Statistics aside, players like Kurt Warner and Joe Namath changed the culture of not only their franchises, but also the NFL, which alone should get them in to the Hall of Fame. That is why players with superior statistics are not elected, they left no memorable impact on the game.

It's easy to forget that Tyrod was drafted in 2011 and he sat behind a Super Bowl winning quarterback. He is not a rookie or in a sophomore year, this is who he is.

The reason the Lions would part ways with Stafford is because he will be owed a lot of money over the next two seasons, money they could use to rebuild. It's not guaranteed money so that would make it a little easier to trade him. He needs a change of scenery and I would take a quarterback with a 5000 yard season under his belt who is only 27 years old over anything we have know.

Have there been any rumblings about the possibility of trading for Stafford? Mort & Schefter of ESPN report that he could be available if the Lions want to make a move towards the future. He has no guaranteed money past this year and although comes with a hefty price tag is a franchise quarterback with proven numbers. Thoughts?

As someone who lives in St. Louis and listens to local sports radio daily I can tell you that the Rams and the city of St. Louis are ready to move on from Bradford. They are trying to negotiate for a new stadium and Jeff Fisher needs to produce results or he will find himself out of a job so I could easily see them trading Bradford for a 3rd or less just to shed the salary and attempt to breathe some life in the Rams (at least that is the local speculation).

Also noticed that the people getting dunked on were fans of playoff teams....at least we have this video.

There are actually a good number of Bills fans down here in St. Louis. Not sure why it is news, I just felt really embarrased about it. I don't think I have encountered anything like it elsewhere, especially here where things are pretty classy and organized...not once have I been harassed for being from out of town.

I went to put on my Bills jersey this morning but couldn't do it. All I could think was what is the point. Think I am going to let my daughter grow up a Rams fan. There is no way I could subject her to this torture. When is the draft again? No hope.

I just don't see the point to using the #8 on any of these QBs. If next years draft class is shaping up to be better, why not just see what you have in Kolb, use this draft to fill other needs, and try again next year. None of these quarterbacks seem to offer anything more than Kolb does.

A mediocre coach and play caller. What wonders has he done for Fitzpatrick? His numbers really justified that contract extension. Its time to bring in someone who can make adjustments when needed.
