  1. The Browns deserve this and more for picking this guy up, let alone for such a high price tag. I always wonder if Bills fans would root for Watson if he was the quarterback of our team.
  2. During the pre-game interviews, my wife asked me if something was wrong with Tua. He was incoherent before the game fwiw. He also looked unusually off that night with his game, not to take anything away from our D. Perhaps there was something wrong with him before that "hit". I say that because it wasn't even a hit. Either way, the bigger picture for me is how bad the Tua situation is for football - whether he quits (which he should) or stays. If we don't do more to protect players' brains, parents will continue to stop allowing their kids to even play football which obviously will be the death knell for the sport we all love. On another note, from what I have read, CTE is believed to be caused more by nonconcussive hits - i.e. the small everyday jarrings that every athlete, from football players to horseback riders experience - than concussive ones. The Army, for instance, is facing a wave of CTE from infantry who fire large artillery due to the blowback of these guns, which are more powerful than ever. In other words, concussions are bad but it's the small hits over time that cause more damage.
  3. To be fair, the Browns fan base is eternally in the Bills’ early 2000s era. Signing a $230 million rapist or a crab-crawfish thief won’t help.
  4. Tyreek Hill acted like an overpaid, race-baiting, victim-mongering jerk. However, it's not illegal being an overpaid, victim-mongering, race-baiting jerk. I'm pretty sure it's not illegal to not roll down your window for a cop. It's logical to assume Hill didn't want to create a scene, which could've been dangerous. The officer did not need to escalate this. On another note, it would've been a funny wrinkle if said cop was Bills Mafia. Alas ... https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/miami-dade-police-tyreek-hill/
  5. Josh Allen leaps Cunningham Sneed Reid Barr Baker
  6. Tyreek Hill refers to himself in the first 3rd person.
  7. Things McDermott would kick my ass at: Wrestling Performing Fitz and Tantrum's HandClap Things I could kick McDermott's ass at: Getting a tan Lasting more than 13 seconds ... yeah c'mon
  8. Tyreek has 12 kids Fast with the baby mamas Slow with the pull-out
  9. It's stunning to me how much praise he and his game gets from the likes of Collinsworth et all. He's a QB who turns into a running back after one read. He's decent but shouldn't be in the MVP discussion. He's not even close to the same tier as Mahomes and Allen.
  10. Y’all might not know this but McD is a black belt in clapido.
  11. Hopefully Bills Bonds yield profit quicker than Keon Coleman runs.
  12. I'm not worried about the offense, even though Morse is a huge loss. We're going to score a lot of points. Kincaid and Shakir will explode. Coleman looks legit. Our RB situation improved. And Allen should hit his pinnacle this year. But ... D. Poyer, Hyde, White and now Milano (again) and question marks around Von Miller. Too many losses on defense to not take a hit, at least in the first half of the season.
  13. Dr. Google says: "It takes about 3 to 4 months for your biceps muscle to heal. You may be able to do easier daily activities in 2 to 3 weeks, as long as you don't use your injured arm. Most people who work at a desk job can return to work in 1 to 2 weeks." Put that boy to work: He can join the accounting staff next week, practice in September, and play in December.
  14. I don't know about a lack of imagination, as one poster said, but Dorsey's schemes were too reactionary, at least for this team. If x then y and z. Too much mental processing and too much to go wrong. Either way, the offense took a huge step back under the last half of his reign. I prefer Joe Brady and how his schemes dictate, not react. I also look forward to the "no positions" philosophy that could capitalize on more competitive weaknesses. Time will tell, though.
  15. If you're tying immediate ROI to an ad campaign, you're often going to be disappointed. Further, the UFL does not seem to be.the best ad channel for late teens and early 20-somethings. Their ad agency ought to be fired for this. Also not sure how they tied the 38 enlistees to the campaign. Did they not re-enlist because of the UFL? I had no idea Russ Brandon was CEO of this league. LOL at The Rock. C'mon, man, write 3 more posts. He's probably too busy making bad video game movies.
  16. Some BS called "low positive". No running. And now, executive. Jesus, stop meddling with this guy. The only thing Josh Allen needs to improve on is committing slightly fewer turnovers. Let Josh be Josh.
  17. Get out of the road if you want to grow old.
  18. I would prefer an 18 game schedule as a fan, as long as there are two bye weeks. The league should also make TNF games a mini bye on both ends.
  19. Twenty years ago, I ran over a cat. It thumped along the bottom of my Jeep before getting kicked to the back. I was surprised at how a 10 pound animal could make so much noise - it sounded and felt like I ran over a person. Les’s than a month later, I hit my grandfather with the Jeep, knocking him down, and throwing his back out, because he took a left instead of a right when I dropped him off. He was so quiet, I didn't even know I hit him at first. He did complain a whole lot on the way to the hospital, though.
  20. For some reason whenever I attend a wedding, I drink gin and tonic. I live about a mile from the battery by the way. I keep telling my wife we need to go there more often.
  21. I carry my weight much better than that schlub
  22. Depends on how much weed is smoked. In all seriousness, it's surprising in a good way to see most of the answers teetering on one or two. Having watched many Bills games at Bills bars, that hasn't been my observation, though. For me, at 6.4/270 lbs, the drive limit if Im being honest is prob capped at 4 beers or 3 hard ones before I Uber, if I drove there. If I plan to drink, I usually will Uber. Also, for the gin haters, it makes far better martinis than vodka.
  23. You got lucky. My account was charged $25.99 per MONTH x 2. There's a reason it's called a NEWSpaper (not an oldspaper). Bad journalist dad joke.
