Point being is we aren’t always going to have this easy of a schedule where you can get by winning games by scoring 18ppg.
-
Well those same teams were 2nd and 4th in ppg during the regular season. You’re probably not going to have any kind meaningful and sustained success by being one of the worst scoring teams in the league.

Thought he was really bad last night. Sounded like he was cutting a promo in WWE.

If we are going to be SB contenders then we’ll probably need to score more points. We are getting yards and doing fantastic in the RedZone though.

It was 1-2 pages back and this is what started it. Maybe I didn’t understand him but he originally made it sound like many teams set out to score fewer points based on coaching philosophy. That’s what I disagree with. I don’t think any HC sets out to be one of the worst scoring teams in the league and hope to hang onto whatever small lead they get. Obviously there is a time and place where you’d want to burn clock and protect a lead.

I’d argue Brady isn’t the biggest star anymore (if he ever was). And I would imagine that NFL fans are tired of seeing the Patriots win all the time. If it’s all about ratings then why aren’t the Cowboys competing in SBs?

Scoring as many points as you can is the point of the offense. I’m not so sure they care if it takes them 3 plays or 15. Working the clock has its place but I don’t agree that many teams would rather drag out drives. If you have a source for that I’d love to read about it. that’s what I’m hoping for

It’s definitely still early and things can obviously improve. Our strength of schedule is still in our favor so Allen and the offense should be able to take advantage of these bad teams coming up. And I am giving him a chance to grow. I like a lot of what he’s done. Being desperate for a franchise QB shouldn’t exclude anyone from talking about his weaknesses and how this offense can improve. If I’m going to hype him up as a franchise QB then that’s where the bar is being set. Simply being better than EJ or Tyrod isn’t good enough.

You don’t know my history of praise and criticism but still asked the question as if I’ve never acknowledged or praised him for anything good he’s done? Is it not a legitimate point? Do you not have a problem with how many times Allen turns the ball over or the fact that we are 26th in the league in points scored at 18 per game?
