    Counterpoints to what exactly? I said Vrabel is an upgrade over Mayo but he's also still only won 2 playoff games as a HC. For whatever reason you interpreted that as me saying he wasn't a good coach and are arguing a point I never made.

    I'm not a McDaniels apologist by any stretch but it's kinda hard to say he set the team back 8-10 years when they went to the playoffs 5 straight years immediately after he left, including a Super Bowl win. Seems like they recovered pretty quickly.

    Whaley was never going to be retained and McD essentially picked Beane as his GM. It's not quite as different really.
