  1. It didn't take but a full year to figure out either Manning or Leaf.
  2. ST is about having the players in the right scheme to make the plays and then inspiring them to go beyond to make the big play.
  3. If Moorman and Crossman are here we are doomed. I do believe that Moorman belongs on the wall tho. Heck, he was the best player on this team for about 5 years running.
  4. We should draft a K as Carpenter is sure to walk and Hopkins is as fragile as EJ.
  5. Dareus stays. He just needs time to mature and I think we give it to him. Legursky, Pears are replaced on the line. Spiller gets traded. Graham and Johnson are history. Freddie stays till they put him in a rocker. Lewis and Tuel are gone. CHandler is gone if they find someone with a pulse. Byrd goes but we should sign him. We will now have to draft quality SS, FS, OLB, TE, T, G, RB. But we don't have 7 picks in the top three rounds.
  6. Spiller isn't in the top twenty and is number two on his own team. After 3 years he still can't beat out a 32 year old dude.
  7. Crossman is perfect for this team as he deflects a lot of the attention away from other poor coaching and front office decisions.
  8. The plan for next year is the same as every year. Do some cosmetic things and build up the hype. Declare ourselves unbeatable during intra-squad scrimmages. Look average in the preseason and then fall flat as soon as the gun sounds and be out of a playoff run by mid season. Why should it change?
  9. Marrone's first mistake was Hackett, his second was Crossman. If you have a rookie head coach you can't handicap him with an extremely inexperienced OC and a ST coach that should be coaching high school. This teams other mistakes began in the FO by (1) not signing Levitre & Byrd, (2) not replacing Levitre with a competent FA, (3) not retaining Fitz or T Jax, (4) starting the season with a rookie QB and an UDFA rookie back-up, (5) lack of veteran players in the secondary, and (6) no quality WR or TE pick-ups. Obviously the team did not care about winning this year and clearly it was reflected in these amateurish Front Office moves.
  10. I have no problem with him not playing. He needs to be there for his family. I was just curious about the time frame.
  11. a redder shade of neck on a whiter shade of trash Love that line. There is no trash like white trash.
  12. Without trying to be morbid.... Stevie gutted out the Jax game even though his mother just died. Kudos for Stevie, but he really should not have suited up nor should the team have allowed it. Your head is not anywhere into a game. But he is still not playing two weeks later against the Pats because they buried her on the 27th, about 12 or 13 days after she died. I totally understand him not playing this weekend because he needs to be with his family and he will have missed a lot of practice, etc. But isn't 12 days an unusually long time between death and burial? It's almost two full weeks. Does anyone else find this odd?
  13. He can throw the ball downfield unlike EJ, who can, but won't.
  14. This is just another stat for losers to look at. Can we stop the good teams when it counts? Can we make a big play on offense with the game on the line against a good team? Do we show up on the road? Those answers for this season and the last decade remain "No". Is team better losers than the previous losers? Possibly, but it matters not.
  15. We don't know if EJ is the guy or not. We do know we have too much invested in him to draft a QB early next year. We would be smart to have a quality veteran back-up like FItz in place next year with Thad the number #3 guy. Smartest thing this organization can do is draft a T in Rd 1 and pick up a very good G in FA and build a solid ground attack. Then we can let EJ mature around a strong ground game. A #1 WR wouldn't hurt.
  16. Move every team to a short field that fits in current NBA and NHL arenas. Have wideouts in motion toward the line from ten yards back. Make players play both ways. Get rid of Al Michaels and Brent Mussberger.
  17. Stevie cost us two games this year, NE & ATL. Hackett cost us a couple of games. Marrone cost us a couple of games. Gilmore cost us a game. Brandon cost us three or four games by not picking up decent vet help at QB, G, & CB. Heck if things went right we'd be 18-2 right now.
  18. He used a double negative. What he actually said means it really was important. It's not a team issue it's his issue. Own up and be a man. If its your job to be on time, get your ass out of bed and be on time.
  19. This is what people point to when they accept losing. The 2013 Bills are losers. Don't buy into the hype they are better losers than last year's losing team. Next year will be next year and it will be another season with excuses.
  20. If we had Fitz and EJ at QB this year, next weeks Pats game would have been for first place.
  21. Keep Glenn at LT. Draft the best Tackle in rd 1 and put him at LT. Bring in a FA G that could at least start on Pittsburgh's miserable OL in 2012, not someone that could not. Draft a G in RD three and forget about the Oline for a few years. Find a WR in Rd 2 and get D and TE help in FA.
  22. Actually the whole cluster fork started when they overpaid the guys from Washington for LG and did not pay Peters what he was worth. Everything has been swirling in the bills toilet and the Levitre thing is just another reincarnation of their continuing screw ups
  23. Draft the Auburn Tackle and bookend him with Glenn. Draft, or acquire a decent FA, G in rd 3. Oline solved.
  24. Some things just make sense.
