Brady is way better than Dorsey (but that isnt saying much). He runs a solid conservative offensive game plan that works most of the time. I would just like him to throw in a wrinkle here and there and not make things so obvious. He has tried one trick play (Ravens) that got blown up and weirdly has been too scared to revisit the concept. Dabol used trick plays to great effect in his time here. In addition scheme some guys open deep. Josh definitely has the arm. Finally can we please work on bubble screens. This team hasnt been able to do them with regularity in what seems like forever. Yesterday worked great but we wont always have opponents who beat themselves like the Jets.

Might have been his best play as a Bill!

WEEK 2. 9/14/2025. Around the rest of the NFL.

So much for the chip being in the ball to give an accurate reading of where the ball is compared to the goal line. -

OMG Brady does 1 good play call followed by 2 terrible ones. Dorsey 2.0. -

Bogus OPI call ends the drive. Coleman caressed the Jets player at most. -

Josh, dont risk your hand with an unnecessary stiff arm. -
I dont usually start a debate or banter with "F off" but this idea is so egregiously stupid and offensive its absolutely deserves no consideration whatsoever. The Bills in Toronto series was probably the nadir of the franchise. Playoff drought, An aged owner who ran the team poorly and hired terribly, a mostly mediocre to poor team that choked when it mattered and soulless awful venue (the skydome). All in all, a total embarrassment for the fanbase. Let's never revisit this idiocy ever again!

Interesting in-game convo between Shakir and Palmer
Livinginthepast replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady has to stop being scared of unleashing Josh to get the ball downfield. I'm sick of these hitch screens that go nowhere (or backwards). He also has to introduce more motion and misdirection in the offense. We need some trickery in this offense. Dabol was able to maximize the offense by doing this, then Dorsey threw that all away. Brady is still acting like a new young driver with his dad's corvette, occasionally tapping the gas but a bit scared to go full throttle. He also seems scared to trust the offense with a complicated play (as if they are rookies). Time for that to stop. -
Have the Jets ever felt like a real rival?
Livinginthepast replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I never really hated the Jets as a Bills rival. That was always Miami until the Pats eclipsed them for 20 years. There have been a few games vs the Jets that have peaked my disgust at them (or at the Bills for losing to them). One of them was this one from 2002 when we got to see Eddie Robinson get faked out of his shoes by Chad Pennington (which basically signaled the end of him as a quality player). The second was the JP Losman fumble and return for a TD in 2008 which also epitomized his career in Buffalo. Its nice that the Bills success has made the drought years debacles fade away! -
Ed Oliver hit on 3rd down last drive. Wow

Ed was a difference maker on Sunday. That's the player we thought we would get when we got him. -
After the utter debacle of officiating vs KC you would think the billion $ league would fix the problem immediately. But no!! No replay assist for the Allen or Shakir plays and a dubious call on the Ravens punt downing. Where is the chip in the ball and the VAR like measurement of where it is compared to the field? Year after year the NFL is the worst officiated pro sport.

No Preseason For Starters and Slow Start
Livinginthepast replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall
In game preseason experience is really important, even for veterans but the problem is that the NFL is now a league of super fast, strong physical giants. It would be terrible for us to lose a starter in a nothing game. This is far more likely to happen than even 10 years ago. What really concerns me is that a slow unprepared start has reared its head several times in the McD era. He has been Jekyll and Hyde with this since he started here. Some games the Bills look like they have studied film and have done a great job prepping for the game, others they look hungover or like they ate a bowl of Crisco for a pregame meal. -
Brady's offense desperately needs some misdirection and some trickery. We dont have the Oline for smash mouth "I dare you to stop it" one yard runs and we are 50/50 on tush pushes. Play action reverse naked bootleg (Flutie style vs Jacksonville) might be a good idea.

I think if Lamar or any of the players had done the Lambeau Leap into our crowd they would deserve some rough treatment but a fan reaching in like and touching, let alone slapping a player should be banned for life. I hope those weren't his season ticket seats that the idiot just forfeited forever. The dude in question should have been satisfied with just screaming obscenities at the Ravens or maybe an offensive gesture, but he went full r*tard.
-
In the end, pro players (whatever the sport) should never react at all to ahole fans, verbally or physically. Bad idea every time. You are paid to ignore them.

Beat me to it! My first reaction when I saw Lamar. Then I thought of this one from the 90s too:

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Livinginthepast replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Aside from one clueless missed block on the Cook long play, Keon was superb tonight. To me he also looks like he has added some muscle and is way more confident in year 2. -
Ed Oliver is as good as I've seen him today

Easily his best game as a Bill. Huge plays on Jackson and two on Henry including an angry tackle and the strip!! -
