  1. He has college and NFL experience. I hope he can be innovative and make adjustments. The National Championship game showed him and Saban make some bold moves and play calling. I am cautiously optimistic!!
  2. I am hoping that St.Doug is humble enough to learn from the master patriot slayer. If he can take advice from Coughlin and if the refs can stay out of it and they somehow get some breaks they can win. Of course the chances of this kind of interplanetary alignment of luck/strategy and refs is very rare vs the Pats!
  3. That game was like a showcase of terrible coaching and play calling decisions for the Steelers. Hard to believe that Tomlin won a SB with such bad decision making thinking on his feet.
  4. So they didn't even bother to try an onside kick they just conceded and kicked it down field??!!! WHAT??!!! I know its low percentage like probably 1% chance of a TD there but what the hell give it a try!!
  5. Here we go Onside Kick for a TD!!! I have only ever seen one go the other way for a TD but good luck Steelers!
  6. You have to give credit to the Jags they have been clutch all day today. Big plays, big responses, they have gone toe to toe in a slug fest with a more experienced team with a 2time SB winner at QB. I disrespected them a lot before the Bills game but they have proved me wrong.
  7. Wow worst onside kick ever, would have probably worked vs the Bills though had the Steeler player not touched it.
  8. wow another wicked pass TD backwards!!! this game is awesome!
  9. You cannot be serious!! You would begrudge Marrone and the Jags over the Pats?? Cmon the Jags beat us fair and square. They are smashing the Steelers, if they beat the Pats they would deserve all the credit in the world.
  10. Theres the dagger!!
  11. IS the Jags oline that good ? why no blitzs on Bortles???
  12. Steelers pass D is breaking down to Blake Bortles no less!! Huge play to a wide open guy.
  13. A little late on the body slam on Big Ben. Inept refs not even slightly aware.
  14. To Quote Dennis Green, the Jags were who we thought they were.........and we let em off the damn hook!!! I think the Bills just match up better to the Jags than the Steelers do. The Bills still should have had that game with even the slightest effort by TT.
  15. OMG I think Bortles just made the throw his life and won this game
  16. Why is 4th and 1 the hardest call in the NFL????. Why does nobody but the Pats sneak it!! ????
  17. Big Stop for the Jags D. relieves the pressure for now.
  18. Need the Steelers to tie this then you will the smile come off Bortles and the INT machine rear its ugly head!!
  19. Wow when Bortles cannot escape and run and is forced to throw he sucks!! what a shocker.
  20. no spy on Bortles wtf Steelers!!
  21. The Jags now have to rely on the run game to keep pounding and the plan B is Bortles. Better continue the game of your life Fournette!!
  22. another superb throw by Big Ben wow
  23. wow the Jags get hosed by bogus Unsportsmanlike pen
  24. They were down 14 pts they had to get back in the game quick before the half. They started passing more and running less. With each series their playcalling became more desperate and more poorly thought out. The last Jags series of the half was indicative of this. Hurried poor decisions by coaches and players. The last thing that the Titans wanted to do was to have Mariota win the game for them by passing because of his penchant for taking sacks. This is exactly what transpired. There's no way this was their original game plan.
  25. It wasn't a blowout when the PI call on the Titans happened or the when the offside happened. However it was game changing because as I clearly pointed out the Titans abandoned the game plan after the resulting Pats TD and momentum swing. I don't think the Titans win this game anyway but whatever chance they had starts to evaporate quickly right at that point due to the refs feeling the need to get overly involved in the game. I'd much rather the refs call less and put the flags away than have them influence the outcome with marginal, bad or phantom calls.
