There are gurus in the NFL who are brought in for QBs, coaches, etc. Are there no kicking specialists that can analyze Bass' mechanics and see what the problem is?

Week 7 - Titans at Bills Game Week Thread
Livinginthepast replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Promised my sons I would take them to a game this year and I think this one may be the one. I havent been to a Bills game since probably 2006? so obviously a lot has changed. I have read a few threads about ticket buying strategy and my apologies as I feel like I am a complete noob at this. But is Stub Hub the best place to get tickets from at this stage? Also I have read some horror stories about parking. When I used to go every year from 1998 to 2006, We would park at that private field lot just behind the 7 eleven like store across from the stadium lots. Is that parking still there? or long gone? Any help would be appreciated. -
There have been several great coaching games by McD where he has prepared the team, come up with a great game on offense and defense and emotionally prepared them. But incredibly there have been several awful games on McD's resume of the exact opposite. But the worst part of McD's game is the heat of the moment decision making. Last night, he screwed up yet again and looked like someone who had never coached football before or even was familiar with the sport. Definitely he looked like a guy who had never watched Aaron Rodgers highlights from his career. The decision to rush 2 insured that one of the greatest QBs at throwing a Hail Mary ever would not only get to throw the ball, but he would do so unmolested and unhurried to further enhance his chances. Unless McD was trying to throw the game, it was the worst possible decision at that moment. Which is exactly what I said about his Houston strategy. Was he trying to lose the game or is he a complete moron?

Actually my dig at the refs was only about last nights game. I have no recollection of the refs being bad during the strike games. I think you are right that the officials during the strike were probably were like NHL refs in the 3rd period of a playoff game , they put their whistles and flags away and let them play. But last night the refs just added to the farce that the game became.

I have a vague memory of this game. I can remember the commentator I think it was Al Michaels? openly mocking the horrible play and then joking that one of the Giants players whose last name was "Lovelady" being "caressed to the ground" by the Bills player in his tackle. For those who don't remember the strike season, picture the worst preseason game you can remember and then multiply that by 10! Last night did have some of that feeling with the ill disciplined feel, sloppy play and shambolic officiating.

[Vague Title] Was it Fumble
Livinginthepast replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
1. Not a pass as the ball never leaves his hand at the full extent of his arm like a normal throw. 2. If it was a pass, it must be a lateral (or backwards) based on the angle of the throw. This means that it has to be a fumble recovered by the Bills. I thought the initial call was this recovered by the Bills. Yet the "replay assist"? overturned the call. Without ANY compelling evidence to the contrary. 3. Rodgers literally drops the ball out of his hand like people do when they are doing a Mic drop. Clear fumble all day long. 4. The refs pulled out the "You cannot challenge this rule" BS even though it was outside of 2 minutes. Not sure how that was legit? 5. Tuck rule supposedly was changed in 2013 so it cant be that kind of incompleted pass. 6. If it was a fumble from the start, it looked like the Jets player somewhat recovered it but on replay it went through his legs and was not a clear recovery before the Bills player snatched it. Bottom line is the NFL has made of a mess of their own stupid rules yet again.
