This would derail Fitz' development

Watching these two pathetic teams play on this Monday Night clunker and thinking that these inept offenses combined for over 80 points on us. They stink and we are worse.

Looking back there are many moments when Chan quit or screwed this team. But in my mind, the first deliberate move was the day we cut Moorman. That was the day Chan first quit on this team and the team never recovered. Maybe it was earlier when we first cut Merriman or not playing a productive Spiller, but the Merriman cut is explainable, and we did have Freddy in front of CJ. But cutting a proven vet and team leader for an untested, inconsistent rookie never made any sense.

is it the player or our coaching that takes promising players and fail to get more out of them? i am convinced that Fitz' regression last year was brought on by Gailey's coaching. Fitz never had a problem throwing 15 or 20 yards downfield until this year.

That's complete hogwash about coaches not going for two at that point in the game. Coaches that believe in their team go for two. Coaches that don't believe in their team, don't go for two and usually lose. Gailey was two minutes away from his rule about when to thiink about going for two. What he didn't consider is that the Defense couldn't stop a high school team that day, as a sresult he did not take the flow of the game into consideration. Chan's head is clearly not in the games. I wish they'd spite the coaches a little more often. How can Spiller and Lindell look up to Chan as a coach when the coach has no confidence in either of them. Jackson gets hurt and who goes in? the rams are playing hard and with confidence. they are 1-0-1 against SF one of the best teams in the league and would be 2-0 if their wr covered the tackle on the first play of overtimein the tied game. i can't see us beating them with our injuries on offense especially. rams plus points and the under. fitzy blows another one under pressure and our dbs beat like a drum

Our D line has improved a lot since the wrist was fixed. At the same we do not have a shut down corner and the play from our second corner has been awful until Leodis worked his way back in. Our linebacking is way below average. We have 31 sacks so far, up from 27 for all of last year. And last year we had the anomaly of 10 sacks in the skins game. We may see almost a doubling of sacks if you remove that anomaly. The D play the last 5 games has been a dramatic improvement even if we can't stop anyone on third down. Biggest improvement on D line this year has been Carrington. Kyle and Marcel have not played any better than in the past. Anderson and Kelsay have been busts due to injury.

I think its time to draft Woods replacement. The guy is good but cannot stay on the field.
