First play from scrimmage, EJ back to pass, Sammy split left running free down the field, pulls up with hammy. EJ is sacked and it goes from bad to worse the rest of the game.

Thoughts on the idea of McKelvin to Safety?
jumbalaya replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it took mckelvin three years to learn the CB position. He's very talented but clearly not the brightest guy in the world. How many years will it take for him to learn a new position? -
I thought Mario had one good play on the sack. He was completely neutralized most of the game. He would just watch the action around him. He takes a lot of plays off. IMO

Mccoy was hurt, Karlos was an unknown, Boobie is a STer. Yet Doug wanted to show the fans he was in charge and let Freddie go.. We are paying for his arrogance.

Now and then the Bills find a way to beat teams that suck just a little more than we do. Happened Sunday in Nashville. They were the same old bills, absolutely no offense and a penalty-stinking team. It took 3 seconds for the first flag to get thrown and as usual an unforced error. This team is simply undisciplined which is another way of saying poorly coached. That we have to pay to watch a team with one viable offensive lineman (Incognito) is insulting. These guys couldn't block a decent college defense. When we play teams that are better like NE we get hammered (home or away). When we play teams with less talent but are better coached like NYG we get hammered. And that was a home game. We beat a Colts team that cannot win outside of their division. We beat Miami who is in complete disarray. And we beat Tennessee whose rookie QB completely schooled our 5 year vet on how to play QB. Playoffs for this squad are a pipe dream.

I Don't know if I can be a fan any longer.
jumbalaya replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Leprosy is a cursed disease. Which like the initial post on sports ruined by outside influences is intuitively obvious. All major sports are rigged somewhere along the line and to think otherwise flies in the face of logic. Especially when you see so many bad calls in Pats and Cowboys games. In another era, the same was said about the referees in Dolphin games when Shula was the coach. Everyone said he had the rules committee in his pocket and that carried over to favoritism on the field. I believe that was true then and is true now. One would like to think that being a fan is one of the pure things about football. But then again many fans of one team actually enjoy an opposing players getting seriously injured so that purity doesn't hold much water either. So cheer for the Bills and hope somebody rips Brady's knees apart. -
Not to worry we have a promising rookie who will make Shady look like an afterthought. The guy is big and will never get hurt....

OBJ punched Duke Williams in the face - fined $9k by NFL
jumbalaya replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You don't get 'baited' in penalties. You overreact to crap from the opposing player. Our players are dumb and have no control. You don't see the Pats get baited. Only dumb players overreact and get called for penalties. -
The Truth About This Team
jumbalaya replied to Doug Flutie Band's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The offense really sucked yesterday. One can only wonder how much better they would have been with Fred leading them. Better equipped to handle the blitz, much more of a passing threat than Boobie & Karlos. Besides having more influence over the team, more under control, less penalties. One move by Doug W that hurt us yesterday. -

Sports betting isn't legal now? Guess that's why my sports betting website is based in Costa Rica. No FBI there! -
The "can Dan" Carpenter thread
jumbalaya replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is carpenter afraid of Rex or just decided to suck this year? -
The penalties are a result of being manhandled on both sides of the ball. The Bills were out played, out coached and out hustled. The number of 8 to 12 yards gained on first down plays by the giants was embarrassing. Our team does nothing but read its own press clippings. Something is seriously wrong with the rush defense as well as the Oline.

Tyrod Taylor- The Sitting a QB Approach
jumbalaya replied to JPLoserman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
usually rookie QBs fail, because of coaching and / or playing on bad teams not because they sat awhile or played too early. JPP, TE, EJ are prime examples that played early but did not have good coaches or teams. starting rookie QBs that have poor rookie seasons but develop in time have good coaching or developing along with a good team. Aikman, Payton, etc. We just haven't had a good coach or team in a long long time. -
Who will the Bills miss more on offense: Shady or Sammy?
jumbalaya replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McCoy has done little, Sammy has done less, who cares. King Karlos & Sir Percy prevail. -
The KC Pack game was reminiscent of the Pats Bills. KC rebounds next week.

Watkins Injury Update - post em here
jumbalaya replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So Sammy is at best a good decoy? Would be nice to have a reliable #2, one that can play the whole game, to go with Harvin (our true #1). Watkins, 3 games, 7 catches, 99 yards, 1 TD. The TD came when the NE game was all but lost. Then he failed to make a big play on a high throw when we had a small chance to come back to tie. This guy has not shown anything since the first half of last season. -
Rapid Reaction - 10 Observations About Today's Game
jumbalaya replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watkins is anything but a true force. When has he done anything that looked like a force? In the first three or four games before anyone had tape on him, maybe, since then till now it is12 games running and he has been more of a bust than a force. -
Sammy - Time for this dude to start playing ball.
jumbalaya replied to jumbalaya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Another game where Sammy: almost, could have, maybe, should have, if only, will; start to live to his potential. Only to be cut short because he can't stay on the field. Season total 3 games, 7 catches, 99 yards, 1 TD. Avg 2.3 catches and 33 yards a game. His potential is great, his production is pitiful. Can you say Lee Evans? Good thing we picked up Harvin, who is a guy that wants to play. -
Shady looks tired and all but washed up. His extension is looking like a poor deal right now. I hope he recovers and starts playing like he is capable of. We traded him for a broken LB, so not a bad deal, but not a good deal either.

Game Ball Goes To????????? Make your pic....
jumbalaya replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Darby is MVP of the first three games. Watkins and McCoy are not contributing much or at all to the offense. Harvin and TT are the MVPs of the offense so far. Without Harvin we'd be nowhere. -
I think Darby is the Defense MVP after three games followed by Hughes, followed by Brown.

Around The NFL QB Index: 2015 Final Rankings
jumbalaya replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can you agrue with a ranking of 27? TT played well in a conservatively called home game against the Colts. He led a first qtr drive, almost all on the ground, vs the Pats. He absolutely sucked with 6 three and outs over the next 45 minutes. 3 INTs and 8 sacks. The game was just about out of reach. He played okay for the final ten minutes, but again it was a home game. He is #27 in the league because that is where he belongs. An away game will determine will if that rank is too low or too high.
