Probably right but it should have been ruled a catch first by the officials. But of course its the NFL where guessing about the play is the norm. -

Defense needs a stop desperately. But in true bad game McD fashion they will probably give up a score. Nice that McD is staying positive, I would be blasting them right now! -

We can only win in a track meet it seems. Trouble is that our Offense cannot score TDs so its the most one sided track meet ever held. -

How many times have you seen McD's defense just gift a team a TD on a short tackle missed drive that swings the momentum. Its one of the strangest things about his tenure how they can look so good sometimes then amateur hour the next. -
FFS. I dont remember when we were great in the 90s getting so many bad injuries to our stars like we have had in the past 3 years. Some of course but not this regular list of players being out for weeks and sometimes months. I know the NFL is bigger, heavier, faster and more dangerous than those day but we have no luck.

I look at Tasker like a few other Bills on that 90s run. He was a great player but probably 1 tier below HOF level. Definitely in the Bills HOF though.

Who was Josh gonna throw to on the “flea flicker” ?
Livinginthepast replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually looking at this replay, it appears that Josh was supposed to reverse the direction to keep going towards the other sideline and throw. There's only one Jag on that side (bottom of the screen) and he appears to be blocked. Instead Josh? made the decision to go towards the top of the screen sideline (where all the Jags players were headed to because the misdirection kinda worked) and gets swallowed and almost killed. In either case nobody might have been open but had Josh gone in the reverse direction he wouldnt have been pancaked and the fumble never happens. He also might have had room to run himself for some yards. -

I'd love for us to trade for Amari Cooper
Livinginthepast replied to Trust The Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
We definitely need some help on both sides of the ball. Cooper would be a great rental. Did he play for the Panthers? otherwise he would be here already. -

The absolute best sports show of the 80s/90s. Maybe ABC/ESPN lost the rights to the full highlights or some other explanation, but ending it was one of the worst decisions ever. -

Derrick Henry is 3-3 in W/L against the Bills with McD but in 2 of those wins he has huge numbers. In some games the Bills have had the answer to him but last night it was as if they forgot everything. Letting him get a full head of steam as he got to the LOC or getting to the outside was not just on the Bills players but on the defensive coaches for not putting the players in the right contain positions. In addition to that, we only started blitzing in the 2nd half after several series of no pressure whatsoever. Why was that? Finally our zone defense was woeful last night and with the lack of pass rush made things so easy for Jackson. We should have been playing man coverage which would have made Jackson make decisions under pressure. Last night though the Ravens receivers were so wide open a high school QB could have completed the throws. I dont understand why none of this was noticed until halftime and some of it not noticed or adjusted to at all. Who are the guys upstairs? -
So far WR group looks like a dumpster fire
Livinginthepast replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
The one thing they missed in Digg's absence tonight wasnt just the catches, it was Diggs attitude. None of the Raven defenders looked the least bit intimidated or threatened by our receivers. Yes Diggs did have a bad attitude in some areas but that bad attitude could be directed against the opposition quite effectively. -
The hit on Josh after the fumble was legal and the norm in the NFL of the 80s. It was definitely unnecessary roughness in todays NFL and there is no way in hell that Brady gets hit like that 5 years ago or Mahomes today without drawing a flag. The officials in this league are beyond stupid for not protecting him and sending a message to defenses to let up on a play where the player is defenseless, especially a QB. How the so called "eye in the sky ref" wouldn't have immediately buzzed the ref to inform his clueless ass is baffling. It would not have made a difference in the game as Josh had already fumbled but still it was BS from the officials.
