With Fitz we would have beat NE the first week and the Jets last week.

The first thing to get rid of are the idiots that police the board and shut down postings because they are not part of a thread they want it in. They need to get a life.

It's different game from when the old guys played. Pass defense in the last ten years is a joke compared to what those receivers dealt with. TJ is a joke as was Roscoe as will be Marquis. Players like that need someone like Brady or Marino throwing to them and we don't have that.

I think the point of the topic is that rather watching this team get better each week we are watching a team get worse and implode due to injuries, just like every other team for the last decade. The fact is the front office did not do its job and bring in some mid level vets at qb, oline, DB and TE. Now with injuries to all of these units except the underachieving tight end position we are where we are at every year, about to be one of the first teams eliminated from the post season. Same story each year just a new cast of characters. And anyone that thinks Legursky rates as a mid level vet is a fool. What I am not sure of, is the run defense as bad as it seems or are the defensive run numbers a by product of an awful offensive scheme and awful play calling that allows the opposing team on the field way too often. Anyway here's to more early discussions of the next draft and another top ten pick that we will screw up.

Finally someone that sees the big picture.

Some complain about the hyper offense being the problem. I don't think so. This offense would suck at slow speed. The problem is play calling, execution and clock management. Maybe not clock management, as that is a concept that the coaching staff is completely clueless about.

This team would rather be 20MM or 30MM under cap space than have acquired quality veterans at OLine, Db, TE and QB. We are paying for it now. TJ or Fitz at QB and we are 3-0. EJ won't be ready until year 3 no matter if he plays every down this year and next or not. He is two more long losing years away.

You pay for good players no matter the position. We do not have agood player at that position. You can say that overpaying at a spot is not smart. Underpaying at that spot that costs you games is even dumber.

Feature RB is more like a #2. CJ is not an answer and Freddy will be too old next year.

This board swallowed the hype that CJ was the next Chris Johnson (before Chris Johnson became the half assed RB he is today). CJ could not beat out FJ as a rookie. He could not beat out FJ when he was second year back until FJ got hurt. And a s third year back he is half the back that an old FJ is. He is the same back the Chris Johnson is today. A flash in the pan. He is a good runner but he is not a good running back. He can't block, he can't break a tackle, he can't find a small hole and get through it. He's super when he has a big hole. But he goes down faster than a ______ after a bar of soap.

Roscoe Parrish was better than TJ and Roscoe sucked. So far, Goodwin has shown to be clones of these two. Easley is out there making play after play on special teams. At least try him on offense. You cannot do worse.

It will be an ugly year as EJ learns. Deal with it. That said we'd be 3-0 with FItz.

Correct me if I am wrong (as if that is a problem for this board) but, at the end of the first half we had the ball 3rd and long around our 30 with 50-some seconds left, Jets have one time out. We line up and snap the ball with 24 seconds on the play clock. Other than say Philadelphia, what major league team would not have bled the clock down to about 30 seconds or forced the opposing team to call its final time out??? No we throw pass. What supreme utter stupidity. They don't do this crap in high school. Cost us a field goal. Hackett should have been taken off the mike then and there.

CJ is the biggest fantasy bust of 2013 and the most overrated player in the NFL, bar none. How many Lynch haters are liking this change in ball carriers now?

Framer's actually do pretty well these days. A good size farm is worth several million. The days of tilling behind a mule or cow are long gone in the U.S.

The game is a tossup. Two rookie QBs, one that has never played a road game, divisional rivals, very similar defenses. How many road games have we won the last few years??? Jets are the logical pick. But I think the Bills will win.

Eagles get 260 rushing yards and lose. That is disgraceful. Kelly and Kent Hull made the KGun work. And as Marv once said they were the best practice team he ever saw. Routinely finished practices early as no one made mistakes.

If the Browns can get a first for Richardson we should be bale to get a first for a pro bowl safety.

Hopkins. We drafted this guy, pulls his groin and we keep two Ks. Just kidding. You can't complain about injured players. Graham, Chandler, and Carrington are the biggest no shows. Brown shows, just not positively. You also have to give honorable mention to CJ. By the end of the first half of the first game he effectively lost half of his carries to Freddy, didn't even start the second half, he is pulled at crunch time on third and 5 or less and anywhere near the goal line. I guess "give it to him till he pukes" didn't work.

Wish he was one dumb move away from a suspension in a Buffalo Bills uniform. Big mistake in giving up on a talented kid. Then having to waste another first round pick on talent we had on the roster. Can you spell Byrd, which is another big mistake in the offing. Keep your home grown talent. Draft to improve the team not to replenish holes that are self inflicted.

We have two receivers of that there is no doubt. Chandler is not looking like himself or EJ just can't find him, either way our TE play is a decade long misery. The real key to this game will be whether or not EJ is prepared to play on the road. If he is we win. If he isn't, it will be along day. Win or lose, I'd take EJ over Geno in a heart beat.
