Thanksgiving Day game thread (no Bills stuff please)
Livinginthepast replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
They should really have at least 24 points so far, if not 28. -
This is exactly why Moore must be "neutralized" before he goes to the Pats and reveals all the secrets of Brady's juggernaut offense!!

Can he edge out Aaron Maybin?

Oliver Still Leads Bills in TFL, 2nd in Sacks

Beane actually relied on Ed to stay healthy for an entire season, which was a really lousy gamble. He also didnt bring in enough backup talent because we are hamstrung by the cap. Combine this with McD's supposedly complicated defense (why???) and we have ended up here. The fact that Shaq Lawson is back is testament to that. Just ridiculous ! -
These are things that you would assume: 1. The Bills worked on these offensive plays in practice and had some alternates if they dont work. 2. On defense that they studied game film on their opponents offenses and practiced all kinds of scenarios and paid attention to the opposing team's tendencies 3. That they had spotters in the booth analyzing what their opponents were doing in game and making adjustments not just in game but in the particular drive of the game (whether the Bills were on offense or defense). Thats what I would assume the Bills are doing. You can see other NFL teams (at least the good ones) doing this in game. Then again the performance vs the Dolphins, Falcons and Texans games would strongly suggest otherwise.

Collective Failure in Houston-- Jim Kubiak BN
Livinginthepast replied to Casey D's topic in The Stadium Wall
We were at our own 33/34 so normally speaking on a 4th and 1 that early (only 3 mins in the game) we punt. However we had just intercepted Tua and we really needed to establish something early and punish the Dolphins. Any time you get a turnover you have to convert that into some points and grab the momentum. And with this current erratic Bills squad that is key. Once the Bills punted it probably felt to the Dolphins that we let them off the hook and they just reset. -
They have a great coach and GM, They have a stud receiver in Nacua and a Vet QB Stafford who is channeling Brady/Brees late career quality. They looked great yesterday. The only problem is that they might be peaking too early.

Its good that some teams hold their coaches accountable for incompetence. In Brady's case though its more than just a poor offensive gameplan. He almost got Josh killed on Thursday. That combined with the ineptitude in the play calling should get him canned.
