Cleveland will cut Osweiler. Osweiler thrived under Dennison. We will cut Yates and sign Osweiler to a $775k contract. Cleveland will eat the rest of that deal.
-
We need a #1 WR. That's not Zay. Remember when we didn't have a #1 for years until we got Sammy? We could never trade a second and third round draft pick and get someone close to Sammy.
-
I can't remember a team with so many spots that could be filled by another teams final cuts to start the season without affecting anything. Seriously it would not be a reach for Beane to pick up 4 or more players come final countdown. QB (3rd string) at least 2 WR slots T Linebacker Safety CB All of these positions currently have depth players that are marginal at best. If they play for the 3rd round compensatory pick and drop Holmes, Ducasse, and/or Davis, we could well be over 4 new players come next week.

Air Pegula in Phoenix, rumored for JJ Nelson

Terry is going to fly the jet to the other 31 NFL cities just to mess with us. -
Sammy > all bills receivers on this roster

This is how epically bad we are.

McDermott and Beane are no different than all the other twits that came before them or will come after them. Anyone that swallows their kool-aid will be swallowing their own vomit for years to come. This team is falling apart faster at this stage of the preseason than any of the previous 16. Boldin tells Beane that Watkins isn't a team guy Beane trades Watkins Boldin quits Belicheck pays Boldin off. -
otherwise we go 0-16. No QB, No WRs, No O-line. This season is falling apart before it gets started. We will certainly be out of playoffs before the end of October. At least we have a better culture. The McDermott experiment won't last two years.

Too bad they had to fool with the receiving corps the last two years. Adding Zay to Hogan, Watkins, & Woods would make a pretty dynamic group. Instead we have Matthews, Zay and a body. I guess "you don't know what you've got till its gone"...and this years squad looks pretty pathetic, especially with a less than elite passer. Total passes caught by a Bills WR, expected to make the team, from TT in an actual game, and it doesn't change much when you add in preseason games: Jones - 0 Matthews - 0 Streator - 0 Shorts - 0 Holmes - 0 Brown - 0 I am probably missing someone, or rather TT is probably missing them.

Report:Bills Interested in Trading Two oftheir Biggest Stars
jumbalaya replied to Foxx's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"The next guy up has to step up and produce" means "We have little hope that the replacement player would make another team's practice squad" Now that we have dropped Sammy and Darby, he's right there -
No GM has done more to completely demoralize a team three weeks before a season opener than BeanO. If we lose week one to the Jets, which is unlikely but possible, this team could go 1-15, because nobody could lose to this Jets team twice. Week One -- Very possible Glenn & Matthews don't play, Matthews will not have practiced at all in any case. Imagine if TT breaks an ankle tripping over the sideline chalk in the next couple of weeks....

Knee jerk reaction that losing Sammy is bad for TT?
jumbalaya replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team had a glimmer of hope to make the playoffs before the trade simply because they had not played a game. After the trade all hope is gone. This team will not win 6 games. McD is not a young Belicheck. If he is a young Belicheck, he will be fired and hired twice before being a decent HC. Beanie destroyed any hope for the 2017 season. He did not do it with the mindset that TT will be the franchise QB. If he really wants to stockpile picks, trade Glenn to Seattle, TT to the Jets, and Shady to Dallas. We will destroy the Jets in week one. Week 2 the real season begins. -
Wentz will be just fine. Mahomes will be great too and better than anyone the Bills pick because the Bills will ruin whoever they pick.
-
Good thing that we have two first round picks that we can trade for a true #1 WR with speed, moves, hands, and route running ability.....
-
It is bad enough that Beane ruined any chance of a decent season this year. Bortles for Taylor would assure a 3 -13 record.
-
This will be apparent in 2018, 2019 and 2020 when we miss the playoffs because we don't have a true no. 1 WR. No way do we even sniff the playoffs this year.

Bills' 2017 Training Camp Discussion - Final Day
jumbalaya replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He complained about the targets because he was constantly open and TT was not throwing to him. it was a legitimate complaint and Sammy backed it up by having an unbelievable run over the next ten games. -
Greatest WR you've seen in your lifetime

I have a friend that met Randy Moss a little while back and got to know him fairly well. Nice guy, extremely smart and well spoken is how he described Moss. Not the picture you get from his playing days. It's Rice number 1, Golden Wheels Dubenion is #2. -
Anyone else afraid of next years draft?
jumbalaya replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like we need a #1 WR, a #! CB and a #1 QB to start. -
Matthews isn't even practicing full time because of a bad knee. Gaines is second string. So you make up stuff to fit the story?
-
Let's hear your 6 WRs come Regular Season week 1.
jumbalaya replied to CEN-CAL17's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We've been loyal through a helluva lot more thin than thick. Sooner or later management has to produce a viable team. This trade does not do that. They quit on 2017 and are full go to tank. Kyle and Anquan should retire today. Shady should demand a trade. They did Sammy a favor? Trading him to the one of two teams with no viable QB? -
Serious question: Is this the beginning of a tank?
