The problem with those offenses is we were mostly one dimensional. We couldn’t pass when we needed to. Our running game had to carry us on a weekly basis and it’s why Tyrod was shipped out of here.
Go ahead and fire Daboll, I wouldnt disagree with it. But do we really trust McD to find a good replacement? It’d be his 3rd OC in 4 years and our offenses have consistently been really bad during his time here.
Honestly, this is a mediocre team benefiting from having a weak schedule. We might squeak into the playoffs but my goodness do we have some glaring weakness on both sides of the ball.
McD showed a complete lack of awareness and urgency with how that final minute was managed. I honestly don’t believe he was playing to win the game there.
Allen knew where he was throwing the ball before it was even snapped. McD wasn’t going to risk a turnover. He was playing for the tie and I’m sure Allen was instructed to throw it deep and out of bounds.
McD trusted a kicker who has been horrible more than Allen. Either Allen isn’t good, McD is clueless or both. I’m losing confidence in both more each week
Holy *****, how many times are you going to make this point? Are you just looking for an argument at this point? Are you tired of washing Allen’s jock and blindly defending him?
We do have offensive series where Daboll calls wonderful plays and we have really good drives. He’s just not consistent and we often see him try and be cute when there’s no need to.
I don’t think 300 yards is some magic number Allen needs to hit in order to be a franchise QB. Let’s be real, we’ve seen plenty of scrubs hit that milestone.
I just want to see Allen play lights out for an entire game. So far him and the offense have had stretches of great play. Give me 60 minutes where Allen bullies the opposing defense and has his way with them.
