  1. Bengals had that game and blew it yet again. Their fumble at 21-7 was the turning point. Could have closed it out with a score on that drive and we would have probably seen the appearance of Panic Lamar. That would have been a real test for him but the Bengals let him off the hook.
  2. The game in 2018 was one of the worst Bills games I have ever watched and I lived through the Hank Bullough years! Derek Anderson was abysmal!!
  3. So we'd like teams to run instead of pass, but who cares in games when we cant stop the run? Is the strategy that an opposition running filled drive will take longer and that somehow helps us? while exhausting our defense? and keeping our high powered offense off the field? Huh?
  4. An unfortunate photo, he looks like he belongs on "Little People, Big World" in that pic!
  5. The standard of officiating has been declining for more than 20 years in the NFL and even with replay and now "Eye in the Sky", they still cannot get it right. One of the calls vs TB for holding in the first half was obviously a guess. Like many holding calls, there was nothing obvious about it even in slow mo, let alone in real time from an official on the field. So why call that penalty? If the NFL doesn't want to introduce a coach's challenge for bad penalties, then they should overturn BS penalties with the eye in the sky or call missed ones when they are egregious like Darnold's facemask a couple of weeks ago.
  6. Actually I was thinking Chiefs but yes good point, TB was even worse with their key injuries, which makes their effort last night even more impressive and the KC performance even more underwhelming.
  7. Another tease game for KC. TB D was pretty good all night, Mahomes looked like he might have been injured on that TD pass. Chiefs really undermanned with injuries. Officials were bias of course but with all that Mayfield takes them down the field for the tie and then of course thats when the tired TB defense gives out. Just sickening because the Chiefs are 8-0 but somehow look beatable every week.
  8. Bass misses PAT but kicks a FG that could have been from 70 yards!
  9. Wow what a pass rush today, total garbage. And nobody on that Dolphins player in the end zone?
  10. Maybe cover Hill or gets some pressure? Just a thought?
  11. Now can we finally have a solid defensive series where we have some intelligent playcalls?
  12. Another patented McD defensive cave in.
  13. Rushing 4 there? why? and where was the spy?
  14. So they have an mysterious "eye in the sky" official who sometimes corrects a bad call before it gets announced but they couldnt use this person on that non existent holding call? They couldnt have buzzed down to the field to tell them that there was no holding call?? Then what is the point of the eye in the sky?
  15. I will say it again. Get a coaches challenge system for penalties. 1 per half allowed. There was no holding whatsoever on the TD and none the play after. The NFL officials are the most incompetent in pro sports.
  16. Coleman's gaffe there just reinforces that old school "catch it in the breadbasket" catches are a lost art with modern NFL receivers.
  17. Jets pass defense was decent and their rushing schemes last night seemed to have really confused Stroud. You have to give these coaches some credit on the Jets defensive staff they got great pressure and if Stroud wasnt getting sacked or tackled hard, they were following through with hits after he released it.
  18. Nice to see the Jets put the Texans away, but what a horrible game for both teams. I shake my head wondering how we blew it against the Texans. Coaching blunders, the Diggs effect? Josh having his worst game? But even with those 3 factors, the Texans looked so bad last night and Stroud so ordinary.
  19. This game is not NFL quality. The fumbles, incompletions and bumbling offenses on both side combined with that bonehead dropping the ball before he crossed the goal line had made it unwatchable. It really resembles a bad preseason game.
  20. My friends and I used the word Spaz (also Spazoid) regularly as 13 year olds in the early 80s to mock each other after an inevitable act of uncoordination or to describe an angry teacher! who would get riled up for nothing. Its kind of odd to use it to describe Josh though, Sugar high I get, but spaz doesnt work for me!
  21. Dabol got a bit full of himself as a QB mentoring guru with Josh and and has no wizardry with Jones. The Giants would be a decent team with Flacco or Winston or even a guy as washed as Andy Dalton. Too bad for them that the Commanders got Daniels.
  22. I watched this clip a few years ago and when I saw it I racked my brain as to why I only had a vague memory of it happening. Even as a kid I used to watch the Bills every week back then. The 1980 season was awesome and so was this season (1981) but thanks for explaining the blackout. I should have been watching on CH2 NBC out of Buffalo back then but the NFL's draconian blackout rules put the kibosh on that. I probably saw the highlights on the 6pm news that night. Too bad, an awesome piece of Bills history, would have loved to have seen it live.
  23. Oddly, I was telling my kids about the misses in the Bills drafts because they asked me about Brady (prompted by him being a commentator yesterday). That of course prompted me to say " gather around kids and I will tell you the story of the legend of JP.Losman. A player whose last name foreshadowed his career".
  24. A great game yesterday but my favorite part was our fans at the end filling the lower sections. They literally owned that stadium ! Great job!!
