6-10. EJ has shown he is more like TE than people would like to admit. We like him, think he will get better, he hits a wall or gets hit by a wall, on to plan B with an incapable back-up. Bills history repeats itself again.

[closed]The Bills are being very aggressive.
jumbalaya replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard from a very reliable source that we are going to give Seattle a third for Tavaris Jackson so we have that veteran back-up we desperately need. If T Jzx was good enough to back up a Super Bowl winning QB he could do wonders sitting on the bench in Buffalo. -
Good teams figure out how to sign their good players. The Bills have mastered the art of drafting for the same position year after year after year. This team continues to be irrelevant. March on to mediocrity Buffalo, maybe by 2020 we will get that far.

2014 NFL UFA Visits, Signings, and Re-signings
jumbalaya replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
as is our possibility of signing a quality replacement Good to see the Bills pounce on their greatest need and resign a Kicker where they have Hopkins the top K in 2014 draft as back-up, and who they will most likely release in preseason. Way to greatly improve the team and spend cap $$ wisely. -
UGH !! This Is Some of Whats Wrong At 1 Bills Drive
jumbalaya replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have you realized when Byrd walks we have to expend a high draft pick on a position that was a strength but is now a weakness? That pick could have solidified other weak areas but we can never address all of our weak areas because we continue to bleed from our inability to develop and keep talent. At best this team will become mediocre, but that will take a few years. -
Chris Gragg might surprise everyone
jumbalaya replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gragg might surprise everyone? The Bills might surprise everyone and win 7 games, but not likely. -
If your defense is getting chewed up by the run, like it did all year long, the problem is not with the offense.

FAs get quality veteran LB, G, T, TE, & S then draft BPA. We always have way too many holes to file and you are always at risk to draft to fill a hole and miss out on a stud.

another good player the Bills will let walk and we will regret this later.

Geoff Schwartz OG - Bills are interested
jumbalaya replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sign a quality FA G, draft a starting ROT in rd 2. Evans or Ebron are the two we will be left with at 9. Robinson, Matthews, Mack will be long gone. -
Bring that chewing tobacco that Sweden is famous for. Walk around the parking area until you find some fans that are drinking and say "We are from Sweden can we party with you?" Bring some beer and they will let you in. It will take about 10 seconds to find a friendly group. Share the tobacco, every drunk buffalo fan will try it even if they have never done it before. Or go to any bar the night before the game and find someone that has a tailgate and make arrangements to meet up.

It's obvious that this FO is intent on moving this franchise from inept to mediocre. They aspire to be 8-8. Playoffs by 2020, maybe.

Bills to pull out of Toronto deal per Mark Gaughan
jumbalaya replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The transcript of the meeting... Buffalo: We want you to pay us more money to keep playing here. Toronto: Ah, No thank you. Buffalo: We can't win games in Toronto. Toronto: That's because your team sucks. Buffalo: Buffalo fans won't make the trip Toronto: That's because they are cheap and your team sucks. Buffalo: There are more fans for the opposing team. Toronto: What did we just say? Buffalo: Your mayor is an embarrassment when he wore the Bills Jersey Toronto: It doesn't matter whose jersey he is wearing. Buffalo: We will give you some space at the Ralph with Port-o-potties Toronto: At least we would use port-o-potties. Buffalo: We suck so bad you should pay us not to play in Toronto. Toronto: You've got something there, how much we talking? -
Tim Graham was on Sirius radio this morning.

The time for getting the Byrd deal done was 2013. The FO blew it then and it became a festering sore. Then Byrd sat for five game because of a fake injury. I bet the deal could have been done last year for less than what our rejected offer was this year. -
don't blame parker for the front office's failings. if the bills were a winning franchise this would never be an issue. the front office has tanked this team for 15 years. byrd walked cause the bills suck and he obviously doesn't see that changing anytime soon.

Jairus Byrd [was Jarius Byrd]
jumbalaya replied to Iowabillsfan4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills brass blow it again. Another top tier player leaves, another draft pick wasted to replace a quality player that walked away. What a putrid team. -
Khalil Mack: Take or Trade Down
jumbalaya replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watkins, Mack, or Robinson if any of them fall to 9 you grab them. Don't even think about trading down. -
Jason Peters, Eagle for life (apparently)
jumbalaya replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peters had a legitimate beef, the Bills go sign two high priced O-line FA slugs that were not half as good as he was and then the FO refuse to pay him fair market. Next, the fans turn on him as we always want the good players to get less than they deserve for our own amusement. Byrd is next of long long line of good players that will leave to get paid what they are worth and the fans will turn on him as he leaves and call him ungrateful. -
It's not a PC rule that every team had to see him. It's called doing due diligence about your job and being a professional. You may be stronger and faster but you are half the man he is.

Leroy Keyes said the same thing. Can't always go by what a guy says.

Forget big WR's with the first pick, draft Eric Ebron
jumbalaya replied to Proteus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At the #9 pick we will have a choice of taking one of the top three tackles in round one and the 6th or 7th best receiver or 4th best TE in round two. versus One of the top 3 WRs or best TE in round one and one of the 6th or 7th best tackle or a top 3 guard in round two. In my opinion, this team needs a big time playmaking receiver / TE and I'd go that route. -
who thinks we will go OT in the 1st round
jumbalaya replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I predict the Bills take TE Ebron. Ebron is like adding the big WR that we desperately need and a TE at the same time. Unless Clowney or Mack falls to us. -
