Keon was a non factor for a significant part of the regular season and the entirety of the playoffs. I don't think a slight bump in production is going to do much for this team overall.

He can't stay healthy and his attitude sucks

Josh won MVP because he carried a team that didn't have a ton of talent to 13 wins. The sentiment before the season started was he lost too many weapons and Josh as well as the team overall were expected to have a down year. Why do you think Beane traded for Cooper? It certainly wasn't because the offense was humming. If the plan is to add a complimentary piece in Palmer and hope for a huge leap from Keon then I think that's asking A LOT of Josh again.

Probably a nice complimentary piece but that seems to be all our WR room is full of.

I could go for Khalil Mack at a decent price. We still need serious help at WR but I don't think that gets addressed in FA.

Figured this was coming at some point but I just feel meh about it. Groot is a good player but he's not one of the best DEs in the league. I don't see a consistent double digit sack guy unfortunately and he disappears far too often.

If he can consistently be more of the player he was in 2023 then it's a tremendous deal.

I think bringing back Jordan Phillips again was a pretty obvious sign that the DL needs some serious help.

Beane has poured a ton of resources into the DL. He just hasn't gotten any real difference makers for the cost of it all.

Underwhelming but that job was never going to be a desirable one.

Kincaid was supposed to be better this year and he wasn't. Coleman was exactly who he was in college and is why there are legitimate questions about the role he will have moving forward. Winning the occasional jump ball is not a sustainable model for success in this league, which by the way I feel like he wasn't even all that good at either.

We don't have a 3rd round pick this year and will likely get an additional 2 5th round compensatory picks.

I only want a DT early only if he can get to the QB and create havoc in the backfield. I'm certainly not wasting an early round pick on a purely space eating fat guy. You can probably get one of those in FA. My focus would on guys who get to the QB, WR and CB.

Having a legit #1 WR can change the entire dynamic of a game. Currently, there isn't a single receiver on this team that gives defenses and DCs fits. DCs don't have to adjust their gameplan because they are scared of anyone going off and taking a game over. Additionally, the attention of a #1 WR helps other guys get open because of the way the coverage is. Shakir is a nice player but he is more of a complementary piece. He'd be even better if we had someone on the outside who could actually draw attention from the defense and get open downfield. That should be Beane's focal point this offseason imo.

One name to keep an eye on is Tai Felton out of Maryland. Speed guy with good size and hands. Got peppered with targets and caught a lot of balls. Just the kind of guy this offense could use.

The better team won. There's no need to change the structure of the playoffs because we lost.
