  1. Our favorite intrepid investigative reporter says it's swine flu. This time his source is rock solid--Gwyneth Paltrow. If I'm wrong, may Tom Brady go bald. ...And LOL on the dirty, filthy Chippewa women post.
  2. I'll hold judgment till after the game tonight. Either way, I don't expect the Pats to "destroy" us, or the other way around. If their D is as mediocre as I think it may be, we have a legitimate shot. So pretty please, with sugar on top. Beat the f*$%ing Pats.
  3. At least we hope he is.
  4. With a little conditioning, even Mr. Pan could have scored in the 4th against that demoralized team. Gailey not only outcoached KC, he took away their will, yanked their collective soul out and spit chewing tobacco all over it...with a smile. Another, please.
  5. No. 1 passing rating for Week 1. No. 1 smartest QB. No. 1 best-looking team (don't buy it but I'll take it...Fitz looks like he should be pitch-forking hay on The Witness...but then again George Wilson probably gets more tail in one season than most of us do in our lives). Fitz...what a scrub. He should have thrown 6 TDs, not 4.
  6. Will have an educated analysis after the game tonight. But until then, I will say they are likely better than the Bills were at the start of last year: They have the sense to make Trent Edwards a third-stringer. My thoughts: Bowling ball running back. Weak passing game. An elusive but intellectually-challenged QB who scored like a 6 on the Wonderlic. A weak run defense, but solid secondary. That's just speculation, though. Barring any amazing play tonight, I think we are by far the better team. Haven't really felt that about any opponent in several years. I won't end with the "it's only the first week" cliche. I do think we're solid. But I will end with "let's see how we look against New England" cliche before I start getting all starry eyed.
  7. Sorry, Wild Bill it is. Also think we need to call Freddie Jackson "Waterfall."
  8. It was fun to watch him easily get first downs. But he has to be able to pass to be effective as a wildcat QB. Otherwise, he's just a third RB. Can't wait to see what he brings. What an exciting offense we have now.
  9. I'm with a lot of others. The physicality thing.
  10. First off, congrats to the Bills and Bills nation. What a convincing win. I'm proud of this team. Which is why I'm posting this. Just read a story in the KC Star--theme was Gailey planned to take the crowd out early. From the story: " When some in the stands began booing the home team, it was music to his ears. "That was a concern for us," Gailey said of the crowd factor. "But after we scored a couple times, they were more concerned about getting on their own team than they were about disrupting us." Fans, let's never be a factor in giving momentum to the other team. Have always had respect for the Arrowhead crowd, but how pathetic--it is pathetic--to be booing your own team so early, and then to be called out by the opposing coach. Next time you feel like booing the Bills, or leaving early, remember Bills V. Oilers, 1993. It's never over till it's over. That's enough preaching. Go Bills.
  11. This guy doesn't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGpQ4O0poB0 I am just relishing this convincing blowout. It's been a long time Bills fans. Not counting any chickens but not saying anything negative either. Just really happy about this team, its performance and its fans.
  12. He runs like a waterfall.
  13. He had a great game, and looks sharp. I'm willing to bet money KC didn't gameplan for him, though--he was wide open several times and no one outside Buffalo even knew about this guy. So...let's see how he does against Oakland. I am glad, however, that this team finally appears to have a TE who can block and catch. And enough of the "Gailey doesn't use tight ends" crowd. Every team needs a quality TE. This Bills fan hopes he is the next Metzalars.
  14. See ya there! This needs to have a permanent location on the site, for this season.
  15. And this might sound kind of weird. But we're believing in his beard... If the Bills win the next three, I'm growing one.
  16. Steelers over Lions.
  17. Merriman, Williams, Jackson, Dareous, Byrd, Johnson, Fitz. OK, let's have the reveal.
  18. If we're just talking about the incident, it's nothing. The guy shot himself. Idiot for not holstering his weapon, and not having it registered, but in the end he paid two years for a victimless crime. Stallworth killed a pedestrian, while under the influence, and got 30 days. I can't believe Plaxico even went to prison for such a thing, let alone two years. Potential douchebaggery aside, I hope he does well every day he's not playing the Bills.
  19. Jesus, that's inspiring. Thanks for the post.
  20. I have nothing to add to this discussion other than the fact that this thread topic is impossible not to open.
  21. The blue pants are more expensive. Ralph is cheap.
  22. Then don't click on the thread if you don't give a ****. Tired of the "I don't care if they wear X, just as long as they win" cliche. Can you at least acknowledge that the uniform is at least of mild interest to some fans? Also, Go Bills.
  23. Wow, thanks. Hope he's accurate on the O line being better. Don't quite buy his comments on the Evans trade. But overall, this gives me optimism.
  24. Yeah, I say bring on the blue pants. A little too much white in the aways. Anything is better than the Arena League unis from the past decade, though, so no complaints.
  25. Yeah, I could see the Amish Rifle in this ad.
