  1. roscoe, florence, spiller, and about 20 other guys should not be kept next year. Spiller is a joke too.
  2. Agree Florence is deplorable.
  3. No one can play QB effectively with a bad offensive line. Ours is so banged up its deplorable. We need veteran depth, we don't have that. Then we need receivers that can run routes more than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage and get open when the do. Then we can find out how good or bad Fitzpatrick is. But we need the first two before we can determine the third.
  4. 1. Does everyone else view cj spiller as another Roscoe? They just never, ever makes a play from the LOS. Never. Roscoe hasn't made one in all his time here and cj just doesn't seem to have the drive to make one. Both may have some speed but they are not burners, both are too small and just never take it to the house except in pre-season. Both wasted picks. 2. McKelvin has been playing better position but he must think his job is done just by being where he should be. He never finishes the play. Who the hell is teaching this kid? He plays like a rookie in awe of the opposition. He needs to get a set of balls. 3. How do you not put a blocker on Ware on the first play? What tape were we studying? 4. Why throw deep to the worst receiver on the team on 4 & 2? 5. Why is Brad Smith always on the bench on 3rd and short and 4th and short? 6. Why is it the 4th quarter before Fred gets his 8th carry of the game and he is averaging 8 yds a pop? 7. I hope Fitz's contract hasn't given him the Lee Evans "Got mine now I am done disease". 8. Stevie should shut up until he puts up. 9. You would think we could get one sack every other game by accident. 10.Florence is toast, just drop him. 11.At least they tried to throw the ball down-field against the cowboys after playing scared against the Jets D. Now if they could complete a deep pass that would be awesome. 12.I think the defense misses Kelsay more than it misses Williams. For all the Kelsay hate, I think he was the stir for the drink in the early going.
  5. Not only that but to the least reliable catcher in the receiving corp, who is also undersized and hasn't been open since his return. I don't know what they see in this guy. At least Namaan and Nelson catch everything thrown their way.
  6. No two quarterbacks can look so good and so bad in the same game. Both have an affinity to blow games against lesser opponents and not utilize their weapons. They both lack that last minute of concentration to put the game away. I don't undertsand it at this level. Norv Turner is the Dick Jauron of offensive minded head coaches. I woud hate for him to be pacing our sidelines, always expecting to lose.
  7. IMO, the times Fletcher made tackles down-field was when he played behind a lousy D-Line. Once he got Fat Pat and Sam in front of him he made plays up-field. Few LBs play great behind mediocre lines.
  8. I can't make it either.
  9. All we need is some DL pressure and both Jets games are ours. Fins stink. Beating the Pats in Foxborough to break their win streak there well can't even think about it.
  10. you would have thought CHan would have learned his lesson after he two sacks at the end of the first half. Why is so hard to just give it to the best running back in the league?
  11. you are all being kind to florence, had it been mckelvin you he would be tarred and feathered by now.
  12. I will put Franks hot Sauce on it and won't mind eating it.
  13. The Eagles were the obvious choice for this game. Talented team in a desperate situation against a team that is simply not used to winning and coming off a hap hazard performance the week before.
  14. I can't believe that I am saying this, but just how good is our offensive line? 3 sacks in 4 games I think and Freddy doesn't get touched till he is 5 yards past the line of scrimmage.
  15. Where do we put Bell when he gets back?
  16. He is one helluva decoy.
  17. Everyone agrees they should have gotten rid of it when they had the chance but they reviewed it and decided to keep it. That said i don't think that play qualifies as a Tuck. He was turned around and his arm was extended in front of him, hardly a tuck. On the last drive, moving the ball a half yard to give them a first down was criminal, the replay clearly showed the ball landed before the yard stripe. Johnson's catch was a catch, calling that incomplete just to screw with us. These calls are all indicative of a league that tries to create equilibrium in a game and a season through the use of its referees....just like hockey and basketball.
  18. Outside of Dareus and Williams the Dline is pathetic. Carrington? Nothing. Edwards and Johnson, nothing, Troupe less than nothing.
  19. McKelvin, The Human Torched.
  20. I'd thrown a jump ball at the goal line. Either our WR or TE make a play on the ball or on the DB that catches it. Because you know every DB in the league tries to catch that ball because they are all about the stat and not making the smart play to just knock it down and take the field position.
  21. I always defer when my wife & I differ. Guess I am a kitty.
  22. Its doubtful we would have Dareus now if we had not taken Maybin and Spiller and a host of other 1st round rejects.
  23. I think its time to give this group its due. I will be the first to admit that I thought it was the weakest link on the team. But look at the results -- 3 games and a total of two sacks. And we had to go pass heavy in two of those games because we were far behind. No sacks against the Pats and only one against Oakland that might have the most athletic Dline in football. Then Freddy is averaging 6.4 yards per carry rushing (tied with McFadden) and 14.4 receiving. That says a couple things; big holes, down field blocking and solid screen plays. If these guys keep improving, they will carry us deep into the playoffs.
  24. Ocho made a mistake trying to pull the catch in with his hands. He should have used his mouth. Ocho oughtta hang them up and fade into the sunset and take Lee Evans with him. Flacco didn't need the greatest decoy in football today.
