I think one of these was on the drive right after the Pats TD that made it 20-17 3rd down. The Pats DB was early and seemed to impede the Jags player. No call and no replay despite how huge the incompletion was. The Pats got away with a bunch of key holds on some big plays that were instrumental in their plays working. The refs just don't believe that the Pats O line even come close to holding apparently even when its obvious. The only PI call I object to was the one at the end of the half. All these people saying it was obvious PI must be kidding. Both players were battling, the Pats receiver even has some of Bouye's jersey for a second, then he veers out of bounds and appears to end the play by batting Bouyes in the head with his forearm. Bouyes turned and faced the ball. I think it was textbook great coverage and a perfect place for a non call. The official who called it was on the wrong side and made the wrong call. What was so weird to me on that play was the official who threw the flag's "excitement" at throwing the flag, He acted like "heres my big moment!!!" then he proceeds to visibly demonstrate what the call is and who its against before the ref does!! I cannot ever remember seeing that before. It was such a strange moment. Isnt it the ref's discretion on what actual penalties are called and if they stand?? But no this official decided it already!! The bottom line for me is that the refs didn't win this game for NE. They just made it slightly easier when things were looking bad. Yes the superstar Pats won it by themselves aided and abetted by some key bad calls by Hacket and some crucial poor plays by the Jags. That last Jags punt for instance. Of all the times to kick it just 41 yards that was not it. Then a 20 yard return by Amendola. It was just so sickening, so familiar. The Pats get all the breaks, they know how to do it when the pressure's on and the script plays out as usual.

Actually I think it makes you look blind. They both had their hands up against each other and the Pats player shoves Bouye's helmet. No PI at all or at worst offsetting PIs.

Totally ridiculous call!! And the official that called it looked a little too excited about the penalty, even telling the ref and the stadium who it was against. When was the last time you saw an official do that who wasn't the ref, before the ref called it on the mike!!!? Hilarious how crooked this appears!!

On the PI call in the red zone, the Pats receiver hits the jags defenders helmet with his arm and they call PI on the Jags??? Huh?

I cannot think of any reason why I would want to pose for a pic near a guy who murdered his own kids mother and another innocent human being. These guys in the pic are just some of many people who even now are adding to OJ's sense of invincibility re his celebrity. I think AH had the same sense that he too could get away with anything as well. Would Pats fans be so desperate that they would have their photos taken with AH if he had gotten away with it too? Pathetic!!

I sure as hell hope he does make things more like college.. ie INTERESTING!!!!! Nothing was worse than watching that boring Bills offense last year, with its boring vanilla plays and its complete lack of deception and total lack of sophistication. It was like Dennison was completely terrified of what TT might do if he called a complex play. TT for his part apparently cannot execute a complex play even if its designed for him!! Watching the Bowl games and national championship always brings me back to why I love football as a sport. You see innovative and aggressive offensive units who are unafraid to unleash their players! I hope we get some of that next year!

Kraft must be furious he wasn't given his usual gang of crooks or incompetents for the game. A guy who has never had a Pats game???? How dare they. I shake my head at guys like Dareus. The same way I cannot understand guys like Karlos Williams or all the other morons who have made it to the NFL and instead of being grateful for being the best of the best and getting paid like a king, decide instead to blow it by acting stupid, doing drugs whatever . Dareus is not a particularly skilled player. He got to the NFL by his rare genetics of being the size of a house. For him to not appreciate where he is at in life or how much he got paid and is getting paid is pretty galling. All you have to do is show up on time, avoid some vices and you'll make enough for life, for your kids lives, grandkids, parents whatever. He had so many chances to get it right here and he was lazy entitled and stupid. He just sounds like a petty little man for such a big guy. Good riddance and good luck avoiding the next personal f'up when you get suspended for a year.
