  1. Allen plays good and it’s because he has the keys and has taken control. Allen doesn’t play good and it’s because he’s being held back by the players, coaches or scheme. It can’t just be that he’s a frustratingly inconsistent. No sir, not the guy you proclaimed would be an MVP candidate. Can’t be.
  2. Well of course you disagree with anything that may suggest Allen isn’t the MVP candidate type of player you want him to be.
  3. I have no problem with throwing a lot. I also have no problem with given Allen the freedom to do whatever he wants at the line (I think he already has that freedom). At the end of the day though, I obviously don’t think Allen is as good as you think he is. Just the other week I posted a chart that showed Allen was one of the worst rated passers in the league when facing a blitz. So yeah, maybe with a clean pocket and enough time he’s a fine a passer, but unlucky for him QBs don’t have that luxury on majority of their snaps.
  4. I think I know who you think deserves more blame here. I probably wouldn’t disagree but I suspect you think the gap is bigger than it should be. Daboll is a problem and so is Allen. I don’t think firing Daboll magically makes Allen a better passer (you may not either)
  5. It was a bad throw. Pretty sure it was on our first drive of the game. Brown was wide open for a first down and Allen threw the ball behind him. It was the play right after the Knox drop at the sideline
  6. The blame is part Daboll and part Allen. Pretending otherwise is just foolish.
  7. Right, everything is perfect. Nothing at all to critique or work on. Being one of the worst scoring offenses is just part of the process.
  8. If instead Daboll designed a crossing route that would have gotten us a 1st down but the ball was dropped, you’d blame the receiver and say he needs to make that play right? A deep ball is a low percentage play but it was there to be made. It shouldn’t be asking too much of a guy who was drafted 7th overall to hit a wide open receiver running deep. I haven’t seen the replay of the All-22 yet but Allen needs to make those throws. I have criticized Daboll plenty but I can’t blame him when a TD was there to be had.
  9. I’m like 100% sure you’re wrong on literally all of your points. Other than that....good job?
  10. What a hilariously low bar to set.
  11. Laaaaaaaaaaame Oh look, the Cowboys offense just scored again. Go to bed and shake this loss off.
  12. Do you always make such lame arguments?
  13. Elite WRs rarely become FAs so why does it matter?
  14. You wish. And oh look the cowboys just scored.
  15. You sound utterly ridiculous
  16. lol 3 years of a rebuild and we still look as mediocre as we did before this regime took over. Great success! Maybe by year 15 of this rebuild we can have a decent offense.
  17. Allen is likely our starting QB again next year but if we’re being honest, it’s his make or break year. If we still get more of the same then this time next year we’ll probably be talking about drafting his replacement.
  18. Beat the Dolphins and go from there
  19. Cowboys offense is going to embarrass us.
  20. I can’t be as blindly optimistic about next year as you. We expected Josh to make big strides, he hasn’t, at least not to me. He’s improved in some areas but regressed in others and he’s part of why our offense sucks. He misses guys and misses opportunities to score points. I think Daboll needs to go but then if that happens I’m sure we’ll hear excuses about needing a while for our team to gel in a new offense. I question McD’s ability to put together a solid offense and his in game management and adjustments leave a lot to be desired.
  21. Didn’t you predict us to go 14-2 last week?
  22. Thanks I feel so much better now!
  23. I’m sure it’s already been mentioned but 8 touches against the 30th ranked run defense is pathetic. How does McD not correct that during the game?
