  1. Agree, a healthy Legursky doesn't belong on the roster.
  2. He knows he won't get the offer he wants from Buffalo. That much is obvious. If he is let go he can start a bidding war. If Buff tags him again he has another nice payout but not $15MM to $20MM guarantee that he wants. So nurse the injury for all its worth and force Buffalo to move or release him is the plan.
  3. Means Byrd won't be ready for awhile. Byrd has both a foot injury and became a headcase. I bet the Wood extension really added salt to his wound.
  4. Plan is working out well isn't it? We get one lousy CB cast off.
  5. Other than da rick going to Indy, are there any other sightings of the Bills cuts. Maybe you should not always believe the Bills press about Bills players.
  6. That option is still open.
  7. We should be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. As this is another rebuilding year and there are upgardes available at any position, you go for it.
  8. Agressively fix what? It was obvious before the preseason started that we had zero veteran CB leadership and if Gilmore went out we had nothing behind him. Now he's out and we have nothing behind him. Picking up a cast off is not aggressively addressing anything. Same thing at QB, they get rid of a decent back up in TJ, so instead of having two vets and EJ then putting Tuel on the practice squad where he belongs, we are in a heckuva fix and have to play EJ in an at risk situation coming off knee surgery. Keeping Fitz and passing on Kolb would have been a good idea too. At Guard they let Rhinehart and Levitre walk. Should have kept one of the two. So they bring in Legursky a below average replacement that could not crack the Steelers pitiful Oline. Now he's banged and there is zero depth. If Chandler goes down again they will be 0 for 4 in addressing positional needs and planning for injuries at G, QB, TE and CB. The only areas they shored up this year was WR & Dline. It's not like we are cap strapped as we had plenty of room to add a couple of quality vets at these spots. So many on this board just blindly agree with anything this team's management does.
  9. I have had it. Rolling your foot on a golf ball will cure it in a couple of days.
  10. They have full rosters, we cut half our team.
  11. So far the Raiders are keeping two punters on their roster Kluwe and King. Either of these guys are a huge improvement over Powell. I'd like to see snatch one of them up.
  12. You make Tuel sound like a viable option. He isn't. It's pathetic that we are in a position like this. Dropping TJ was a phenomenal mistake.
  13. Cheers to a great player.
  14. His brother Ricky was a good singer.
  15. He can easily get them back by becoming a Bills' fan.
  16. Agree, anyone who thinks Tuel is a viable #2 at this point in his career is nuts.
  17. I am tired of circling the wagons. Time to line the wagons up in a V and charge.
  18. Is Byrd really visiting a foot specialist of taking a team physical as part of a trade?
  19. My guess is Heath is simply warming a spot for a vet CB that we pick up off waivers. Is everyone here comfortable with Powell as a punter? I am not. There are several quality punters that should become available.
  20. Legursky could not stick with a horrible Steeler line. He can be replaced by a number of cuts coming this week.
  21. Spiller finally starts every game in his third year...that doesn't sound like once in a decade back to me. Now we are going to give him the ball till he throws up? Richardson is given the ball every time and they know he won't throw up. Third and short, goal line, I will take Richardson over CJ all day every day. CJ is a flash, Trent is a bull. Trent will be playing for 5 years after CJ is broke down.
  22. The two best seasons in a Bills' fans year are the off-season where we think, read and watch the draft unfolds and then get to meet our picks through the NFL draft. Fresh meat, fresh faces, optimism abounds. The off-season is quickly followed by the pre-season where our players outshine our players in practice after practice. The offense beats the defense, the defense beats the offense. Our offense must be good because our defense is great. yadda yadda yadda. We convince ourselves the Bills not only have a chance but will dominate. Then the preseason starts and we are marginal at best, but hey it's the preseason the regular season will be different. Then the regular season starts. Anyway we start with hope, then accept that 1-3 isn't bad, a break here or there and we would be 2-2 or 3-1. Surely the next games will be different. Than BAM POW we are 2-6 and our season is freakin' over. And we have to wait to see where we draft and start this vicious cycle all over. Eight more games of horrible football. Won't even wear your Bills jersey to a sports bar on Sunday. Preseason is over, hurry on to the post season.
  23. Who made the IR list tonight? Legursky B Smith? Anyone else?
