  1. Looking at the stats for this season and the only player we have in the top 30 in any offensive statistic is Josh Allen at 29th in passing yards just ahead of Garappalo. I thought Dabol was going to play the matchups.
  2. McDermott is incapable of putting together an offensive playbook, hiring competent offensive coaches, and evaluating offensive talent. He would make a great defensive coordinator, but is overmatched as a head coach.
  3. Not necessarily outraged, but this start has made me question the ability of McDermott and Beane to properly evaluate talent. I also have no faith in the coaching staff to adapt their gameplan, which is going to get Allen hurt.
  4. Even with favorable calls towards the Bills, the Packers would have still spanked us.
  5. Why can’t we hire coaches that no how to make adjustments? How hard can it be to find one?
  6. Maybe we can set the record for lowest QB rating over the season? Is it too early to be on the fire McDermott/Beane bandwagon?
  7. I got a phone call when it happened so I was distracted, but did the Packers kill Kelvin Benjamin?
  8. Rodgers is going to pick this defense apart in the second half (more so than he is doing now). He is going to hang at least 250 and 3 the rest of the game.
  9. Some of these scores are like the ones they would put out in the old Bill Swerski's Super Fans skits. That being said....Vikings 45, Bills 3 on a late field goal in the 4th.
  10. How many times in a row do we get blown out before McDermott gets his walking papers?
  11. It can be said that for one glorious night, Frank Reich was the greatest of all time.
  12. That decision should be tied to a pink slip for McDermott.
  13. Peterman has only slightly more experience than Allen and far, far, far less upside. Huge difference between a 5th round pick and #7 overall.
  14. Green Bay had the luxury of sitting Rodgers behind BRETT FAVRE for three seasons. Now...if you are saying the Bills have a comparable luxury then I don't know what to tell you. Allen is the most talented quarterback on the roster. The goal is to win. You have to play Allen now.
  15. It also doesn't help that prior to last season David Culley hadn't been a quarterbacks coach since 1988.
  16. Exactly...none of the Quarterbacks brought to camp were proven NFL starters. Peterman only has slightly more NFL experience than Josh Allen. How is Allen supposed to learn from that? Generally, when a rookie sits, they behind a proven NFL starter. There was no reason not to start Allen if the intent is to win.
  17. Yep, he's gotta look at the tape to see what happened.
  18. If they do announce Allen the starter, it will truly make me doubt McDermott's ability to evaluate talent, particularly at the QB position. Since the same mistake with Peterman was made last year, I say if he waffles again and does not start Allen the next 15 games (barring injury), he should be fired.
  19. Peterman is going to start. The fact that McDermott is still waffling about the decision gives it away.
  20. I lived in St. Louis when the Rams were still there, and now I live smack in the middle between Chicago and Green Bay. They all complain. Just as bad as we do.
  21. It is one thing to get picked apart by Drew Brees and a high powered Saints offense but it is another thing to get picked apart by a middle of the road Ravens offense led by Joe Flacco. Just wait until we get Rivers next week and Rodgers in week 4. Lord help us when we get Brady. I think we may see some records set if this is the status quo.
  22. He is not wrong. Go look at team stats for week 1. The only categories that we are not dead last in for offense are third downs made/attempted/percentage, penalties, and time of possession (we are second to last). We averaged 2.5 yards per play. The Eagles, which were second to last, averaged 3.6 yards per play. We are the worst team in the league by a wide margin at this point. And Baltimore wasn't even a top ten team. Just imagine what Rivers is going to do next week, or even what Rodgers is going to do in Week 4. Might see some records broken during those games.
  23. There are only ten players or so left over from the Rex Ryan/Doug Whaley era.
  24. Yeah, talent has a lot to do with it, but McDermott and Daboll failed to build a game plan that the talent could handle or even execute. This is just as much their fault as it is the player's fault.
  25. I think its delusional to think that there was anything positive to Peterman's performance today. He is done as a starting QB. In fact, I would waive him and pick up someone else. It couldn't be any worse. It certainly won't get any better.
