My apologies, at first I misread your statement, but i had already written this reply. I actually re-wrote it a bit, but left most of it in as I was too busy or lazy to re-write all of it. In the end I think we agree all we have left for this years team is sarcasm.

9-7 would be nice but we won't beat STL nor SEA.

Thanks for nothing Chan.

Agree with this, except I would add Gabbert and Cassel to the mix.

Clearly, when healthy Donald Jones should be a teams 4th, 5th or 6th receiver if he can make the roster. He is not and never should be a number 2. Easley can develop into a number two guy. Play Easley. Easley reminds me of McKelvin, confidence from special teams rolls over to his primary position. Easley now knows he can play in this league. The team simply has to play him. Please. We the fans know when to kick a 51 yard FG in a dome. We the fans know that you have to give CJ the ball more often. We the fans know when to go for two against Tennessee. We the fans know the obvious thing is to play Easley so we can praise ourselves for being right about one more obvious thing or run the guy out of town for not living up to our expectations.

In the previous game fitzy was sacked to bring us back to the 34. I think the he just assumed that because we were sacked it was too far and that **** would go against us and we would not make the FG. I mean how freaking ridiculous not to kick indoors but to kick in the freaking rain. Clearly Chan's head is not in the game.

I hope that he is grown up enough that no one had to sit down and say that to him. This isn't little league for god's sake.

Well as bad as we've been have we been this bad?

Yeah but we can't even beat the Jets. As I recall they hammered us. -
I am sure glad we didn't get stuck with Cam Newton.

Stevie Johnson was absolutely right when he said that Fitz should be calling the plays. Fitz should be calling the plays and signaling them in to Tavaris Jackson. Fitz is easily the smartest player on the field, he would not make the incorrect calls or outthink himself like Chan continually does, he readily reads the defenses and knows how to adjust. TJ has the athleticism to be a great QB, but maybe not the brain. Putting Fitz' brain with TJ's arm and feet could give us the best 1-2 QB duo since the Super Bowl days.

Fitz Killed the Playoff Goose
jumbalaya replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The punt return had little to do with losing the game. Down right awful play calling and game strategy, not executing by Fitz, poor o-line play and failure to stop Luck on 3rd downs had everything to do with losing that game. Does anyone really think we would have won the game if we scored to tie it with 2 minutes left? Luck would have walked his team into field goal range and ended it. Why, because they were prepared to win, while we were prepared not to lose. -
when he first got here, i thought chan had a football mind. boy was I wrong. not going for two in the tennessee game, not trying a fifty yarder indoors, throwing passes behind the line of scrimmage when you should be throwing down field on a march to tie the game...- when the coach doesn't play to win the players don't play to win. he handed a FG to Indy at the end of the half. chan is not a winner, and fitz is a loser. handed a FG to Indy at the end of the half. what a joke. this team actually has a lot of talent just not in the coaching ranks.

JJ Watt vs Marcell Dareus
jumbalaya replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe we should run their scheme. Ours sucks. -
Fitz' ineffectiveness throwing deep has severe impact on the under throws and the run game, I say play Easley to see what we have and ask Fitz to just toss it up and let the big guy fight for it.

I have been surprised about Detroit's implosion this year. With great receivers and a good young arm at QB, and what should be a tough defense I was wondering what went wrong. Imagine the Bills with a promising QB and then suddenly he turns into a turd. The answer hit me between the eyes today. Offensive Coordinator Scott Linehan. Linehan ruined the Rams when he was their head coach. He has zero communication skills with the players and other coaches. Zero. Let's hope he doesn't worm his way here after he gets fired this year.

In the last three games two things have happened producing a new result.. First Mario's wrist has been fixed which has resulted in better play from Mario. Next McKelvin replaced Williams that resulted in better DB play. We played two highly potent offenses, Houston and NE, on the road and one inept offense, Miami, at home. Houston's defense outplayed our offense and we lost but were competitive against the team many think will be in the AFC championship game. We could have won the NE game and that came down to the last play. In the NE game our defense was respectable against one of the league's best offenses that came off a bye week. The following week, we dominated Miami in everything but the score. If Gilmore and McKelvin continue to improve the defensive line will get better. If the defensive line gets better the DBs will start getting some INTs. Good things ahead and it is our turn for some good luck and we will win in INDY.

[please fix subject]Danario Alexander
jumbalaya replied to Solomon Grundy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It doesn't matter if we have Danario or not. You need a QB that can throw the ball thirty yards downfield to take advantage of his height and speed. We don't have that QB. -
The team is not out of Playoff Hunt
jumbalaya replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we don't have to beat the crap out of the Jets, we just have to win by one point. -
most improved Bill - McKelvin as a CB - shot at special team spot. No one else on the bIlls is deserving of pro bowl.
-
Leodis McKelvin was our best corner back against the Pats, hands down. Keep playing the guy, let him improve, he will get better. Special teams is a bonus.

Zebra Report aka piss poor officiation
jumbalaya replied to justnzane's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brooks never tried to get back in bounds that is why he was flagged. Other than that the flags were mostly a result of an unprepared poorly coached team. -
All BS aside, I thought McKelvin played his best game ever. McGee is done forever so hopefully Leodis finally is getting it and can start for a long time. Carrington seems to be playing more than Dareus. We need a monster at LB and a stud safety that can cover and hit.
