  1. Back to my thread yesterday, if you are going oline here, take DeCastro. I think Path to the Draft said same thing about him going in top 15, the changes tot he money payout for rookies makes Guards more attractive earlier in round one as they are not that expensive now. They also noted the big money paid to Nicks and a couple of other Guards in free agency. He can also slide to Center when Wood goes down again. He is everything you want in an olineman, strong, nasty, and a footballer.
  2. Someone posted this suggestion on another thread somewhere ...The Cold Front.
  3. So by your logic, that means DeCastro will fall into the 20's, 30's or second round? It also means that a player who has been compared to someone like Steve Hutchison, has little value.
  4. If we are going OL at number 10 why not get the best lineman in the draft? This guy will be a perennial all pro. Beats trying to pickup an LT that provides depth. I know we have a number of guards but DeCastro, Wood and Levitre in the middle would be solid. Hands down he is the BPA at number 10 and an immediate starter. Pears is solid at RT, Hairston should suffice at LT and we can get depth in rd 2, 3, 4 or 5.
  5. But that is exactly what he wants the other teams to think. He hints at Tackle so that they think it will be a WR. But actually he is playing the old double guessing trick tell em what you will do so they think you will do something else. then again, maybe not.
  6. Spiller proved he is a very valuable RUNNING BACK He can bust it loose from anywhere on the field. There was a tackle on an old Bills team that would report in as a TE and caught a few balls for TDs. Didn't mean we should make him a tight end. Why make Spiller something he is not?
  7. Bruce was never a head hunter nor one to try to cut someone's legs and make them lame. There is a big difference between putting a hit on someone and trying to injure someone. How often did we cry out when we saw an offensive lineman intentionally go after Bruce's knees with the intent of injury? There is tough play vs dirty, cheap play. The Saints were paid to go out and injure someone.
  8. Michael Floyd will be an outstanding pick.. All this BS from those that say he has never caught a ball in the NFL and thus is not qualified is just gibberish from a bunch of idiots. Pure gibberish. Grab Floyd in rd 1, a CB in rd 2 and wait for an LT to get cut or resign Bell.
  9. Tebow going to New York is like Mother Theresa going to a Chicken Ranch in Las Vegas. He better carry a large bag of coins for the panhandlers on every corner.
  10. It will be Floyd just like it was Spiller two years ago, except we need Floyd.
  11. Without a doubt it will be Jarius Byrd. Byrd-man will be an INT machine and will have a shot at the pro bowl.
  12. Praise the Lord and Pass on Tebow
  13. Sorry to bring it up guy's but the biggest question is how much of how he earned the Light's Out nickname was from juice? If he's healthy as a horse but his prior production was steroid related all we have is an ex juicer that is over rated. Once Mark MacGuire stopped taking the juice he was nothing.
  14. I never had any doubts! ha. un-Bills-ievable
  15. "Ralph is cheap and stypid?" He just drove Mario to a bank and said take as much as you need. Wished we had a plan B in the works once Meachem flew the coop. Plan B is Malcolm Floyd or Stephen Hill but we still need a vet across from Stevie for a while. Easely hasn't played a down so its hard to gamble on him. A good receiving core -- second tier vet, Floyd, Stevie, Easely and David Nelson. Lee Evans, spare me.
  16. I agree. We need one more corner maybe round 3 or 4. Whats nice about Williams and Meachem we can draft BPA in rd 1 and 2. Floyd of ND, or an OT or Upshaw. I trust this team management more than any other since Polian not to f' up our first pick.
  17. If we get Williams and a big time WR, who do we draft? I'd take the best left OT available and OLB in rd 2, CB in rd 3. I doubt we have to worry about this happening though.
  18. The words mature and name Stevie Johnson are seldom heard in the same sentence. Could this be the start?
  19. Every season is loaded with Ifs. Right mow the ifs are...if we get a pass rusher, if we get an OLB, if we get another CB, if we get a #1 WR, if Easley, Wood, Williams, Freddy all come back and stay healthy, if Hairston, Bell or a newbie can excel at LT, if we get another TE, if nobody gets hurt, if all of ifs happen we may have a decent year, say 9 and 7, and we will just miss or just make the playoffs. If not, same time next year, there will be a string of the same old Ifs....
  20. Roscoe was great as a PR. As a WR, it was either we never used him right; or he just could not make a play. In my memory he never ever ever made a play with a run after a catch. He caught a few 20 to 30 yarders but never caught a three to five yard pass and turned it upfield. Not once that I remember. He never took one to the house. And isn't that what a munchkin is supposed to do?
  21. Not yet, that will be when he retires.
  22. After reading more on this, Williams put a big emphasis on injuring other players wherever he coached. A lifetime ban from coaching in the NFL is not unreasonable. The man is clearly the dick we all thought he was when he was head coach. Get him out of the league, keep him out of the league. Send a strong message please. It is time to stop this nonsense once and for all. Gregwilliams = Dickhead
  23. Pro football is rough enough sport and there is no place for purposely injuring somebody. Yes we all now it happens but to actibvely promote and contribute dollars to the pot means that Greggo should be suspended for a full year without pay and fined heavily, Sean Payton should be heavily fined for letting his buddy contribute to the pot and the GM should be suspended for a year and fined even more than idiot Greggo. Then the Saints should lose their first round pick. These guys won't change until someone dies on the field and then it will be too late for one more guy. It is already too late for Daryl Stingley.
  24. Fina had a couple of good years after he left Buff with AZ if I remember correctly.
