The refs just guess like 90% of the time. Ultimately I think the Eagles player had it though on the ground before it was ripped out.

I dont think they were comparable. Dawkins play was in no way shape or form a hold. The Tre play was a harsh call, but contact happened and Coleman sold it well. To a ref in real time it looked a lot like interference.

The eye in the sky has to overturn these egregious bad calls before they are announced. The refs can have a conference once they are buzzed down by it and then pick up the flag. Otherwise bring in a coaches challenge on penalties, one per half. I dont care what angle you might have viewed that from as an official, it doesnt look like a hold. And if you cannot see it then dont throw the flag.

If its based on the regular season Jackson edges Allen in the MVP on stats, but if you include playoffs, Allen wins. Lamar just doesnt perform at a high level in the pressure situations and doesnt seem to have the urgency that Allen does. None of that of course matters to the National Media who want to continue with the narrative about Lamar. It seems to tick all the boxes, especially in hype filled NFL. The fact that he cannot do it in the playoffs is conveniently omitted.
