Another nail in the coffin of journalism. As a former reporter and avid news reader since I was 10, I feel like the idea of being the eyes and ears of the people and providing insight and checks and balance for our govt long ago passed the media by. And in a one newspaper town, there is no competition to challenge the BN, which as a paper can't hold a candle to real big city papers. So by charging for poor content written by underskilled, under informed reporters, it's easy to walk away. It is odd after 25+ years of reading the paper everyday to stop cold turkey but I doubt I'm missing anything!!!! Good riddance.

I've been saying it for years about Sulllivan... The guy is a bitter angry columnist in a one newspaper town with the 47th largest circulation in the country. Nationally bes equivelant to the Hamburg Sun locally! And somehow he's an expert? Stop reading the guy, he's irrelevant. Complete ahole. Filing a class action lawsuit over 3 extra texts message? Talk about a small, petty life this loser is leading. I'll be the first to say I'm on do not call lists and I hate spam, but I also don't bother with text alerts. So if you're so unstable that you can't handle 3 extra texts over a 14 day period (what a distraction to one's life that must be, how can you get anything done), then you shouldn't be signing up for ANY alerts to begin with. If I understand correctly, this guy can handle 5 texts, but not 6. This will get tossed. He failed to cancel the service after the first "extra" text so he basically approved the extra by continuing. Sadly, the American court system is a mess too for allowing such a frivolous waste of taxpaying money enevn clocking this in.

Wow, have you missed the point. Gailey takes the ball from the playmakers (Spiller, Jackson) and puts it in the hands of the QB who has proven over and over and over and over that he's incapable of making plays, throwing downfield, having ANY accuracy (and I do mean any because he missed short throws a high school kid makes), and is prone to turnovers when the pressure is one. If for one second you want to base this coach on plays that weren't made, you're clueless. How a coach game plans and how he comes back from bad plays signifies who it is, not some assumption you make that IF Chandler catches the ball MAYBE the play calling is different. It hasn't been and wouldn't have been Gailey sucks, it's that simple. High school coaches run the ball because they're QBs suck, so why is Gailey infatuated with allowing this noddle-armed reject to break this team?

Coaching, plain and simple. Gailey thinks he's so smart that he can outcoach other teams by doing the opposite of what they expect. they expext a smart coach to utilize his teams' strengths, in this case his running game, and instead this jerkoff throws tiwce as much as he runs, with a subpar QB no less. I live in the most backwards city in America., one hat can't make compounds bad decisions with more bad decisions.
