo Bills Motto"s - Mediocrity is No Accident - Play like a Contestant - In Pursuit of Mediocrity - Give it almost everything you can - When you can't beat number one, don't beat anybody
  18. I hope Poz breaks a leg and it mends crooked. Screw him.
  19. Why does everyone refer to the fans as the "victims" of the lockout labor strife? We have been thoroughly entertained watching the greedy owners and pampered players duke it out over $9B of our money that we blow on watching men play a boy's game. This has been much more entertaining than the last ten years of the Buffalo Bills inept attempts at playing prop football and passing themselves off as a pro franchise. Victims in that we haven't had to watch clips of useless 7 on 7 practices which is the only time our team outshines another team, although it is at the expense of our team. We haven't had to endure endless prattle about what a good first step, how he has long arms, how he sets himself up well, how much potential a rookie, first year or second year lineman has and all he needs is experience. Which when he gets that experience in a real game he is thoroughly schooled by an opposing teams veteran player and shows he is still three years away from being an average player. BTW most of the idiots on this board believe the hype they hear about these players during the off season and buy into the notion the Bills are going to be a good team each year. It is all BS, this team still sucks and are still at least 5 players away from fielding just an average player at each position. (assuming Wood moves to center -- TE, RT, RG, LT, 0LB). We truly have a no name team. The only victims in the lockout will be the communities that make money off of training camp. The rest of us have more money in our pocket, been given a very visible insight into a business that is a game watched by the couch potato that they call the American Male who is too lazy to get off his ass on Sunday or most any other day for that matter and go for a bike ride, walk, run, ski, golf, swim, or any other exercise. This has been truly been a victimless event.
  20. When OJ went to jail, even though it wasn't for the double homicide he committed.
  21. Yes, but the owners had no one to blame but themselves for their lack of control.
  22. There would be no one eligible for the draft if we precluded athletes that were paid.
  23. 1. Johnson 2. Spiller 3. Jackson 4. Parrish
  24. Niagara Falls is just what we need with our drunk, suicidal fans. It is the perfect place to go after a tough loss.
  25. Buftek, like your avatar or whatever it is they call those pics My favorite Treme quote is 'You need a job, job Antoine"
