very very true. people fail to see the market impact of cannabis. other industries would also suffer big, such as the lumber industry and even the fuel industry. cannabis was used heavily for both prior to 1937. i know many individuals personally, all "up standing citizens" as we like to call them, that have stopped using prescription pills and switched to cannabis. imagine the impact that would have on pharma if it were actually readily available, equally, as a legitimate alternative. -

no offense, but I don't really expect individuals that succumb to peer pressure to posses much ability fending off a habit or addiction. I also don't buy the whole "smoke, or lose your job" scenario you've presented, but then again, who am I to say differently. all I know is people handle habits, and addictions differently. I for one struggled with video games my freshman year of college and had to physically remove them from my "world" until i was more disciplined or responsible to practice moderation. at some point, the person has to take responsibility for their own lack of discretion or restrain. -

found this interesting article. i know most here, including myself already know of this, but it's an interesting read nonetheless. I guess even the Pegulas were in the dark on this, until recently. BBC News -

mmm not quite. the diseases you listed...are pretty sever diagnoses. listing more than what I listed...doesn't make them less sever, and that was my initial point. you need a sever diagnosis to even be considered...which in most cases is relative when dealing with pain. again proving my point that it is not easy to get for someone without a server diagnosis. and yea, you do have to go to a hospital unless, said clinic offers onsite fills. I have yet to see one that does. I know this first hand. not to mention, many doctors in NY do not support marijuana based solely on moral or archaic stances. and again, the strains are very very limited. you are very wrong. many heroin addicts are not looking towards the drug for pain relief. that wasn't even at the root of the drug's discovery. opioids, yes...heroin, no. same could be said for crack. same drug different forms. so would you say cracks heads were/are looking for chronic pain relief? what have you been reading or watching? you do realize that marijuana was used much earlier and more frequent than opioids for pain among many cultures. it wasn't until good ol' Anslinger changed that worldwide. so you again, to address your initial claim...heroin is cheaper and easier to get, hence more ods. heroin and crack addicts are in a completely different category. -

.....what? haha this is absolutely hysterical and assumptive. I use cannabis (never call it that, but for some reason I feel the urge) daily. I used it in NY, and in Seattle, where I presently reside. I have quite a long history of relying on pills, that were perfectly legal, such as hydrocodone and tramadol...these pills led to me using zoloft. it was a catch 22 in every sense of the term. suffer from severe, crippling sickle cell pain or take this pills that make me feel like a zombie and consume zoloft (which I never needed prior). at the age of 26 i lost my medical insurance, and needed to find an alternative. cannabis was it. the only guilt i feel is allowing stigmas and legalities to impact my decisions regarding my own health and for so long. i've been using cannabis for 4 years (30 yrs old now). i'm waaay more functional and in better health both physically and mentally. i wont try to market cannabis as some miracle for all to enjoy. just like anything in life, appropriation, moderation, and intent all play a major role. but, sir...you really can't make those assumptions. this is a topic and an area which your knowledge, exposure, and experiences are clearly lacking. your narcissism is awing. but hey...i'm just a pot head trying to clear my guilt. p.s. it's ok to try things, and think for yourself once in a while. it'll likely lead to less judgmental tendencies and shallow stances. Reefer Madness really worked...even to this day. -

well despite what you may believe, is much easier and cheaper to obtain than "medical" marijuana. "medicinal" marijuana requires some form of doctor visit, which requires medical insurance. not to mention a lot of states, such as NY, that offer "medical" marijuana are extremely difficult. making accessiblity very hard, thus limiting opportunity based upon...again, means (money, transportation). NY, for example is the worst out of all medical states. only available in hospitals, no flower form, and only offered to extreme cases, such as cancer or aids patients. not to mention, marijuana is worth soo much more in its weight than heroin, or any other black market opioid. my point is heroin is still much cheaper and easier to get than "medicinal" marijuana. on the black market, the availability is par, but still, the cost of heroin is still MUCH cheaper. not to mention...heroin addicts aren't really looking to ease chronic pain, or help their anxiety, or intentionally getting the munchies because their chemo and aids medication makes them nauseous and they can't eat, therefore they are literally on the verge of starvation. their intent is completely different from those using marijuana in its intended form. -

Leger Douzable petitions Cuomo to get Uber in Buffalo

this has absolutely zero to do with Buffalo legislation. NY as a whole is out of touch. a very very hindered state that portrays itself as being progressive and adaptive to the times. when you actually leave Buffalo, it's easy to see how ass backwards the state really is. sadly, it is home. -

I disagree. Gilmore is not a rookie. he's played with AW and KW and Hughes for quite a few seasons. as far as hoping or expecting leaders of this team to "get him straightened out"...nope. a rookie, ok. but this guy needs to take his "talents" elsewhere. if he can't step up and be a leader or play with fire when he is a 4 year vet, without the assistance of AW and KW or Hughes, nah. bye.

did you bother to read the article? the numbers provided show that TT is doing much better, with much less talent to work with. yes, comp percentage could be better, but these are numbers. maybe non Bills fans are less pessimistic and see the improvement and potential, rather than calling for house cleaning.

Why are players still confused on defense?
87168 replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I keep seeing this, and I'm not disputing it. We all know it to be true. but, isn't it safe to say that a defense designed in this manner, is flawed at its foundation? like you said, small mistakes and comm breakdowns lead to BIG plays. we've seen this throughout multiple games. so, with that said...again, wouldn't it be safe to call this D flawed by design? unless of course, you have a stellar secondary, and depth at that position. which the Bills do not. -

yea it's pretty lame. who care's if he votes or not. it's his RIGHT, not an obligation. people are so socialized it's not even funny. literally, think for yourself once and a while. ever think that maybe he didn't vote because both candidates were jokes and this election as a whole was an insult to America's people, and democracy. an election centered solely around scandal and division, labels. you vote because you believe in what you're voting for...not because you feel obligated. a candidate needs to earn your vote, not get it be default because of party affiliation, race, or gender. and again, the hatred for this man is getting pretty ridiculous. let people live their life, and focus on yours. haha dude doesn't know you exist. i'm sure he'll lose plenty of sleep over the loss of your respect. ahhhh hahahahaha that literally made me laugh out loud. so what does an "african american" look like? explain please. should we all be dark as night? should we all have big lips? bulging eyes? explain, please. while slaves were being raped on plantations and literally bred to make bigger stronger slaves (mandingos....look it up), it allowed us to be composed of many many different shades, sizes, shapes...defects (blue eyes, blonde hair. yes blacks can naturally posses those features). but please explain what we should look like, almighty creator. i find it funny, that we are referred to as african american. blacks have been here since the DAWN of this country (and anthropologists suggest even before then, along with the vikings). yet we are still hyphenated. others are just american, unless of course they just gained citizenship. but oddly enough, we aren't even though we've been here longer than the majority of nationalities in this country, yet we aren't referred to as americans....hmmm perhaps it stems from blacks being seen as being only worth 3/5 of a human. haha we weren't even seen as being HUMAN. these are facts. look it up. we always have a label. "Colored"., "African American", "Negro", "Thug". and oh no, these weren't slang terms. these terms were used in documents, laws, propaganda, schooling, buildings, institutes. we were and never will be just "American". the hatred and racism is deep, and cognitive and taught at a subconscious level. Go Bills!

football is a violent sport...so every player on the field is a thug? also...no. Josh Brown committed a CRIME when he BEAT his wife...no wives or owners or members of the media called him a thug. nice try. again, i really don't expect individuals whom lack exposure or perspective to understand, or even be objective. have a great night. Go Bills!
-
you really really need to educate yourself. no one said castration is specific to america, or blacks...but in this country, given its disgusting history of hatred, nationalism, and ethnocentrism; things hold very different meanings. everything is relative. don't understand why its so hard to grasp. thanks for using the same definition. still have yet to point out thuggish behavior..
-
so how is he a thug? please, define that term for me? dirty play, yes. act of a "thug"...hmmm no. I know plenty of "thugs". real ones. NONE have attended college, and definitely not the likes of Stanford. so please, explain how he is a thug? oxford defines a thug as: a violent person, especially a criminal. funny, josh brown ADMITS to be being a violent individual and beating his wife, which is also a crime. he was never referred to as a thug...hmmm but i guess im just playing the race card, because unconscious bias is nonexistent...

hm seems like a lot of wasted passion and energy towards a person that is really just a member of an entertainment group. not to mention, doesn't even know you exist. haha talk about petty.
