  1. I think they're referring to the WR corps' lack of veteran leadership/presence in general. ....and they have a point
  2. everyone keeps thinking it's that easy.
  3. that's terrible, and it happened all game.
  4. I believe in the Madden curse. Brady...it's coming for you!! on the plus side, this prediction also makes optimistic. yup, this is what being a bills fan has reduced me to.
  5. what happened to the whole one vision i find it very hard to believe that "successful" operations are trading away their #1 receiver without the coaches knowledge. do you really think things happen this way in NE or GB or even Baltimore? not to mention, this article displays the exact opposite of "how aligned the HC and GM are". McDermott may be accepting of the trade or complacent, but this wasn't an example of alignment. for the record, I couldn't care less what the FO does or how they communicate, as long as they build a winner.
  6. haha "should of"
  7. hm, no. I've heard both. it's come into question pretty often over the past few years.
  8. I think it's in reference to strength and conditioning. which would explain why the Bills' offense was always so flat after the half. I know people on this board have questioned the Bills' strength and conditioning due to their late game performance.
  9. with all due respect, this is literally what all GMs and coaches say and do. some are more successful than others. what makes these two more "legitimate" than past regimes?
  10. that implies that they Bills tried to retain them. every player you listed was essentially shipped off.
  11. ever take note that he was also throwing to 3rd and 4th stringers? good play is good play. if he were bad, people would find the negative. if he played well then "ohh it was again 3rd and 4th..." again, you can't have it both ways. good play is good play. why would any one expect a rookie fresh to the league to perform lights out against starters? it has to start somewhere.
  12. umm he played ONE pre-season game and fared pretty well. hahah this board knows all, huh?
  13. that seems to be everyone's logic on this board, and evidently, the same with the FO. they can't develop QBs or a team, so they are looking for a "ready made" Brady, Rodgers, or Ryan....not happening. there is a reason those QBs are miles better than the others in the league. Time, experience and development.
  14. so according to your logic the Bills had 3 "good, dedicated, smart athletes" on their in Hogan, Gills and Gilmore...or else Belichick wouldn't have nabbed them, right? so why did he see this but not the Bills FO? haha i still see people trying to downplay Hogan's contribution to their SB path, and win. it can't work both ways. Cousins is a strong possibility, but Jimmy G is a NO. they aren't getting rid of him. he's going to be championship ready and run this league, because he is being developed correctly. something the Bills can't seem to do.
  15. haha but the Browns haven't been successful. people think I high draft pick is going to guarantee a franchise QB hah that's a HUGE gamble and one that doesn't pay off much. just look at recent history.
  16. haha sure, if that helps your agenda. a player given a stable environment and clear direction, is going to develop better than one that does not. simple. hmm no not quite. that would be under the assumption that Rex should have been hired in the first place...again poor FO decision, and it showed.
  17. oh really? Carr was 3-13 his rookie year. 7-9 the following year, then 12-4 last year. see the improvement when the coaching staff, FO and roster isn't changing every year? if that's what you took from that, you might want to work on your comprehension.
  18. hm, no. the Raiders developed Carr, even after he won a total of only THREE games in 2014 (one against the Bills). they took the smart approach and DEVELOPED what they had, and built accordingly. they didn't blow it up, by firing the coach and ditching Carr. now, they're a playoff team that just added Marshawn Lynch haha. they did things right. the Bills and most fans keep wanting to blow things up until they find a needle in a haystack of a QB that exits training camp looking like Brady, or Rodgers. that doesn't happen...it didn't even happen for Brady and Rodgers haha
  19. you mean that team that's finally turned a corner and STUCK with a QB and coach for more than a year or two? hmmm perhaps they're on to something
  20. hahaha
  21. but the draft! the draft!!! picks!!!!
  22. the bold just makes no sense. these have never been said about Cardale. stop making things up about players.
  23. where did I ever type that? please show me. really confusing that you actually used quotations, when this was never stated. not by me at least.
