Agree. A little annoyed at Chan for moving most of the blame to the players. Two horrible gameplans in a row, and a complete inability to adjust. Time for Chan to man up here.

Our CBs were outmuscled on many plays and burnt on a couple. I don't think it's the play calling. We have great tacklers at LB and superstars in the making at Safety. But our lack of a pass rush is exposing our quite average CBs. McKelvin--I don't think the criticism on him is unfair. Dude just looks like a college player going up against above average receivers. Yeah, he's got the speed and maybe good hands, but he just seems to get manhandled when it counts.

Would like to see some meat backing the desire to fire him. Couldn't tell if we were blitzing or not. I could tell we weren't getting any pressure on Romo, which I thought was the thing to do given his propensity to make bad decisions when under fire. Also, the D has won us a number of games with INTs. So, I am inclined to disagree with the call to fire. We just aren't that talented at CB, and our Front 7 is lacking in depth. Our CBs were outmuscled all day. That is not the fault of the DC.

I'm glad to see a team exposing the ground and pound strategy, even if it is the hated Pats. Sure demolished us last week, but it's boring football relying on a conservative offense. And, as we saw this year, it doesn't usually work against prolific offenses such as GB, NO and NE. Now, we need to stop being so damn conservative. Don't understand why we've gotten away from what made us so competitive for the first few games. 99 percent screens and Freddy aren't going to get us very far.

Not at all. The one bright spot in the entire miserable game and someone has to trash it. It was funny, original and entertaining. Stop taking stuff so seriously. Next we'll have people saying Florence shouldn't have bluffed Sanchez last week when he lined up at wideout.

Fitz sucked. Big time. But Brady's arm with Manning's brain with Rodger's playmaking would not have, even remotely, won that game. Total team collapse. Did you even watch that game? Or were you too busy thinking about all the magical QBs you would have drafted if you were in charge? And who, exactly, is this magical QB you obviously had the vision of drafting? Further, how long do you want to wait for this magical QB? We've been waiting for over 10 years. Please enlighten us oh Enlightened One.

Rivers is a gritty QB who can make big plays. But the love fest he gets from announcers and pundits is weird. They were gushing over him last night. Yeah, he was harassed by the D all game. But so are a lot of QBs. There's just something wrong with the Chargers team. They play soft and just didn't appear to have intensity when the game was on the line the past two primetime games. That Vincent Jackson play at the end is mind boggling. OK he lost sight of the ball. But he just stood there as the Raider yanked the game away. Bizarre, and similar to the botched snap last week.

We also lost Lee Evans. Is it logical to say we're 5-3 because we don't have him? The whole point is moot. Wilson is an upgrade. And Donte single handidly won the Niners seven games? It's our decisions, in entirety, as well as the Niners, that have improved both of these teams. Donte had little impact for us compared to Wilson.

It's not that we didn't want to win. It's just that it's hard to win in the NFL. I will say we had a ****ty culture under Jauron. Bad draft picks. Utterly boring football. No winning spark. This team had a spark the first game he was removed. It's improved tremendously from that since Capt. Checkdown was jettisoned. Actually, I would agree with Donte, whom I've never had a negative thought of until seeing that video. He's totally right: We don't want to win. Now, we expect it. Go Bills.

No. I am saying it's faulty logic to say this, therefore that. Wilson and Byrd are better, in my opinion, but regardless it's not logical to say his presence in SF made them 7-1. If anything, with all of Wilson's INTs, and good tackling (like Whitner), it's helped us.

And we're 5-3 without him. Post hoc ergo something or other logic there.

I don't see any reason why, in future land, we won't be able to choose which angle to watch--including the All 22.

I was just thinking how nice it would be to be able to watch pre-recorded footage and to choose which angle, including this all 22, to view. Also never heard of the Buffalo Range. Design kind of gives me a headache. TBD is a much nicer place!

We need to figure out how to pass the ball again. This D is not built to stop sustained running games. We win a shootout, because Romo will be picked off and our secondary thrives on aggressive play. If we rely on the run, they will run it down our throats and win. That's my two cents. Course, I thought we were going to run it down the Jets throat and win. We all know how that went. We really want this win. The Cowboys, however, need it...and they're at home. We need to put this game out of reach early. I hope Chan and Co. get innovative, and aggressive, again. During the first few games, Chan said we were a pass to set up the run team. We've since reverted to a run to set up the pass team. That has not worked two out of three games. Plus, we can't rely on field goals.

The article didn't offer anything we haven't been saying all year. But to call him a bust is silly. He doesn't get touches. And when he does, he gets some decent yards. But you can't take too much away from Fred, who, even against the Jets, who everybody is saying gameplanned against him, still got 100-plus all-purpose yards. Chan needs to stop two-stepping around this issue and find a way to get Spiller into this offense. He's got to be better than Brad Smith has been returning kicks, Fred can't get it all the time, and we have a need for a viable receiver. Half the time, we're running four and five receiver sets. Find a way to get him in the game without disrupting Fred. He's too talented to be sitting on the sidelines...and defenses are starting to figure us out.

I remember a game back in the late 90s when Brett Favre and the Packers had both kickers injured, so they went for two every time. They won. Never have understood why punters don't kick field goals and vice-versa. Skill sets seem pretty similar to me. Also don't know what's happened to our Special Teams. Used to be our lone bright spot.

I also believe in him, and this team--for the first time in a long time. But to answer the OPs question, uh, no. You don't not focus on a game, against a tough division rival, that can help solidify a playoff berth, to focus on a game against a lesser NFC opponent. Totally outcoached.

...And a few unlucky breaks from 7-1. Ridiculous statement. There is no comparison from last year's squad to this year's. We played a bad game--first one of the year. Bad play calling, bad gameplan, somewhat bad execution. Our D showed up yesterday despite the bad offense, and we were victimized by some bad officiating. We lead the league in INTs, have the No. 1 rusher, are No. 5 in total points, have the No. 9 QB, are 5-3, and tied for 1st place in the AFC East.

My thoughts exactly. Boring game. Had to drink a Red Bull, and a shot of tequila, to stay energized at the sports bar. OK, I would have drunk the tequila anyway, but one thing you can say about the Bills this year, they have been exciting to watch. Fans here, and in the stands, did seem a bit sleepy.

This one is completely on the offensive play calling. Our D, despite getting run on, held them to only 6 points by the half. You can't expect any D to hold up to that kind of possession time. We needed to keep our O on the field. We didn't. We didn't seem to make any adjustments at halftime either. I agree with some of the posters--we played scared (offensively). Can't always rely on Fred, as good as he is. Kudos to our secondary, the only bright spot of that horrible game. Should have had two interceptions, and that holding call was extremely suspect. Chan will have em ready for the Cowboys.

Had nothing to do with our wretched loss, but let's not wear white at home again unless there's a really good reason...and let's never give out pom poms. Still don't understand why the Bills did this.

I agree with all of these points. I have it on special authority, though, that we have an extra ace up our sleeve: The Jills, Chan Gailey, George Edwards and the entire coaching staff will be barefoot. Rex will simply not be able to concentrate. Ack...can't believe I just said that.

Have all the fun you want--this isn't English class--but huge blobs of sentences are tough on the eyes. On a more important note, I also would like to see tears in Sanchez' eyes and I fully anticipate the grounding of the Jersey Jets fleet. Go Bills. What a bad-ass bunch of football fans we are criticizing each others' sentence structures. And what a difference from Jets boards. Half of their posters can't even spell let alone debate the proper use of ellipses and paragraph breaks.
