  1. Brady's morning smoothie: 5 oz almond milk 5 oz hemp milk ½ cup frozen bananas ¼ cup walnuts 1 cup blueberries 1 tsp chia seeds 1 tbsp almond butter 1 scoop whey protein powder
  2. 2005: Russian President Vladimir Putin steals Robert Kraft's Super Bowl ring. 2005-2019: Something like 20 Russian dissidents are poisoned. Nov. 20, 2020: Belichick calls for military action in Armenia. Aug. 26, 2021: Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny is poisoned. Aug. 30, 2021: Tom Brady looks sick, days before his matchup with Belichick. Is "Would Belichick Resort to Biological Warfare?" even a question at this point?
  3. It was either that or bring out The Rolling Stones in wheelchairs.
  4. All this over a bottle of water? Goodness, people.
  5. It's like there is only so much good to be had in Buffalo. Our offense and defense rarely are good together. Years ago, it was our D shining. Last year, the offense. Our D line and blitz packages yesterday abused Miami. Allen was way off. Yet, we blanked a division rival and scored 35 points.
  6. To those saying it doesn’t matter, clearly it does matter statistically. You have a 50/50 chance of winning your first game. And you have 52 Superbowls, of which only one team with a week 1 loss at home has won? I’d be curious if someone who didn’t get a C in Statistics could calculate the odds.
  7. If you're a longtime follower of this message board, and I imagine any other board, you'll see "we were exposed" and "everyone, calm down" posts after every bad loss following hype. We win if: That punt hadn't been blocked And ... Josh connects with Emmanuel Sanders You can also say the same in reverse about any close win, of which we had plenty last year. But does anyone believe last year was hype? It wasn't. Our biggest problem last year was D line, which performed yesterday. Our team got better. Yesterday, Allen was off, Daboll for whatever reason didn't call enough runs, our line was pushed around a bit by a very good defense, and the Steelers benefited from a bad holding call or two. Willing to bet money they rebound next week with a more diverse attack.
  8. The first step is admitting it. The next is correcting it. Don’t be a slob. And don’t try. Do.
  9. This is why we can't have nice things. Why does God hate the Bills so much? Ralph is cheap.
  10. Isn't there a legal (and logical) statute of limitations for something like this? And concerning Nirvana baby, he has profited off this album cover, even doing promotional shoots a few years ago to celebrate an anniversary. If he didn't get royalties (not sure that is even correct) it's his parents' fault not Nirvana.
  11. I’m getting Sunday tix via my college friend. Live game in Tampa Bay. Bills Backer bar. Thinking of YouTube TV for the other games. Anyone used YOuTube for sports yet? It’s on sale for $55/mos.
  12. My simple measure of a serious fan is someone who can name all the starters, can name at least some of the balance of the roster, and knows the back story of many of the players. That is, a serious fan knows more about Josh than he grew up on a farm in California. I dont agree with this assessment. Not sure I can remember the name of every single starter if you put me on the spot with a pop quiz, let alone many of their back stories, but I hardly ever miss a game, read every bit of insight I can, attend at least one game a year, am in tune with their strengths and weaknesses, am genuinely interested in offensive and defensive schemes, am emotionally affected, and love the team. I actually have to force myself to take a break from news consumption and this board 😵‍💫 I consider myself a serious fan.
  13. Not sure I would remotely call this a “domestic fight“. The attacks of 9/11 were largely coordinated from Afghanistan. The Taliban housed and abetted the terrorists who planned these attacks. The invasion of Afghanistan was logical and in our best interest. Having said that, it’s shocking that in 20 years we haven’t taught these people to defend themselves and that they rolled over so easily, giving up their freedoms, dignity and a chance of a future. Perhaps the next time we choose to invade a country in our self interest, we take it over. Nation building does not appear to work.
  14. If you're going the classic rock theme, may I suggest Pink Floyd? Other ideas: A more modern example - Radiohead Shawshank Redemption I also support the Bill Murray idea
  15. The reclusive CEO is very focused on quality control and has said expansion to the East Coast ain't happening. El Pollo Loco maybe.
  16. My attempt at a ranking, best to worst: Drew Bledsoe Ryan Fitzpatrick Doug Flutie Tyrod Taylor Rob Johnson Trent Edwards JP Losman Kyle Orton Thad Lewis Jeff Tuel Kelly Holcomb Brian Brohm EJ Manuel ... ... ... 126. Nathan Peterman The dark days are over my friends. (Sorry, don't remember the likes of Todd Collins or Alex Van Pelt.)
  17. Find someone with a student email.
  18. He just wanted a chicken biscuit. Leave him alone.
  19. Weed is the official plant of Atlanta. Possession is largely decriminalized in city limits. And medical appears poised to pass the state.
  20. Joe Cribbs has something in the tank.
  21. My stripper and Catholic friends are all offended.
  22. The author wrote an opinion piece in the off-season about a QB who failed to live up to expectations and hype as a savior, a team that went 8-8 two years in a row, a QB (like Peterman) who played well in practice. It’s a fair opinion as far as opinions go. I could see our own reporters (or us) writing something similar if the role was reversed.
