The Chargers are a contender, preseason, nearly every year - whether Rivers or Herbert are behind center. Great offensive weapons, DBs, etc. But, each year, regardless of coach, they fall when the chips are in. They don't know how to win close games. They just fold. How can this be the MO for a team with so many different coaches and players and regimes? The only common thread is ownership. And perhaps a weak fanbase.
